Kakashi is one hard mother****er.

Comes to show why Uchiha are just soft b*tches.

Look at Naruto, Gaara, Kabuto & Kakashi. They had horrible lives, but stepped up and changed their future for the better.
Actually, this is somewhat true and i agree. If Kakashi had been emo he'd be a villain by now.

Elaborate please.
It's stupid from the standpoint, that not everybody reacts the same.
It's stupid from the standpoint, that not everybody's lives were exactly the same.

For you to sit there and compare their lives is ridiculous and to be fair to you, you're not the only one who does it. (Sorry if i'm sounding offensive)

I hate the fact that people always try to compare people's lives off one another.

You don't get the point.

Uchiha go whack after losing something, not all Uchiha in general such as Itachi, Shisui, etc. Most Uchiha will pursue the path to vengeance rather than thinking it over and get power hungry.

Yet there are tons of non Uchiha who literally had the shittiest lives and still stepped up.

No.

You don't get to compare lives and then decide, 'Oh, he had it worse so those others who complain are XYZ'. That's stupid. Of course others are going to react differently, just because they didn't react the Naruto, Kakashi and Gaara way, doesn't mean that those Uchiha are soft.

Also, I don't buy Tobirama's 'explanation' simply because Madara had 4 brothers, yet was only seen to lose it when Izuna died?

If it were just one or two i could agree. But as Tobirama explained and as we observed in the manga, too many uchihas turn loss into an excuse for hatred and revenge, even when there's still a better way available to them.

Sasuke lost his parents, but they were Itachi's parents as well and he had to suffer more than him. Yet Sasuke almost lost himself(maybe he still has) in his path for revenge.

Obito witnessed the death of the girl he loved in shocking circumstances, but when he found out the truth of what happened and how his reasons to stay evil became silly.

Madara couldn't beat Hashirama, had his clan turn his back on him and wasn't made hokage. Finishing the world is not the answer to that problem.

Actually madara co founded Konoha after Izuna died. So that wasn't what turned him over the edge, it was the Uchihas turning their back on him and his fear of being sidelined to the senjus.

And of course we can compare them(and should as well). That's the whole point of this story, same pain yet different reactions, exactly like all the Obito-Naruto parallels kishi has developed. Or Naruto's ability to forgive Nagato by not killing him which changed him etc.

But the thing with each of them (probably not Obito) is that these are continuing problems, not just a couple of isolated incidents.

Sasuke: Brother who he loved kills his whole clan and forces him to watch it. Kills brother and thinks he has finally righted the wrongs of his paths however, finds out the truth of the whole matter. These are continuing events, they aren't happening just as a one-off. These things are continually happening one after the other like some sick joke. I'm not surprised he almost lost his mind, that's way too much crap for a 16 year old to deal wit all at once.

Madara: Lost 4 brothers but for some reason, only really cared that much when Izuna died. Makes peace with the Senju clan, discovers that basically his clan will never truly live in peace, tries to explain himself, gets shunned so takes extreme (very extreme imo) drastic actions to prevent what he believes will happen (and it did happen).

My point is, that you can't compare one person's life to another and decide who you believe had it worse, it isn't a competition of who had it worse. If everyone in the Manga reacted the same way as Naruto, Kakashi and Gaara, what would be the point of the Manga? What would be the point of any of those characters? We were giving the chance to see the other side of 'doing the right thing' (whatever the hell that means) and people are complaining?
It makes no sense to me at all.

It's not the same pain. Not even close. Losing loved ones and not knowing people are two VERY different pains (trust me I know personally about that).

It was the Uchiha clan's choice to decide where they wanted to stand in the village not anyone else's so no.

Age has no relevance in this manga i'm afraid. Kakashi was still younger(about 13) and his dad, two friends and sensei had all died for the village. They had all been used for Konoha's interest, much like Itachi had been. Itachi being used=Sasuke's reason for revenge, as we find out later in the manga.
His solution to that problem still didn't help his clan now did it? Nor the memory of his dead brother as Hashirma mentions at the Valley of the end. How will attacking Konoha as the former head of the Uchiha help the Uchiha get a higher status within Konoha?

Oh i understand. Good cannot exist without evil and all that crap. Those characters were necessary, and trust me i'm not complaining that they were evil, just stating that this comparison ought to be done by us readers as the author has himself intended. That, and that Kakashi in particular has had it most severe of all, without really serving any concrete purpose to the plot(besides the Naruto parallel).

It's not the same pain. Not even close. Losing loved ones and not knowing people are two VERY different pains (trust me I know personally about that).
I was talking about Naruto losing Jiraiya. And STILL forgiving Nagato.

He's not evil or insane because he can control his emotions, like a mature adult. He thinks before act and doesn't get caught up with revenge or negative feelings, he's too mentally strong for that.

And the fact that he's still a hero actually proves that he loves him.
