I mean all arguments on the base are based on what was depicted in the manga only and should be proved with manga facts/scans.

so what kishi says or does not say sorta doesn't also have any weight if it doesn't appear in any of his work.

It's kinda like giving an oral explanation to an incomplete science paper that you handed, after it has been graded.

naruto finished at chapter 700 gaiden and so anything that can't be proved with scans from those chapters is not part of the naruto or shouldn't be regarded as so

Does anyone agree?

It's a cheap rebuttal. Especially since he doesn't now his own power levels.

I never take any "quotes" seriously unless they're sourced in which case I then believe them.

I'm on the fence. I think it's pretty cheap for an author to settle disputes with a simple "Protagonists 1 an 2 are equals". I like the good ol' days when authors were non-chalant, but answered the fans with special periodicals as a shoutout while still leaving the debate open. But manga scans can be a bit cheesy, too. Especially because of awkwardly placed shoutouts that amount to mere fan service. Examples? It's debatable whether or not Tobiramas compliment about Minato's FTG is cheesy, but Hasirama sure was handin' out feats like ice cream cones in the midst of a crisis (velveta). In fact, the whole war was fan service for the Prime Hiruzens and the Tobiramas out there. We got no feats for the many shinobi that fought. Sorry for runnin' on. Just sayin'.

Canon vs filler, boy... If it's an official medium it should count. So if Kishi helps write and does the story frame for a movie, like he did for the last two movies it's canon. If it goes in the databooks or he states it in an interview it's legit. I do think some of the stuff he says should have been in the manga, but he does have editors.

Nah, i disagree. Most of the things he has said have not been directly done in the manga, therefore i feel like using feats of people from other situations in unfair.

If kishi says something and then were to actually do that exact thing in the manga, it should very well line up with his opinions and facts about his own story. Or else it probably didn't come from him.

So if DB statements count, what exactly should be the basis for answering questions or settling arguments!?

for example, DB says naruto can perform all chakra natures but this has never appeared in neither the manga or a movie.so if a sasuke vs naruto war came up, how could one use that as a counter against a sasuke attack if it is unknown weather naruto is able to skillfully execute such techniques or even the scale of them??

The author of his own story has no say if it wasn't explained thoroughly in the Manga ....:lol wat
it's sorta like the law of contracts which says acceptance of an offer must be communicated/expressed in one way or another.A mere mental acceptance does not suffice.

so if kishi wanted stuff to be part of the manga he should have added it.it's naruto base were we discuss naruto, not what might possibly be goingon In kishi's head lol
