You misunderstood me. It is as possible as for Madara being Indra. What I'm saying here is that it's too early to make conclusions, we have absolutely no confirming facts to say who of them is Indra.

I guess it's a matter of perception. To me he doesn't look like Sasuke at all Also Ashura has nothing common in appearance with Naruto, so it can't be taken as an argument anyway.

The Sage said that Ashura needed his friends help to get strong, but once his chakra flourished he became as strong as Indra.
Since he needed his friends help he learned the meaning of love and cooperation.
But he became as strong as his genius brother that did all by himself.

Sage younger son got his power through hard work, coorporation and friendship helped him on the way like with Naruto(Kakashi training, sage training, Bijuu Mode). That is the reason, the Sage chose the younger son instead of the older son .

Um..I think you missed the part where he said "After years of training, Ashura eventually rivaled Indra."..That, and Madara seems to be the reincarnate of Indra, seeing as their personalities are essentially two of the same..Sasuke's is kind of in between.

madara cant be indra because he is not of the same generation as naruto.
He was also ALWAYS inferior to hashirama while indra was always superior to ashura in their childhood.
If naruto is ashura, someone of the same generation has to be indra.

Both indra and sasuke have choko tomoe.

I personally believe Sasuke is Indra.....iirc Kishi has said that Naruto and Sasuke progress together or something like that. If Sasuke is not the opposite of Naruto/Ashura....then who would he be? He'd be left out completely....I feel Kishi won't do this.

Of course I could be wrong as imho Indra does look more like Madara than anyone. With the PS, long hair, armor, etc. He just utterly resembles Madara for me. Even so....I still feel Indra is nao with Sasuke. Sasuke has to be the other side of that coin I feel.

Like most have said, Madara may be The Rikudous brother....in spirit of course. We shall see.... ^_^

Madara died, he died- I tink pple are forgettin that fact. Indra reincarnated thru the ages in different generations. As madara died obviously indras reincarnation then became sasuke, common sense and logic dictates this. The manga theme has portrayed both naruto and sasuke all along as bein the younger and older sons reincarnation so why wuld kishi suddenly change it????

By saying either or both Madara & Sasuke were Hagoromo elder son.
Then why did both of them need "assistance";
Madara need Hashimara DNA, as he himself want to be the so-called 'power' for himself only.
Sasuke .......(being mentioned before).

Understand what Hagoromo said to Naruto inside Naruto mind.
His younger son Ashrua reincarnated into Naruto, "The No Good".
He entrust that something to Naruto. Just like when Hagoromo made Ashura as "successor".

i see the reading comprehension on the base is a little suspect. it clearly states that ashura was able to obtain the same power as his brother when his chakra blossomed. it's not like when he fought his brother he brung a bunch of guys, that would be stupid of you to think thats what happened.
