I agree that Ashura was not inferior to Indra and Naruto is not Inferior to Sasuke, but I think the manga has made it pretty clear that Sasuke is Indra after Madara died.

The soul is currently in Sasuke. Sasuke and Madara have their own souls apart from Indra's. When Madara died, Indra went into Sasuke. When Madara was revived he got his own soul but not Indra's.

Common sense dictates that they both are possibly Indra's reincarantion but perhaps more so for Sasuke, because this whole theme is running on the idea that Good and Bad are subjective, and Sasuke aims to do something good for the village but in turn, his ways are seen as bad by Naruto because of his connection to the Bijuu.

You misunderstood me. It is as possible as for Madara being Indra. What I'm saying here is that it's too early to make conclusions, we have absolutely no confirming facts to say who of them is Indra.
