I was thinking since there's alot to go through, analysis would be better. Some rp between Judal and Archer wouldn't exactly be the worst thing though and could be interesting. I'm good with whatever you prefer.

RP could be cool, but we make a section for OOC questions and stuff? Just to build some stuff between the characters?

Today I found myself training one of my own. A proud student of House Slytherin. However, all had to begin at some point. Today, training would take place in the training fields. With my wand at my side, I descend from above and stop right before landing on the ground before my student. I keep myself suspended in mid air, and simply point my wand towards him.

"So, a Slytherin, huh? Good. We're the better House anyway. Don't let anyone tell you different. Nonetheless, what do you know of Mahou, child?"

Sounds good. I need to develop his story more so tis works out well.

Archer stood at the center of the training ground, emotionless almost, looking on as his teacher made an appearance, hovering inches above the ground. Showing off. Flying to the ground when he could have walked. He had heard many stories regarding Judal, the Head of Slytherin House, about his cruel and prideful ways but, they were just stories. Stories that he didn't care about. He was there for one reason and one reason only, to better understand their clan and this individual was best suited to help him with that so he listened as Judal spoke.

Despite his talk lasting no longer than a few seconds, listening to Judal made his ears ache. The child calling him child? Disrespectful. Archer cared not for ranks, his own pride wouldn't let him, especially not when he was insulted by some spoiled brat.

"Did you not take the opportunity to look into the mirror when you were dressing up with all that fancy clothes and accessories, or maybe when you were doing your hair?! Perhaps you haven't noticed but, the only child here is you. Flying in here like you got some new toy"

His words said one thing and his actions another. He had called Judal the child yet he behaved like one. Contradicting himself yet again. Allowing one simple word to trigger his response. It was unlike him. It wasn't until he became a part of Slytherin House that he was so easily irritated and put on edge. He had completely blanked out everything else Judal had said for those few moments. He forgot where or who he was talking to in that moment but, regretted none of it. Regaining his composure, Archer thought back to what his senior had said and asked him to elaborate on.

"I apologize for that. Not my words obviously but, the tone in which I spoke them. I'm usually a lot calmer than that. Anyway, Mahou is an advanced form of Ninjutsu utilized by our clan that is capable of battling on equal terms with elemental Ninjutsu. Differing from manipulation of regular Ninjutsu, which requires handseals, we utilize Mahou through verbal commands and hand movements to achieve the desired result. Mahou has many uses, such as giving objects new properties (charms), altering the form and appearance of the targeted object (transfiguration), allowing the user to defend against malicious chakra (defense against the dark arts) or to cause serious harm to the intended target (dark arts). There are also more advanced usages of Mahou, through which you can shield your mind from being invaded by any external sources (occlumency) or invade the minds of others (legilimency) but, this is only achieved through years of practice and mastery of the previously mentioned fields. That's all I know presently, my knowledge of Mahou is limited to what I've heard and read so hopefully it will suffice.

"I do like having fun, maybe killing you would be fun as well? Want to test the theory? No? Then shut the hell up, and listen to my far superior explanation on Mahou."

Judal says, as he listens to the young Kisei, still naive in the ways of Mahou, yet arrogant as ever. A trait of a proud Slytherin, but I was his superior, and he had to know this. Nonetheless, through the use of Mahou and Transfiguration I was able to create moving images made from Water which dances around in the area between me and my student.

"As you can see from the illustration, Mahou is an advanced form of Ninjutsu, done through will and chakra. This allows us to utilize a great many things, as you have stated. Each of those fields, we'll go into detail with. Mahou is applied through spells, incantations, words that are said in order for actions to take place, through sheer will and chakra, or simpler, the use of Mahou. Of course, there exists those fields you stated, but there are also potions, special brews that increase or enhance your Mahou usage. Nonetheless, let's talk your wand."

I state as I remove mine from my pouch. It was slim and exquisite, with a red jewel at the top of it, which lights up through the use of Mahou.

"I assume you have one?"

I asked, mockingly.

Archer scoffed at Judal's words. Even his explanation's needed to be superior to others, what an ass he was but, he was his teacher and superior. Keeping his emotions in check during this training important, especially if he wanted to live long enough to learn the ways of their clan.

Judal's power and knowledge far surpassed his own and his demonstration proved it. A master of the Water element, even he couldn't do such a thing so easily. The power and versatility of Mahou was on full display as well.

Just as the thoughts ran through his mind, Judal brought up the topic of wands, removing his own which was custom made before asking Archer if he possessed one mockingly. Archer sighed, clearing his mind of the thoughts of kicking Judal's head of his neck knowing he would probably die if he tried. Instead he unsheated his sword that was strapped to his left hip and removed his wand which lay within it, made from Ashwood and Thestral Tail Hair, he pointed it at Judal.

"Even a novice such as myself possesses one." He said, smirking as he did.

"Hm, an interesting wand. Ivory in color, must be Ashwood then. Want to specialize in Charms, I took you more for a Dark Arts kind of guy, like myself. Nonetheless, that very wood the Wand is made of, what do you know of it?"

I asked, as I flipped around my own wand, made from Yew and Thestral Tail Hair.

"The wands utilized by members of our clan are made from the wood of the dormant form of the Jūbi. What makes the wood special is its chakra conducting properties and due to being from the Jūbi's dormant form, the wood retains some of its influence. This means each piece of wood is somewhat different, possessing personalities which make them ideal for certain individuals and not so much for others."

Archer looked at his own wand afterwards, examining it carefully as he thought about Judal's words regarding him potentially specializing in the Dark Arts.

"Indeed, its as animate as inanimate object can be, also known to be quasi-sentient. Treat your wand with respect, its an extension of you. Nonetheless, you now have two choices."

I state as I finally land on the ground, the cold of the concrete floor made me wonder why I still didn't wear shoes. Oh yeah, they were annoying to wear.

"Charms, or Transfiguration. Choose on the fields, and we'll cover it first. This isn't going to be an easy one though, both of these fields encompass a large amount of techniques, and requires one to have quite some skill in terms of utilizing Mahou, which you haven't done yet. So choose wisely."

I state, as I hold up the two scrolls from each magic field.

Archer thought on Judal's words before making his decision. Both fields were useful in their own right and eventually he would learn both but, he leaned towards Transfiguration for some reason.

"Let's go with Transfiguration first, the challenge of learning it interests me more."

"Alright, Transfiguration."

I state, as I am now on the ground, waving my wand around in a playful manner.

"Something I like using quite a lot myself, do you know what the field entails? Let's try and go a bit deeper than the surface of it."

I state, as I await an explanation from the stoic Slytherin.

He expected Judal to ask him to give him an explanation before proceeding. His knowledge wasn't at the level of Judal but, he knew enough. As the snake spoke, his mind wandered, trying to recall everything he knew before doing as the Head of Slytherin House said.

"Transfiguration, in its most basic application, is a field of Mahou that revolves around the changing of objects from one thing to another or giving it new properties, this could range from its composition, shape, state of matter and appearance. Like I said though, this is the most basic form of Transfiguration, better known as Transformation, and is therefore the easiest to perform when compared to the advanced applications, namely Vanishment and Conjuration. Vanishment, as the name suggests, is making objects cease to exist in that space through the use of Mahou for a limited time. Lastly, said to be the most difficult application of Transfiguration due to its usefulness, is Conjuration which through the utilization of Mahou, allows the user to create something from nothing. Naturally, something so versatile comes with restrictions and this is no different. Whilst the user can create almost anything he can imagine, he cannot conjure living entities, elements of his own creation, weapons that cannot be destroyed or can destroy anything, etc."

Archer took in a deep breath after his explanation on Transfiguration. His jaw sore from talking so much, he simply uttered a few words to Judal.

"That's all I know though, I'm sure you will have more to add."

"Nope!"

I exclaimed. That was pretty much all of what Transfiguration consisted of.

"As you said, its quite basic. However, its uses, almost endless. Now, we'll start with Transformation. Although said to be the easiest one to do, the options it allows are insane. With that spell, I am able to for example, turn a Solid into a Liquid. Not only other things can be transformed, but also yourself. You could give yourself some wings, perhaps some nice claws, or even the head of a Shark if you want to be funny. That being said, read over this and try out the first usage of Transformation. Change the properties of something here on the field, and explain its other uses for me."

I said, as I threw a scroll towards the man. He seemed to be quite eager to begin now.

Transformation - Supplementary ( D - S )

Thought of as the most basic of the four types of Transfiguration, transformation spells focus on deforming the physical features of an object. All Transformation spells are triggered with the spell ( Permuto ). Transformations are divided within 2 types, easily seen based on their applications and targets. The first Basic Transformations, reminiscent of the Transformation and Combination jutsus, are transformations that change the physical properties of a targeted item. This allows the user to change the properties of an item to give it new traits or properties. The user is able to transfigure a solid into a liquid or another solid, a liquid into a solid or into a gas/another liquid, or a gas into a liquid or another gas, all of proportionate size and directed at speeds based on the natural speed of the item manipulated. These items can only be basic items in the sense of they cannot turn something into the properties of an element the user does not have, nor can they change the properties of something created by another Kisei unless with equal or higher power/chakra. Of course, the amount of chakra used must exceed the amount of chakra present in the object being transformed for any change unless the object has no chakra present in it at all ( like a simple chair, stone, pool of water, etc ) in which case it is transformable with a simple D rank application of the spell for small things A for larger things. With an S rank application, the user is able to transfigure his own person and take on temporary enhancements such as using mahou to transfigure his upper body into that of a shark, or his legs into that of a bear, etc, and can only lasts up to 2 turns each usage and can only be used 3 times. The second, Switching greatly resembles general transformation, but with with two main differences: firstly, the features of the two targets are switched simultaneously; secondly, the change in one of the pair is dependent on a change in the other. For example, if the armor on a statue is targeted with the user's clothes, then the two items will be "switched", akin to the outcome of Substitution jutsu. The only restrictions applied specifically to this type the items must be of comparative size and within mid range of one another. Transformations of any kind can only be used once every 2 turns and cannot target sentient (living) beings besides the user and summonings.

As Judal launched the scroll towards him, using his right hand, Archer snatched it out of the air and opened it on one motion, reading over its contents carefully.

Having memorized what was written within the scroll, he threw it high into the air and swiftly rose his arm, wand in hand, and through fluid movement and the spell Permuto, he would transform the scroll into water, letting it fall harmlessly to the ground.

"I hope you didn't need that.

Anyway, the second type of Transformation, known as Switching, works similarly to the Substitution technique. The targeted items switching places simultaneously but, they need to be of similar size and within 5-15 meters of you in order for it to work."

OOC: I wasn't sure if you meant other uses for the first type or explain the second type lol.

"Good."

He was a Slytherin, so of course he was going to be good. The Sorting Hat didn't make no mistakes especially when it came to skills. Nonetheless, Transformation was quite interesting, and I was glad he could understand Switching as well.

"Yes, its basically substitution. Though you did miss one thing, it can't be used on Sentient beings, except yourself and Summonings. So yes, you could basically switch yourself out with some inanimate object to dodge something. Just be sure it has the same size as you and is within range. Nonetheless, it seems Transformation is as simple as it gets. Let's move on to Vanishment. An impressive usage of Mahou, where you will use your Mahou to cause a thing to go into a state of non-existence. It basically collapses in on itself and is destroyed, vanishing. Can't be used on anything with more than A rank chakra, a living being, opponent or animal. Anyway.."

Vanishment: - Defensive ( A )

A purely "A" ranked spell, requiring the use of only a single incantation to vanish almost any object ( Evanesco ). Vanishment is the art of using Mahou to cause objects to go into a state of non being; essentially, making it so that the object does not exist anymore. While called vanishing spells, it should be noted that the title is a bit misleading; while items it makes contact with are “erased”, they do not vanish entirely from existence. When the vanishing spell makes contact, the chakra within it causes it to cause the targeted item to collapse inwards on itself, appearing to fold into space rapidly as it is destroyed. However, this branch of conjuration is unable to be used on objects infused with chakra above A rank. This also isn't capable of being used on the opponent nor any animal or living being. Upon the beam making contact, the item vanishes in a thin mist proportionate to the item vanished, a thinly veiled yet visible mist left behind that doesn’t hinder vision. Usable once every 3 turns. Target is left vanished for 3 turns.

I say, I point to a door across the courtyard.

"Make that disappear, **** around with some school kids. You know."

Once Judal concluded his explanation of on Vanishment, Archer shifted his attention towards his next target, the classroom door. A smirk appeared on his face. The possibilities this spell provided were exciting. Moving his hand, he pointed his wand towards the door and spoke the incantation Evanesco, releasing a beam of Mahou to strike the door and cause it to collapse in on itself, surprising the students within the classroom.

"We should have targeted something larger, like a building. That would have been more ... interesting. It would have returned after some time anyway."

"It seems you too have a sinister mind, huh? Nonetheless, great usage of that technique. If you have no more questions on Vanishment, we will head onward with the next step of Transfiguration known as, Conjuration. Possibly my favorite sub-field, having used it quite a few times before in battle, it came to be one of the most useful things around. Let's see how creative your mind is."

Conjuration - Offensive/Defensive/Supplementary ( D - S )

The most difficult branch of Transfiguration, conjuration deals with the usage of Mahou to create objects from nothing. Conjurations are done with the use of the incantation (Obtestor). With a usage from D-S, the user is able to conjure anything he desires within reason from chairs to swords. However, being the most useful facet of Transfiguration, also leads conjuration to be the most restricted. Nothing within the realms of custom elements, for example, can be summoned. The user could not conjure a "sword that cuts through anything" or an unbreakable shield for example. The Conjured objects are imbued with a measure of mahou, ranging from D-S rank and guided by the user's wand at speeds up to twice as fast as the user's speed. Conjured objects last a maximum of 4 turns before automatically fading away, draining 10 chakra per turn. Additionally, the user is unable to conjure people or sentient/living beings, or anything within short range of the opponent. Additionally, when several items are conjured, the rank of said conjuration is split evenly. S ranked Conjurations can only last 3 turns and be used 3 times in all.

"With this, you are able to use Mahou to create objects, from nothing. Done through the incantation of Obtestor, you will conjure anything within reason. No special elements that you just thought of, or immortal beings, or anything of that kind. But, you can make things based on elements you do known, your own elements, which are either D to S rank, and move at twice your current speed. They last 4 turns, though S rank ones last 3 turns and can only be used three times. Make something cool."

I said, as I awaited his performance. Time to see some Conjuration.

"I'd say I'm more curious than a sinister. I could have hit the building but, chose not to afterall. Anyway ..."

Closing his eyes briefly, Archer created mental images of something he could conjure that his teacher would consider cool. Having decided, he swung his hand and spoke the incantation Obtestor, utilizing his Mahou to conjure a creature next to him. The reaper was imbued with wind natured chakra, a book in one hand with a scythe in the other. Appearing as though it could actually read.

"It seems cool, right?

"Being curious is the key to power, ask the Dark Lord. Or rather, don't. He doesn't like talking about the past that much, just read about it int he text books. Anyway, that was indeed pretty cool. Now how about taking him back, through Reparifarge, or Untransfiguration? Pretty simple, you will undo a Conjuration with this spell, it stays at B rank and allows you to return something to its original shape in a sense. This can be done to both make your conjured creature disappear and bring back that door."

Untransfiguration - Supplementary ( B )

The final branch of Transfiguration magic, and perhaps the second simplest (behind transformation). Untransfiguration deals simply with undoing the effects of a previous Transfiguration, turning something back to its original state, and undoing a conjuration. The amount of magic used in the Untransfiguration is at constant rank of 'B'. Mostly used when students perform a Transfiguration incorrectly, or when the user wishes to return something to its original shape. The incantation used is ( Reparifarge).

"Go for it."

I said, now having more courage in his skills. He seemed to be well versed already.
