To be fair, everyone's gone down rather easily against Madara. Everyone he's fought he's defeated with utmost ease.

It's more due to everyone being completely worn out from the fight with Obito rather than Madara being strong. He's picking on a bunch of worn-out Shinobi's.

Well It's because of kishi relying too much on the main characters. If he developed the K11, They would at least be of use. Even konoha's elites are irrelevant in the war.
