Well IDK on this one....Kisame is a master of his Samehada, a sword that's covered in sharp shark scales, and Kirabi is a master of using multiple swords simultaneously and his tailed beast, at that. I am sure that this is going to be a most interesting battle for sure.

kirabi's lightning jutsu trumps kisames water jutsu, and while samehada drains chakra, kirabi has mastered the use of his tailed beast, which is the 8-tails no less. and i doubt samehada can drain all the chakra of a tailed beast. and kirabi wont be alone he will be with the enka ninja
This seems to promise a pretty good match-up however there is also the possibility that we won't even see the fight at all and just hear about the results a few panels later. I wouldn't put it above Kishimoto to do something like that. However while it is obvious that Killer Bee has the type advantage that surely Kisame also is preparing as we never really did see his full power so we can't accurately gauge his power until we see him go all out. I am sure Kisame will go all out or face death if he holds back.

But, that's pretty tough. Although, I think I have to say Kirabi. While we don't yet know Kisame's MAXIMUM strength. We don't know Kirabi's either. And Kirabi was able to take on Team Hawk single handedly. But then again, Kisame hasn't been given a chance to show what he can do against a VERY powerful opponent, the most powerful opponents he faced were Team Gai, which is weaker than Hawk (in my belief), so we don't really have enough to base Kisame's strength on to really tell for sure.

I could be wrong... but doesn't the sword only Tear Through chakra... I don't see a mouth on the sword, so eating is out of the question... As for absorbing, never saw that happen either... Anyone have a manga page showing this?
I know that Pein used a technique to transfer 30% of Itachi and Kisame's chakra into the dead bodies of those other ninja. That being said... Gai vs Kisame (at 30%) had to release 6 of the Inner Gates (6 I believe) ...
Kirabi is lightning yes... but the 8-Tails is a water based bijuu. I believe that the closer Kisame is to water... the more potent his chakra becomes, and that water someone "replenishes" his spent chakra at a faster rate, ie faster recover period inbetween powerful techniques. This was seen in the fight vs Gai... 1 powerful jutsu after another... So his last jutsu was with about 1% of his entire chakra! Absurd I tell ya!!!
we dont know crap about kisame. besides when killer bee fought suigetsu (dude with zabuza's sword) and suigetsu merged with the water to make a wave killer bee said "your a water ninja you have an advantage here in this lake my raps suck im black bla bla bla bla bla" anyways thats not importaint what is importaint is we dont know much about kisame other than he can absorb chakra with samehade and we have seen him fight team guy at 30% chakra then we saw him fight in konoha in episode 63-66 i think. and even then itachi told him to be carful because his techniques were to big or could attract attention i believe. thats about all we know. and we have seen him fight in the video games but that doesnt mean crap... just imagine guy fight but at 100% rather than 30% and with a trump card or 2

Ok....
1. "Kisame has the largest chakra pool of all of Akatsuki" - Pein/Madara
2. Itachi told Kisame to hold off, because their mission was to "secretly" enter Konoha and kidnap Naruto. Genjutsu does not wildly release chakra, nor draw attention like a giant water dragon would.
3. Sameheda can absorb, or tear/cut through chakra? The handle of Sameheda probably reacts to the chakra that Kisame releases into it, and then his chakra is amplified by the sword. Much like Asuma's kunei, but if the kunei would change shape to match the users chakra characteristic.
4. Killer Bee was liying about how strong his opponents attacks were, in order to escape, and make it seem like Sasuke caught him... I think he was bluffing.
