Kisame and Itachi vs 6 Paths of Pain

It'd be an amazing battle indeed. Very even. 50/50 for me.

Pain can win, but it’s not going to be a neg.

Itachi is the main problem:
- Human path won’t be able to touch Itachi and therefore won’t be able to take his soul.
-The Naraka Path won’t be able to touch Itachi, so he won’t be able to snatch his tongue/kill him.
-The Animal Path’s summonings have the best chance, however Amaterasu can neg them. The bird summon is the best in this scenario though, it can avoid Amaterasu. The chameleon also, but it can’t take flight.

Itachi’s scattered Amaterasu rain is avoidable by the aforementioned bird Summon, Plus an entire strategy can be formulated to combat that. I could go into further detail but I won’t right now.

The other Paths of Pain have the best chances of defeating Itachi...not that Kisame is a non-factor or anything but ya know.
But Pain can win, it won’t be easy though.

Lol how? Deva can't bypass Susanoo unless he goes for a full scale ST which wont be a surprise since the other paths have to go down first so it will give Itachi and Kisam time to prepare for it. CT gets taken out via GSB. Animal path summonings gets shit on via amaterasu and Totsuka. Pretabgets taken out via fire kunai combo. Machine path is nearly useless here and so is Natalia path.

Shuriken jutsu already solos most Pein heavy hitters like animals and soul snagger with baby burst of amaterasu for the doggo gg as seen in Canon.

Plus using Kabuto's remote usage of ST to stave off Edo Nagato's negdiff by amaterasu is laughable...

Duo wins, even without a counter to CT Pain just isn't cutting it (Nagato probably solo's though).

Kisame literally has a doton that turns rock/debris/ground into liquid allowing him to swim through it, if he merges with samehada theoretically he could absorb CT but I don't think it would ever come to that tbh. Kisame > Preta path and with Itachi they can beat Deva.

Not happening. 6 paths wreck this duo. Itachi's strongest defense (V4 Susanoo w/ Yata) is busted open with CST, or he is simply outlasted until he can no longer hold it up (which he will be forced to do, in order to protect himself and Kisame from constant attacks). He won't be able to effectively use Amaterasu or Tsukuyomi against the Pains while he's also using one of his higher Susanoo forms. Bansho tenin may also be able to effectively yank Itachi out of Susanoo (the same way Gaara's sand yanked Madara out of Susanoo). Kisame's water dome is useless, as it gets popped with a Shinra Tensei; GSB can be blocked with Shinra Tensei or an animal summon, or absorbed by Preta. They also have no counter to CT. Kisame's merging-with-earth Doton is not high level enough to withstand the pressure of all the rocks that the CT core attracts, plus that Doton has only been shown to work on the earth, not a Chibaku tensei moon that's made out of thousands of boulders.

@ bold text: Wrong, if Yata Mirror works as it’s hyped, then CST is actually deflected back at the Paths of Pain. Shinra Tensei has already been deflected back at Pain in the canon, and not even by a magical spiritual mirror, but by rage Naruto’s body itself:

Itachi can also scatter Amaterasu like rain and have it automatically target enemies, as seen after his death where his Amaterasu automatically scattered and killed all of Orochimaru’s snakes. Itachi‘s counter for Bansho is having his Susano’o grab him as he’s being pulled away.

Amaterasu.... People constantly forget that inorder for 6 path of Pain to use CT the other paths must be deactivated AND Deva needs time to prep it.

Stop mixing Nagato feats with 6 path of pain feats. Nagato is much stronger than 6 paths of pain.

One could also argue that if 6 path of pain require chakra to control Kisame could shut them all off with GSB IF Deva doesn't counter it.
