There is a difference though. I can understand Naruto and putting his family on the back burner, but not so much for Kishimoto himself :|
Being a manga author is a tricky business I suppose.

I agree cause Naruto's job isn't drawings pictures all day but still... I'm not sure how he operates so I can't judge. He at least put food on the table, and clothes on their backs. So he isn't a horrible father by definition.

No, not horrible, but protecting your village and paving a way for your children's future>>>pursuing your dream and fame. I know a lot of ppl end up putting their career first which is what Kishimoto is if u boil it down. Paralleling Naruto to that doesn't seem quite right imo. Especially, if you look at Naruto when he told his son that Shinobi must endure.

True. Kishimoto's kid actually is kind of granted in his wake of being rebellious and a troublemaker, while Boruto is sort of 50/50. Cause Boruto's father has a job to do as the leader of the village, while Kishimoto like you said is pursuing his dream while neglecting them (if he has).

So I guess Kishimoto stabbed his hand in front of his coworkers and declared he was going to be the next famous Mangaka, believe it!

Well at least his family is rich. I wouldn't complain a minute if my dad was a multi millionaire.

I agree, but I understand y Boruto is like that. He is spoiled :p I mean his generation doesn't know of war, He is too young to know of the magnitude of what Naruto is trying to accomplish or how bad things used to be. There is a wide gulf between Naruto and Kishimoto

Children really do that u know. They hang out with the wrong crowd and do things that would get back at their parents. To get their attention. If that were the case it would be kinda messed up :| No matter what Kishimoto accomplishes as a mangaka family is always most important and Kishimoto would regret it if his child turned out bad because he prioritized his career.

So that means Kishi is as intelligent as Naruto? That would explain a lot.

Pls no more interviews :| My opinion of Kishimoto only seems to decrease every time and they seem to mostly be about pairings anyway.

So kishi married a hinata type of girl because of guilt? NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

this is why NS never happened smh

It was not guilt tripped! Learn to understand Naruto's character: He never experienced romantic love in his life. But that doesn't matter anymore, he is already married to Hinata with two children, there is no point in making pointless assumptions. What has happened has happened. And also you didn't understand Kishi's quote at all.
