Personally when I started naruto I thought ''oh well the kid wants to become hokage that co0l'' but when I entered shippuden its like the real story just started and im not hating or something like that but kishi is too weird! their are 2 thing i can just think of
1-hes improvising as he goes
2-he had it all planned out from the very beginning (witch is 2 hard 2 believe)
ok ok ok heres where im going...
1-the akatsukis plan was something weird about money involved and being an elite forse or something...but then he changes the whole thing and it turns out that he Madara/Tobi wants to doo the whole ''peace'' thing with the genjutsu and what not...maaaaayybe he thought that the story was too crappy oooor mayyybe Madara/Tobi only had trust with the last remaining akatsuki members witch were Kisame and Zetsu and if he told the other members they might'v gotten scared and tried to betray him or leave....
2-(this is the one that pisses me the most) the story about the rinnegan and from what I understanded was suppose too be that the one who DESERVED it or was from the SO6P blood line....why does know every uchiha can have a chance to activate it at any point...personally thats bull**** i really got a bit pissed when i saw the edo-jinchuriki's with it...its like...nooo you cant doo that...you cant clone the God damn thing for everyone its just unfair!
IDK where kishi is going with this but i just hope he proves me wrong and he shows me that it was all planned :/
