And I wouldn't assume that Kishi doesn't know Star Wars. It's been dubbed and subbed in Japanese. Even though Star Wars is a movie, it is EASILY comparable to timeless literary pieces, like the Odyssey. It's an enormous icon that almost everybody can relate to. George Lucas drew on a lot of themes, and situations for his series. There are many similarities to real life. Such as how Palpatine came to power, destroying the Republic and building a personal army, then hunting down anybody who wouldn't blindly follow. How about EVERY single dictator in history? So, is Lucas a thief for using the lives of Hitler and other dictators as inspiration for characters/inspirations? How about Han Solo, the anti-hero turned hero. Was he the first of his kind? Of course he wasn't, but does it make Lucas a liar, or something? Alls I am saying is that some Naruto fans (most of them) are clearly incapable of rational thought. That's why shit threads like this get made. op, you're just awful, in every way imaginable.

You do know that this thread has been made a countless number of times right? Hypocritical in a sense.

OT: Star Wars is modern mythology. There are themes in Star Wars which are almost impossible to lean away from in the modern day while also making it entertaining and appealing. Also Star War took a lot of inspiration from a mythological story called Seven Samurai and what do you know? It's Japanese, and Kishimoto openly creates allusions of Japanese mythology.
