The whole village isn't necessary it's just overkill. Jman would eat Kisame. Kakashi could probably defeat Deidara now, but just to make it full proof add in sai, Kurenai,and the aburame clan and Deidara has no chance. But realistically either of them could be soloed by the right shinobi. Which the leaf just happens to possess.

Deidara doesn't fly in straight lines. You can't say that. He dodged Gaaras sand very effectively. Also it wouldn't be "toe to toe"
Deidara is the key factor here. No one can touch him except Sai. And sai is fodder compared to Deidaras attacks.
Deidara has c-8 to blast any summons Jman has away.
Deidara flies. There is no way anyone is touching or catching him. Not even Kamui. Kamui hit Deidara while he was in a straight line.
The bottom line is how many ninjas die after ocean jutsu followed by C-8.
Also if Kisame fuses with Samehada while the huge lake/small ocean is in effect no one touches him. and he summons sharks to attack everyone from beneath and Deidara attacks from the skies naturally.
Half of those people die from the first series of attacks Deidara does. Deidaras techs are perfect for mass killing.
It's foolish to think the Aburame clan will survive after a flood, and a series of devastating explosions.

you asume all that happens from what intel kakashi would have he would take out deidara with his ms and ya he can with little dif due to his talents as far as the water gai lee neji ten ten adn jman stop that from happning with the consent combat

Except when an attack is coming directly for him... he does fly in straight lines and kamui is impossible to see and he'd have to spot Kakashi to know it was coming. And Kakashi can fire it pretty rapidly as seen with the Susanoo arrow and the nail pain sent.
Sai can give every shinobi a bird to fly on.... So know he's actually very useful. And with that Deidara could be caught in genjutsu which as we saw when he went against Itachi he doesn't even realize he's in and can be forced to attack himself. Furthermore with the Aburame clan on birds their bugs can fly anyway but they can just attack Deidara directly and eat his chakra or diffuse his bombs. Plus any lightning based attacks would render the bombs duds. Deidara can't blast Ma and Pa away. Which while attacking, Goemon would also dry the village. And if the bomb went off while the village was submerged the village would be protected from the majority of the damage due to the water. After the ocean jutsu no one dies as Jiraiya and Gamabunta and Asuma and Kakashi could counter it with fire techniques.
Once again the lake will be dried up using fire. I mean really this team has 0 chance of winning.
You guys forget that with one explosion ALL of those ninjas will die. Kakashi is the only one that can counter that.

Do you know how much water comes out of that? Kisame has more chakra than all of those guys. Imagine if he pumped more chakra into that ocean jutsu. He was at 30% chakra when he fought Gai and after he used that ocean jutsu he was STILL using jutsu.

No.... the Aburame clan could counter it and let's not forget that Deidara's large scale attacks take time. Enough time to counter. C4 while in giant form is counterable in theory by a large lightning technique. Kamui (if Kakashi can Kamui a Susanoo Arrow he should be able to Kamui away Deidara's clone) and If a swarm of chakra eating bugs eat before it blows it becomes a giant dud. C0 is even easier to counter because it starts off as much smaller. C3 is done away by lightning. And let's not forget Deidara's clay is finite and he doesn't have the clay to make all his heavy hitters. In addition his heavy hitters use up a lot of chakra so if their nullified he's screwed. Yes Sai would have to control the birds but if he's not chasing diedara himself he's more than capable. And how exactly will Deidara guard against genjutsu? What about when he's constantly being attacked. What happens if he flies through Shizune's poisoned fog (as he gets forced by other shinobi directly into the cloud of poison for instance Yamato's wood can be used as a long ranged attack also Tsunade could through rocks.) or gets hit by her poisoned senbon. If Gai or Lee's bird flies next to him he has no technique he can release before they beat him to a bloody pulp. Sorry his flight doesn't grant him much here. And his ability is easily countered.

There are no lightning users besides Kakashi and his stamina is wack.
The bugs before it explodes? The bugs drown. Bugs don't mix with water. Kisame is still in this fight. He has 1000 sharks to deal with EVERYONE. WHILE Deidara uses his bombs.
Your basing the counter on Sais birds letting everyone fly? As soon as they would start "flying" Deidara has PLENTY of homing clay birds to take them down and kill all of them. Sai has to control each one which is a tough task he isn't Kabuto. He would send them in a straight line to their deaths.

Firstly Kisame is not in this fight. He lost to Jiraiya. Period.Or he loses to Gai... which ever you prefer... And should we leave that attack you proposed in place as soon as Deidara's attack ( C3 or C4) touch the water if a current goes through it the entire attack is useless. But that won't be necessary. Sai has shown that his animals can maneuver. Furthermore we haven't seen his limit. So how can you say which certainty that he can't control of his animals. And when he draws mice and they spy ahead. He's not watching with them. He gives them a purpose and they come back after achieving it.
It takes time to summon.. It doesn't take long for Kisame to use the jutsu and Deidara to attack the toad.
