kisame just might be the strongest member of akatsuki

Pain the once powerful leader of akatsuki stated he has the most chakra in akatsuki..which includes himself. MORE CAKHRA THAN PAIN..i say thats unbelieveable.
He also has the sword smadedae...which is probably the most lethal sword in in the manga.

I have a feeling we are going to see much more with kisame and how powerful he really is.

Not necessarily Pain could cause more damage than Kisame could, he did have 6 different bodys.

Now do I think that Kisame is stronger than Pain idk(or care really) but do i think he's has the potential to be stronger because of his chakra reserve yes.

Kisame made a sea/ocean around a massive desert style rocks with only 30% of his chakra, and he didn't even seem tired from using that jutsu, and he used other arrays of ninjutsu after that as well, and STILL had buttloads of chakra left to use, its just gai used 7 gates to beat him.

Kisame has tonnes more chakra than even naruto, neji said he had more than naruto, and naruto has MASSIVE chakra, more than Jiraiya and enough to learn sage mode pretty fast.

Kisame is a very strong ninja, like ive been saying when kisame said against jiraiya "oh no not a sannin" i think he was being heavily sarcastic.

I don't think he's the most powerful in akatsuki (unless kishi decides to do what he did with itachi and give him loads more weapons and defences to make him overpowered) but he's still very powerful.

What everyones gotta realise is Kisame hasn't actually used any of his advanced techniques, and his aim against gai was to slow them down too.

I'm sure kisame has a few trump card ninjutsus which will be awesome

I agree with your post accept with those parts.
Neji said he hasn't seen that much chakra since Naruto. And the amount he was using back then was probably very litlle compared to all the kyuubi's chakra. ANd the amount of chaka you have doesn't speeden the process of learning sage mode up.

Yep he did say it like that.

If kisame only had the same chakra amount as old naruto he would doubtfully be in akatsuki, considering the old naruto had lots of chakra for his age, but overall had very small chakra reserves compared to many other chuunin+ ninjas.

Nearly every standard jounin probably had more chakra (minus kyuubi) than naruto, and neji only considered non kyuubi chakra anyway from my knowledge.

Pain still had enough chakra to beat naruto even in sage mode which increases his chakra considerably (pain did beat naruto, its just naruto went 6tails and thats when pain had trouble) and pain was worn out with little chakra, and he stated kisame had more chakra than him.


Kisame definitely has more chakra than naruto, he made an ocean with less than 30% chakra, which even the 2nd hokage couldnt even dream of doing.

kisame isnt the strongest. he just has the most chakra.

i read the myth about his sword and it says it increases the amount of chakra the user has. maybe that is what kishi iwas using for inspiration


and kisame will capture the eight tails cause as we heard killa bee said shark boy had the advantage against him when he fought because sharky had water style. and we can all remember what kisame can do?

Kisame is mid-tier Akatsuki rank atm. But like other have said most chakra doesn't equal the strongest. Naruto would've been considered the strongest the moment kyuubi was sealed in him as a baby if you were going by that theory.

I never said that, nor will i.

My main point was that chakra capacity helps and allows more jutsus to be used.

For example most agree kakashi having more chakra would make him much more formidable etc etc.

More chakra = stronger is only slightly true when you consider the users jutsu.
If the user is pain for example, imagine him with little chakra, he wouldnt be able to use most of his jutsus at all and would wear out easily.

So while chakra amount doesnt have any direct indication to strength-it sure does help.

All my point was is that his chakra capacity is huger than any other character, and he has the skill to use it with deadly force.

While it is true kisame is only being sent after 8tails because everyone else is dead, that doesn't change the fact that kisame KNOWS tobi and it appears kisame is much more involved.

Tobi would not have ordered Kisame if he thought Kisame would get pwned entirely.

Kisame is most definitely more powerful than sasuke who lost to 8tails over and over again to be saved 3 times by his team-mates.
Kisame has way much more experience, strength and skill, and knowledge.

While it hasn't happened yet, its a dead cert that kishi is going to power up kisame soon.

For a start we havent seen him use any trump card jutsus, of which akatsuki usually have around 3-4 of (Deidara with molecular bombs, garuda C3, and his final garuda C4, sasori with himself, 3rd kazekage, and 100 puppets,pain with giant shinra tensei and the moon jutsu, itachi with tsukyomi, amaterasu,susanou, sword of totsuka and yatas mirror)


Akatsuki usually have a myriad of huge ass killing jutsus of tremendous power.

So far kisame has used taijutsu with skill, water prison jutsu which zabuza of standard jounin rank could do, and 5 small shark summons which didnt appear to hurt Gai much.

For him to be in akatsuki he must have way more power than that, we simply havent seen it.
Same can be said for zetsu, i reckon he is a badass fighter when it comes down to it
