i didn't know there was such thing as an izuna fan boy considered he was in like what 2 episodes? suck it up. izuna would've sucked there, obito was a total twist and wrench in the story and will make it more interesting....it would not have been cool or dramatic to watch when izuna dies. when obito dies it will be dramatic and when he and kakashi battle it will be epic. you're just salty that you're theories were wrong. kagami was mentioned once.....again not dramatic, which a story like naruto has dramatic twists in it. when obito falls it will be climactic, if izuna was revealed to be tobi and he died we'd just be like...oh...

so basically what your saying is that when he introduced tobi and first showed his warping ability, which has been somewhat similar to kakashi's MS tech ever since it was first debuted, he hadn't been quite sure who he was gonna make tobi be yet and he only decided this what around chapter 600 when this other crap happened in the begining of part II.... really? what kind of logic are you using exactly... also why would he even have given back story on how kakashi got his eye other then just when the mission went wrong, like a flash back...not a whole gaiden set up for just the purpose of you seeing where kakashi's eye came from then making the techs similar made people wonder ever since they saw the spiral warp from both kakshi and tobi and there being no other technique ever shown that even comes close in appearances..... i could type it slower if you have trouble going from thought to thought as you obviously can't really formulate your own opinion that makes any sense what so ever..... fail thread

Tobi being Obito has had a huge dramatic impact and it's far more interesting now that things are a bit more emotional.

Had it been Izuna or Kagami, both of which has had less screen time than Tenten, we would just have shrugged...

Obito was/is the best choice for the story. Neither of the two you mentioned would have any sort of affect on the story the same way Obito does.

Most people seem to be over their original choice, and moved on. You still need to get over it.

It's really time that people start getting over the fact that it is Obito. It's Kishimoto-sensei's manga, so why do people think their theory of Tobi is better than that of the mangaka himself?
He clearly stated in an interview that everything has been planned out already, so Tobi being Obito was already decided. Kagami and Izuna were only mentioned a few times in the manga as opposite to Obito, who was mentioned a lot. Kagami and Izuna don't have any reason to start a war, Obito does.
You may call it the most obvious choice that Tobi was Obito and therefore it isn't a good choice, but funnily enough a lot of people thought it too obvious so it should be someone else. I like the plot twist that Kishimoto-sensei put in that.
