It got too big for Kishimoto. When he tried expending the world to match the manga's hype shit just went downhill.

I'm not even that much into anime anymore. It doesn't take an expert to realize how bad AgK really is. The author uses random, out of nowhere deaths as "development" and "shock value" as a fraudulent way to advance the story when there is no actual depth at all. There was so much potential to develop everywhere outside the capital but he ended up just destroying characters just for shock value. I'll take AC or Josh's opinion over yours when it comes to an anime being bad or not.
