Well It's because of kishi relying too much on the main characters. If he developed the K11, They would at least be of use. Even konoha's elites are irrelevant in the war.

Everything went from worse to shit because everyone who wasn't exhausted from days of fighting, namely, the Edo Hokages, were put down by Madara. This isn't an issue of "Oh no, Naruto and Sasuke are down", but of "Madara is OP as hell." Even if K11 had been developed more(seriously, this is a story, do you expect focus on EVERY character, especially SUPPORTING characters), they would still be exhausted and too weak to stop Madara. Madara would still have succeeded for the sake of the story.

No I don't agree. Everything turned worst when Madara was brought back to life and stole Hashiramas SM. Madara is just to strong. If Kishi relied on his main characters he wouldn't have killed them. The K11 have been developed but it wouldn't make sense to put them on kage level tiers either way Madara is fodderizing everyone.

I agree to an extent. Yes, it does seem like the good guys can't seem to get anywhere without the help of the two MC's but that's mainly because Kishi will not let anyone get more shine than Naruto and Sasuke. IMO, he's trying too hard to portray them as the heroes of the war without anyone getting nearly as much recognition as these two.

Hell, even the famous and powerful Hokages are gonna end up paling in comparison when it comes to feats in this war. It's just Kishi's style. Not a style I'm particularly fond of but it is what it is.

Oh and as others said, people are tired and Madara is OP as heck. It's kind of ridiculous right now but whatevs, friendship wins in the end right?

Yeah I kinda agree & it is true , but now that they're down , some characters will get the spotlight & will save Naruto & Sauske , so right now it varies IMO ....but overall yeah , we still don't know why the hell the Kages other than Gara are doing here , K11 are completely useless withput Naruto's help . I hope we keep them off panel for a while & let the other characters do something .

Not really. Sure Naruto and Sasuke are main players but SA is there to support them.

Since you are talking about current situation its far too simple. Obito wore them all down and they cant stand up to madara in this shape.

And it's not all because Sasuke and Naruto were put down. Hashirama and Tobirama we're also owned by Madara and suddenly some Spiral Zetsu shows up and gives the alliance even more trouble.

Though I kinda agree that he could have made the K11 members a little stronger so they'd be of use, especially Lee and Neji (Who's dead now, but I would have liked to see him become stronger before that), they both had a lot of potential and it's sad that Kishi kinda forgot about them :-(

People who are upset the K11 didn't get developed so much only have one thing to blame for their butthurt: themselves for failing to understand that supporting characters like them do not get developed a lot within a story. People mad that K11 didn't develop a lot is like someone who buys a turtle, then gets upset when he can't fly it to school.
