Naraka Path is the secret jutsu to extract and eat human souls and beckon (呼び出す, different from kuchiyose) the King of Hell. The rest just explains what we clearly saw; that when it grasps them they are weakened and can't resist, that if it eats their souls they die, and that it judges them, etc.

So if the king of hell's offensive power is to extract souls...

What purpose does the outer path soul dragon and human path serve if they both can do the same exact thing?

Three out of seven realms do the exact same thing.

Gedo Mazou was a empty vessel of the Juubi and King of Hell was summoning tool used to cast Gedo: Art of Rinne Rebirth which is a reincarnation Jutsu through the Outer Path.

The human path and hell path have somewhat similar abilities, at least visually, but the human path is mainly used to gain intel from the victims, so I think it pulls out the mind, rather than the soul.

They are two different things.

The Dragon was used to remove Bijuu. It's also a better method to removing souls than Naraka, as you don't have to get close.

The King of Hell's main use is a medium for a large-scale Rinne Tensei.

The Human Path's main use is knowledge absorption, which just so happens to have soul removal as a side-effect. They do have something in common: They remove souls, but they also serve other purposes as well. There was no need for this thread.
