KIsame loses to guy either way because...

1. Kisames speed doesnt match up to guys

2. Kisames sword will have no chakra to feed of since guy doesnt use chakra

3. Kisames shark mode with water dome wont work cause guy opening the gates stops the water from touching him jus like it did when he was under water when he beat the kisame clone. That so the water will only make kisame faster when he's in the water, once guy gets close(which since he's not under water it wont be hard) the water will evaporate an kisame loses his only edge.

4. I believe kisames sword can only heal if it has the chakra to(which it cant absorb from guy but i may be wrong)

5. All in all i think kisame's style after using that sword for so long is so based on absorbing his oppenents chakra. That when he's finally faced with an oppenent that wont work on it will throw him off. Besides it's not like kisames base wise is stronger than guy, maybe but that not a fact an guy's a very powerful opponent.

well thats a clone. why wont the water dome work? it worked on bee v2 form. and the bijuu cloak burns the skin and hotter than gai's gates. the water dome is the size of a village. it wont evaporate that fast. sharkmode in waterdome is faster than gai.

everyone has chakra inside their body its their stamina right. samehada can absorb gai chakra as well as anybody else. like when it bite bee...samehada was absorbing bees chakra without him knowing.

gai only used one move which is afternoon tiger and he was exhausted after.
kisame survived it without his full potential. and kisame still had more str and stamina left than gai after kisame got hit... dont you see this? kisame will kill gai if he wants to but hes surrounded by bee and naruto and yamato.

samehada can just heal him. and gai has nothing left there.

I see your point and I agree with you to a certain extent. Although if Kisame where to go up against a ninjutsu user he could absord all of their attacks as they are all chakra based attacks.

Taijutsu users don't utilise chakra like ninjutsu users so in order for Kisame to drain their chakra, he has actually touch the user with samehada. Even then it hasn't shown to drain chakra as fast when in contact with someone than if the chakra is already outside the body.

Also Neji is actually pretty fast with a 4.5 in speed in the databooks while tsunade has a 3.5 in speed, so he would still have a considerable advantage. Just pointing that out.

Why do people keep sayin that kisames weakness is taijutsu? This is not true.

Kisame weilds samehada like nothing and it probably weighs 300-400 pounds meaning hes super strong and it reduces his actual speed. Gai actually stated that he has superhuman strength and its only his clone.

Kisame easily went toe to toe with killerbee in taijutsu mode and he countered every attack and even dodged the raiton bullet pencil while attacking the giant racoon and others as well. While Sasuke got raped by Bee's taijutsu with his sharingan on.

Gai's tiger afternoon was a surprise to kisame since he thought it was chakra based and so he wasnt really prepared to defend in a proper manner. And he doesnt have samehada which he also uses as his shield. If samehada tanked hachibi v2 form then you already know.

And so with Kisame fighting a taijutsu user like Gai or raikage it doesnt matter if he cant absorb chakra. he doesnt need to since hes already super strong and faster than you think. and use samehada as shield and he has huge jutsus to counter it and he also regenerates.

There is no way that samehada weighs 300-400 lbs. Where did you even get that from? Kisame's weakness is taijutsu because he can absord ninjutsu and possibly disrupt his chakra with samehada. From what we have seen, taijutsu doesn't need chakra, so even tho samehada can tire the opponent, physical attacks have about the same power. That is why people say that is Kisame's weakness.

Kisame's fault. He wasn't prepared. Meaning he lost fairly. You cannot say, when your life is on the line, that "you didn't expect". You are gambling your life in EVERY battle when you are fighting a skilled enemy like Gai. Meaning that if Kisame got careless, it was due to his lack of inexperience, which again, despite a thread I made a while ago, CAN and WILL come back to bite you in the ass.

Kisame would have been better off dodging, but his personality and experience was what killed him. So in all fairness (unless you, like myself, count losing Samehada which was a part of him unfair) he lost.
