Well, I'd say I've been the most emotional over Naruto's ending when chapter 700 was being leaked. Everything after that has been extra material that didn't really give me the same feelings as the main series (occasionally) did. Also, there had always been other series that I liked more (FMA for instance). So even if it continues at some point, I'll return to it, but mostly because I like how their world is built (even if it's flawed, it has enough depth for me).

IDK why the guy didn't just vacation more often in the first place....Togashi seemed to take off whenever he wanted.... Oda took off when he needed a break, what was stopping Kishi?....he's on-par with them in terms of status, influence and negotiating power, now?..... I don't get it.

Well, now that I think about it, you've got to fight to keep your ranking....I guess he was too insecure to take time off for his health and family (that's what it comes down to..insecurity....and it's common and understandable...)....the drive to keep going is often the manifestation of insecurity,....you feel you have to work twice as hard as your competitors to keep your spot....

....either way, I would love a part 3 and see a lot of potential now that that narutoverse has expanded, but not by Kishi. He needs to go enjoy the life he built for himself and his family. License the story to the studios with creative input on a quarterly basis for a salary and (and royalties, naturally).....that way he gets to chill, keeps relative control over the continuation of the series, and continues to increase his wealth....but, eh...what do I know.

DBZ is a whole different story. When you think about it there is really no need for Naruto to come back. We as fans are spoiled with so many chioces now.

I agree DBZ should have stayed dead. Lets see if Kishi will still work on this series in his 70s. I mean he is in his 40s he is already slowing down.

I wouldn't expect for him to continue it any time soon, but I would expect a return in years. He'll probably go direct movies. There are at least some things that should have been expanded on in NV. I dunno, some extras dealing with things like Jugo's clan and the Kaguya clan would be nice. Not to mention the Ootsutsukis, and what happened before everything started.

I would have agreed with you if it actually looked like Kishi has interest in continuing the series. In the future if they were to actually make a movie I don't think Kishi would play a big role in it. It would be more or less SP. Otherwise those are some solid ideas. I however would feel butthurt that he did not try to expand the series sooner.

True, but I feel like the stunt he pulled in the movie (my personal opinion), and with the false advertisement on Boruto's character. I don't see how anyone can call this movie perfect, or great. It seems to be more about fighting scenes wank, mixed with a father/son story , and with lazy personalities.
