Kisame vs Kakuzu

and Kisame isn't a monster? hes literally a shark-ninja hybrid xd and like chojuro (the little swordsman bodyguard) said, kisame is a special case, a bijuu without a tail, and being alive while ninja wars happen doesn't mean he actively fought in them all.

1.Kisame broke out of chakra enhanced wood AFTER getting hit with guy's #1 move, easily overpowered asuma with the tip of his sword without trying,who is a tai expert (with his knife fighting and being able to knock out sound ninja with a single blow when he saved shikamaru) personally i think they'd be matched in raw power.
2.all absorbed by Samehada and if he uses lightning while in the water dome kisame can absorb it thru his skin and kakuzu would be the only one hurt if anything.
3. didn't stop naruto xd but yes that'd be an advantage.
4.He is smarter then Kisame but kisame wasn't a total dunce either, he (with help) switched places with zetsu mid fight, faked his death and hid inside samehada, gathered info on the joint army's plan and successfully got it back to madara and if it wasn't for naruto's unique sensing of evil he probably would have jumped bee at his weakest in the war and captured him.
5.same as 1, i would say they'd be matched at raw power, if kisame doesn't overpower him.

good argument but he in my opinion would beat kisame even though this would be an epic battle of awesomeness and he too could beat asuma and any sound ninja in which the sound ninja were not that strong just a shit load of them thats all.

Kakuzu infamous fireballs wont perform well under water hello loll wind might work though but Kisame is a shark -.- the doll Kakuzu wont have a chance in water

but then again Kakuzus elements come into play but i believe samehada [check spelling] will come into play with that

The fact that it's beside a lake pretty much gives it away. Kisame no sweat. If on the other hand you took the lake out of the equation it would be a much tougher fight. We've seen Kisame pull out water from everywhere... Why give him even easier access to it?

about the chakra thing. go back to when gaara fought that one guy with the chakra absorbing armor. the sand hit the guy than just fell. so if kakauzu used a earth move the earth would hit kisame but then just crumble. and what u said about the arrow ur right it wont be absorbed but it wont have any damage because chakra is what makes it so powerful and with the chakra absorbed it will be useless. also he tricked him with afternoon tiger because kisame thought it was chakra but it wasnt which is where kisame was tricked and ended up losing... kakuzu has no chance what so ever. no matter how many hearts he has with all of his chakra gone he wont be able to move or use any moves. and with every little bit of chakra gone he will die. and if he uses another heart he wont get his chakra back. he will just die again

Kakuzu is just based on strong ninjutsu and chakra and both things are nothing before Kisame, so Kisame FTW....BTW Kisame doesn't need a lake to be good he is good own his own too, putting them near water resource means Kisame overkills Kakuzu....
Kakuzu's ninjutsu isn't much good, Kakashi's raikiri was able to stop his lightning release: false darkness and his fire release also wasn't that fearful, kisame can stop it with his water release........
Overall Kakuzu is surely a bad matchup for Kisame.....

I think Kakuzu would beat him in taijutsu kakuzu got a huge strength the same as Tsunade watch clear in the anime how his punch crush objects and Kisame's idea of killing that to abosrb chakra and let hes enemy out of breath in that huge bubble
but kakuzu cant be out of breath he is not even a human he can sqeez him also he got lighting that effect on water he can run from the bubble
I think one strong punch from kakuzu will be enought for kisame

He was using Iron hand tech based on earth style it's not his physical strength and anyhow Kisame wins this one........

kakuzu is a water element user also don't forget so the lake would also give him an advantage also. having a lake there will make no difference to either of them because he uses water style and then sum.
