I never said Kisame tried to save them you moron. I said Bee tried to save them the entire time, which is exactly what happened.

Im sorry, I know this is off topic but how the hell is kisame a better water style user.?The way I interpret is, being better means your more skillfull. People automatically think kisame is the best because of the large scale of his jutsu - thats to do with his large chakra reserve.
The 2 jutsu mei has shown so far - water encampment pillar and water dragon bullet puts her above kisame in my opinion. She was not only able to utilise those techniques in an area with no water, but they were of a large scale. Also (I'm not to sure of this) but mei was able to perform the water dragon bullet technique with minimal hand seals - exactly what tobirama did, the greatest water style user. The reason I say she used minimal seals was due to the short period of time - she used the technique immediately after using her initial technique.

I would say Mei as well for several reasons.
Firstly, Mei has Water, Earth, Fire, Boil and Lava release. Earth release naturally has a advantage over water so she has a small advantage over Kisame there. For a Kekkai Genkai to work correctly, the user needs a proficient use of the elements so it is reasonable to say she has mastered Earth and Fire tosome degree.
Also, how and why are people saying Kisame is the better Suiton user? Yes, Kisame created a water dome and a thousand sharks but they were creates all close to a nearby water source which is not an amazing feat. On the other hand, Mei created has used two Water Styles which with one able to counter Madara Uchihas Fire Style and the other able to know him back. These were both done with no nearby water source and incredibly fast with minimal hand seals which is better than what Kisame has shown.
Also, what is up with people saying Mei can't swim? Where has that been stated? Its wrong. Also, Mei has Intel on all of Kisames abilities including Samehada as she is the Mizukage and Kisame originated from the Mist.

Kisame's chakra reserves were above Nagato's - Nagato stated it - he's the best suiton user, he defeated 4 tails who specialized in this lava department, he can merge with Samhada and can replenish his ridiculous amount of chakra. How is Mei winning this? One water dome is enough to drown her, if she uses her lava technique inside it, she's done for.
okay first of all, we know that Mei and Kisame both are water style users, Kisame is gonna use water dome to begin and send millions of sharks straight to Mei...... Mei has two choices, to block by using a massive doton, or to raise from the water using her suiton and then create earth platforms above the water........ in a underwater fight I gotta agree that the sharks won't be a problem for Mei and her OWN SUITON, but Kisame is kinda fast for Mei in the underwater. Anyways, back on the earth platform part...... while being on the earth platforms above the water dome Mei will have to jump from platform to platform and send lava to the water in order to melt down the dome........ Kisame can evade lava with no problem I suppose since he is pretty fast under water.......
But there will be a moment when Samehada won't stand the heat and Kisame himself will have to go outside, where Boil release will be, obviously, Kisame will be healed by Samehada (As already seen), so the scenario of BIG WATER DOME is no big deal at all, the fight will most likely be made outside of the water (on top of it).
In my opinion, Mei wins if she keeps Kisame at bay, but if Kisame gets close to her, she done for......
