He's wrapping things up. This war has been going on for the longest time.

this battle has been going on for the longest time too, the battle started off as Naruto and Killer Bee fighting Obito and the Reanimated Jinchuriki and it looks like it's going to end with Team 7 and the Reanimated Hokage fighting Kaguya and Black Zetsu.

Kaguya was the one who started this whole thing, she stole the fruit which resulted in the birth of the Ten Tails.

She invented the Infinite Tsukuyomi, she is what Madara wants to become, and like BZ said, Madara was just like Obito in the end, this is the ultimate irony, he used so many others only to learn in the end that he was being used as well, its the perfect way for him to be defeated, beaten by the very same thing he did to so many others.

Also if you use Obito as an example of Madara defeating Kaguya, then I should point out that the only reason Madara "leashed" Obito was because Naruto pulled the Tailed Beasts out of them then BZ grabbed Obito and forced him to help, and Madara doesn't have BZ on his side anymore.

Also Madara knew Obito would betray him, he didn't know BZ would.

That isn't Kishi's style, Madara is already being set up for a TNJ, every major villain in the manga is inevitably TNJ, that's why Kishi had to bring in Kaguya who is pure evil.

Also Kishi can't bring closure to Hashirama's story unless they reunite and reconcile, Kaguya was created to give the manga a villain that is pure evil, Madara is about to get humbled.

Lol No. Madara is not pure Evil. He originally was a kind Man & we all know that & currently he thinks he is the Savior of this World. He thinks he saved everyone. This is NOT how a pure Evil being thinks.

Who we can call pure Evil is Kaguya right now. She's the real deal. She is the Alpha & the Omega of this ****ed up cycle of hatred that is going around NV right now. She is the cause, the beginning of that all & No One but She, will also be the End of it. #Believe #It.

Evryone's forgetting something, though: Kaguya was never evil. Her actions erroneously caused the cycle of hatred that Jiraya, Nagato, Minato, and Kakashi all talked about, but she had good intentions. The whole NV is just a manifestation of it all blowing up in her face. She is probably an enemy of the Juubi and the tree as a result of it all, but her real gripe now is with anyone who ruins her second chance to get it right. Her and Sasuke are not too different in what they want. Naruto relates more to Rikudou.
