Kisame Hoshigaki may actually be Stronger than Itachi Uchiha

This is a good thread, but I still have to go with Itachi being the winner. After all, Kisame did admit that Itachi was stronger than him.

It could go either way but I would give the edge to Itachi, Great Water Shark Bullet isn't going to work on Amaterasu, it appears where the user looks so the only way for Kisame to survive is make a clone and let the clone attack him with Water Shark Bullet which would hurt Kisame, and if water is able to extinguish Amaterasu why didn't Bee/Karin just go underwater for a while, not saying it is not possible but in my opinion it is unlikely but then again Kisame could make Samehada absorb it and use that water dome jutsu of his which could make him win.

I agree Kisame has a 50/50 shot at Itachi. He also has the elemental advantage as well. All he has to worry about is Tsukyomi. Itachi fanboys will not listen. Another job well done.

Kisame is stronger physically no doubt. i doubt he is overall stronger though as a ninja. he beats itachi at being a shark and being blue though. If they were to fight 10 times Kisame would have his chances at beating him eventually

Great thread, +rep. This fight could go either way. It's all about match ups, maybe kisame can beat itachi. But i think we can agree Itachi can beat more people then Kisame can, which makes him stronger per say. If that makes any sense.

I am a Kisame fan, but Kisame has no counter for Tsukuyomi. His best chances are fight with his eyes closed or looking at his feet movement.

this is a tough one.kisame can definitely stand against itachi,but i dont think he can overcome tsukuyomi.plus i am not sure if kisame`s shark bullet technique can absorb amaterasu,amaterasu may just burn through that :shrug:
