On the contrary, i like Kishi's work as a whole. It's not even his fault if the fanbase is existed, divided, fought with others, etc.
As Naruto fans, you should know originally Kishi is more interested on making seinen genre manga, before an editor whom he respected so much suggested him to make a shounen one because the former believed his potential. At least Kishi tried it out and managed to gather a lot of fans through the story.
His art style is unique and seems like more people prefer Naruto. I mean, including business-wise. In my country, there's so much of Naruto merchandise than other shounen series, which tbh i find it frustrating at some part (you can guess which one is my other fav series :heh: ) but well, it's a good sign. We as the elders may feel disappoint with the recent arc and lots of mistakes/loopholes occurred in the manga, still we have to remember how excited we are about Naruto in the past, when we were younger. Kids' and adults' viewpoints are different, so if we're still a child as of now, we might not even care or understand what was wrong with it.
For me, Kishi has been doing his best. Not by splitting the fanbase but by attempting to balance with his own way of ending things and fans' wishes. The division happens because of fans' stupid mistake or acting like some kinda colloseum forumers, which is very funny to me. Narutard, Sauce, Nardo, Sexsuke, Obitard, Kishit etc... These people whom keep using such names over and over in their posts while bashing are the one building up the hatred + splitting the fanbase. Then, they act like a so-called boss by replying "
Oh looked like someone was butt hurt~" to any person protests about it. Lame.
