Description: Vinea transforms into a trident (7' 0") which is characterized by the hardness of diamond and its at-will extensibility. When Vinea is transformed into the Adamantine Trident, it is possible for her to have her ears, eyes, and mouth appear anywhere along its metallic length. A highly sophisticated weapon, its at-will transformation-based attack and defense go beyond the scope of proficiency, to attain immense fluidity and great lethality. The main method of offense consists of the wielder making powerful stabs and thrusts that take advantage of its ability to extend. In addition, the trident has to the capacity to generate modest quantities of water for certain moves. Lastly, it's durability is of such a high caliber, that it is widely considered indestructible.

The following moves are possible water-based attacks via the trident. When the trident is slammed, prongs first into the ground in the immediate vicinity of the wielder, a large body of water may begin to form from water in the ground. Should an opponent be impaled upon the trident, a highly dense sphere of water may form around their person, to restrict their movements and breathing. From the trident, a very thin stream of pressurized water (capable of easily cutting stone) may also be released, with a trajectory dependent on how the trident is swung.

Note: This may only be used by Vinea of the monkeys, and she may not use other techniques throughout it.
Note: It can extend as far and as quickly as Enma can whilst he is transformed into the Adamantine Staff.
Note: Entire turns in which Vinea maintains this form will not count towards the turns he can stay on the field.

Mirko Sat upon the rocky terrain on top of a protruding rock by the river, a fishing rod was stuck into the rocky surface with the line resting peacefully in the water, she sat upon this rock waiting patiently, cross legged in a meditation form, it was then that she heard the faint movement of rocks beneath someone's feet, she quickly performed the necessary hand-seals activating her Byakugan, her sight increased threefold and within the distance she was able to see a young man seemingly approaching.. she stood by waiting to see his intentions, Vinea sat neatly upon her back.

Description: The kekkei genkai intrinsic to both the Hyūga and Ōtsutsuki clans—descendants of Kaguya Ōtsutsuki. Those who possess this dōjutsu have it manifested as eyes with featureless white irides and no visible pupils. And when activated, the pupils become more distinct and the veins near their temples bulge. To activate the dōjutsu, Hyuga but not Ōtsutsuki clan members are initially obliged to use a rather long and specific sequence of handseals: Horse → Tiger → Boar → Hare → Rat → Dog → Horse → Dog → Hare → Rat → Boar → Snake. But once activated, the dōjutsu user is endowed with a range of skills.

To start, an activated Byakugan gives the user a near 360º diameter field of vision bar one blind spot at the back of the neck, above the first thoracic vertebra. Its vision can penetrate through any solid objects or obstructions, and likewise remains unaffected by blinding interferences. But that being said, certain barriers and the like may distort its perception. In addition, it is able to follow high-speed movements, which enables those with this dōjutsu to analyze their foes' actions and better react to them. The Byakugan is also able to see chakra to a higher degree than the Sharingan and ergo, identify where a person's chakra signature originates from. Beyond that, it can discern certain types of clones from the real person. And its ability to see chakra is in fact so acute that those who possess this dōjutsu are even able to see the chakra pathway system and the 361 tenketsu that comprise it. The Hyūga clan has gone so far as to develop their unique Gentle Fist style in order to capitalize on this particular ability.

Note: Hyuga clan bios of at least Jonin rank become able to passively activate their dōjutsu upon one month having passed since Gentle Fist training concluded. Ōtsutsuki bios never need to expend a move in order to activate it.
Note: While traversing the NW, bios with activated Byakugan are able to see up to two 2 adjacent landmarks away while those of sage rank can see as far as three away, but this doesn't extend beyond an ocean landmark.

Mirko shouted out towards the young man, she was not keen on the idea of someone taking her monopoly over this fishing spot, she quite enjoyed the fish she caught here, it would be a shame if too many people were to learn of this place, still she readied herself chakra galvanised as she performed a single hand-seal, this hand-seal was more to look as if she was readying herself for combat, however unbeknown to her opponent she would channel her gunpower chakra into 3 mines that existed beneath and around him, should he be careless, the resulting explosion would end his life today..

Description: The Fragmentation Mine Technique is a very unique technique where the user will channel his gunpowder chakra through the earth performing one hand seal, creating a field, which has the enemy as the epicentre, where the entire ground beneath the surface turns into a unique mine made of gunpowder, however this does not change or make the ground shift or shake in anyway, meaning there would be no feeling of change on the surface, where any sort of change in pressure on the ground will cause an explode. This meaning if the person moves as much as lifting a foot, or shifting his weight and balance, it would detonate as it would change the pressure as well as create friction beneath the surface, causing the sparks that would ignite and cause the explosion. As such this area which covers a field of up to mid-range from the enemy will make an explosion of fragments. The explosion itself is an upwards explosion that happens immediately as the pressure changes, creating a massive upwards explosion of earth and rock fragments combined with forceful shockwave from the explosion itself, tearing through bones, flesh, metals and everything due to the explosion and the shockwave caused by the initial blast, this shockwave would travel 15m upwards containing no chakra, throwing everything above the detonation into the air carrying the full damage of this technique's chose rank. This technique can be used as one large Fragmentation Mine (S-rank version), or as three separate Fragmentation Mines which are spread out anywhere on the field of the users choosing (A-rank, with each of the three fields gathering up to A-rank). When it is the A-rank version of the technique the three different mines covers a short range around them on the field each. The sheer force of the explosion would be able to rip through A/S-rank metals respectfully to the rank used of this technique. Additionally, with a single hand seal, the user can cause any of the mines to explode by creating a spark within the gunpowder passively detonating the gunpowder.

- The S-rank version of the technique can be performed twice per match
- Must have a 2 turn cooldown between each use, when using the S-rank version
- The A-rank version may be performed three times per match
- The user can cause the Fragmentation Mine(s) to explode with a single hand seal and a move cost

Natsu strolled over the rocky terrain meeting some weirdo just hanging out around here. The hell were they doing in these lands? Who cared. Igneel soared around in the skies above, hidden within the clouds, leaving this to Natsu for now. Natsu's hood cast a shadow over his face but as he looked on he could see his opponents eyes changing as they did some handseals. Why were their eyes so veiny? He tilted his head to the side confused. He saw his foe take a battle stance and that's when the smile crossed his face. This one wanted a fight.

Natsu cracked his knuckles and his neck getting ready for a good old fashioned fight. As he went to move, through his YY sensory he could sense the chakra below him formed around him. A tricky bastards to be sure. Well it was time to teach them a little thing or two. Natsu stepped forwards but as he did he turned his body to smoke. While retaining his form from a physical aspect, it allowed him to walk forth as the blasts went off, leaving him completely unharmed as he then began to sprint towards his opponent.

He leapt through the air, reforming his body, ending his smoke technique bringing his right leg around aiming to kick his opponent in their stupid head with a flying roundhouse kick.

Description: A technique very much similar to the Hozuki Clan's Hydrification Technique, the user is able to transform themselves into a smoke-like state by channeling chakra throughout their body. In this form, the user becomes immune to all Taijutsu, Kenjutsu, and gas-related techniques unless they are elementally based. They can also manipulate the appropriate chakra for smoke, fire, and any of their own gas-related techniques. The user has complete control over the density of their smoke-like state, allowing them to solidify up to two appendages at once in order to wield standard shinobi tools for freeform combat and basic Ninjutsu/Kenjutsu purposes. This also allows them to use their own body as a source for smoke ninjutsu. However, the user is subject to smoke's weaknesses and strengths. A simple B-Rank Wind jutsu can knock them out of this form, forcing them back to their original body for sometime before they are able to transform themselves once again. As such, this technique forces the user to employ careful, yet effective strategies when it is in effect.
Note: User may not use any subsequent speed boost in this form and will stay rooted to the ground.
Note: If knocked out of this form, user may not return to it for two turns.

Mirko was ready, unfortunately she was not expecting as her opponent were to move forward he would take on a smoke like apparition, her explosions which you would think would disperse the smoke did nothing at all, Mirko furrowed her brow slightly, this did not please her at all.. she channelled wind chakra throughout her chakra system, Mirko could see the changes in her opponents chakra system so she wasn't overly surprised by the young mans actions, merely his method.
Seeing the young man move toward her, his intentions were clear, he favoured close range, this did not bother Mirko one bit, she could have taken the chance to blow her opponents smoke like body back but this was not Mirko's way of doing things, Mirko would in fact take her own combat stance, shifting her left leg backwards and slightly lowering her centre of gravity, as her opponent got in close he attempted to deliver a kick to her head, Mirko entered a drunken like haze, as the kick came through she stumbled backwards, arching her back avoiding the kick, however whiles her opponent's kick was still passing where here head had just been, her spine once again straightened up and she delivered a series of fast punches to her opponents nether region, Mirko always wanted a punching bag, albeit this one was a little small, but a punch bag was a punch bag no less.

Natsu leapt through the air aiming to kick his foe in their stupid face, but somehow the dumbass fell down. Drawing his leg in as his opponent falls, Natsu pivots his body mid air, drawing his legs around so he turns his body horizontal so that his right side is facing down towards his foe. In the same motion, he brings his left hand to his right as he points his right elbow downward bringing it down on his foe as their rise back up, driving the elbow into their fist as this aim to punch him, breaking their hand. This all happening in one swift motion as his foe falls back and rises:

Seeing how her opponent's body weight and direction was shifting as she herself was realigning her body to attack it seemed her opponent had thought to counter her strikes with an elbow strike, a suitable counter however Mirko would simply open her clenched fist, adjusting to a palm strike, using her byakugan she was able to precisely pinpoint her enemies vital point, as she opened her palm she stopped her strike just short of her opponents elbow strike and aimed past the elbow towards the solar plexus, aimed more towards the lungs, her palm released an intense pressure like a vacuum, this pressure would strike the intended area and propel her opponent into the air, it wouldn't be until the opponent was in the air that he would even notice he was hit.

In order to attain more power and range (S-rank) then a variation of this, Eight Trigrams Vacuum Palm Wall, necessitates that both hands are used. In this case, a more potent wave of compressed chakra is released with great force from both palms, simultaneously. And the result from this can be increased damage to not only the foe's targeted organs and soft tissue but also their hard tissue (e.g., bones). Of course, this variation has sufficient force to send a foe careening as far as five meters.

As Natsu turned his body in the air aiming to drive his elbow down, he could sense the build up of chakra within his foe's hand. The strike that was originally coming being empowered, Natsu didn't wanna get caught out by that crap. As he turned to bring his elbow down, Natsu let go of his right hand with his left hand, bringing it around to the side of his opponent's hand as it was being thrust forward, slapping the wrist of the hand coming towards him, knocking it to the side slightly, throwing off it's trajectory so the vacuum palm misses Natsu's body my a fraction. With the slap making contact, with his left hand, as it's knock is done, he grips hold of his foe's left wrist with his left hand.

At the exact same time of the slap, Natsu is bringing his left leg around, his left knee charged with earth chakra driving it down and into his foe's stomach. This is happening at the same time as the slap. With the slap knocking the hand, the wrist is grabbed to pull his foe in and stop them avoiding his strike. It would pull his foe off balance and being him down towards them as they were currently still below him from falling backwards prior.

Mirko's left palm strike was about to hit true when she noticed her opponents movements change, her opponent attempted to slap the side of her wrist, Mirko was not inexperienced, she knew her opponent was attempting to knock her attack off course, in fact Mirko was not bothered one bit by this, in fact this would be an opportunity.

As her opponents slapped her left wrist using his own left palm, Mirko, upon feeling the slight contact would quickly collapse her arm reducing any damage from the slap to negligible proportions by simply bending her elbow and withdrawing her palm back towards her chest whiles following the same direction and motion as the slap and reinforcing her left palm with her right hand, during this motion of withdrawing her palm, Mirko would simultaneously begin driving through her elbow on the outside of her opponents arm, aiming a left elbow strike towards her opponents temporal fossa, by the time the strike would reach the targeted area it would be sufficiently reinforced.

During this motion Mirko would extend her legs more pushing of the floor but remaining rooted so to allow herself the distance necessary to make the strike and the momentum of her driving force would make her attack even more unexpected, the elbow strike would be coming from the outside of the opponents left arm, this made it difficult for them to counter especially due to the nature of the attack, his opponents limb would continue to be in motion and her strike being on the outside of the arm made it difficult for him to move it outwards, who would expect for her to continue an attack with the same limb after they believed to have blocked it.

Being in such an intense encounter, up close with an enemy in the fury of battle left Natsu's heart burning with excitement. He loved the thrill of exchanging blows with any foe but this one was different, their attacks fine tuned to counter his every movement. He couldn't help but grin through the thrill of battle. He didn't want to avoid the strike coming around, he wanted to embrace it. The strike struck his skull with a tremendous force, splitting the skin, knocking his head around and causing blood to now poor down the side of his face. It was as though everything was still for a moment, the smile removed from his face it's knocked around, though only momentarily. His foe would feel the muscles in Natsu's head tense, not through frustration but through the grin encompassing his face as he turned it back towards his foe, the blood dripping.

As he turned his head back, Natsu's eyes now changed, the no longer showed his natural blue tint, instead revealing what appeared to be the depths of the universe itself, taking the form of the Abyssal Eyes, those that could harness the power of the void itself. Their eyes locked as his foe would be forced to see the depths of the void itself through their visual connection. Their white eyes though all seeing would not be ready for this. Their mind trying to comprehend the depths of the void hidden within Natsu's eyes would shake their very sanity itself. Though this was not the only concern for his foe to be had in the moment.

As Natsu turned his face back, their eyes locked and his foe's very being questioning itself, he brought his right hand up is a powerful rising uppercut driving his right fist up between his foes locked hands and their chest, striking their chin in a devastating blow. Though this was no simple strike. As he struck out with his dragon like fury, his body, his fist, his very being glowed with a golden fiery aura powering his strike. This blow came thrice as fast as any blow Natsu had done thus far as his fashion to fight began to reveal itself. This rising uppercut would strike his foe's chin, sending them sliding along the ground creating a 5m gap between them and Natsu landed in a kneeling position. Lifting his head to look at his foe, he wiped the blood from his brow, a grin of his face, he spoke for the first time.

"I'm getting alllll fired up.....!"

Description: The Shinkaigan (深海), or the Abyssal Eyes and the Eyes of the Abyss, is the Dōjutsu Kekkei Genkai that appears in the Voidseers. Two conditions must be met to awaken the Shinkaigan. The first is that one must become Void-touched; this is achieved when one becomes Void-touched. The second is by gaining sufficient knowledge of the Shinkaigan and the Voidseer’s innate abilities. This is a key characteristic of the Shinkaigan, noted by Solomon to be “eyes of knowledge” rather than “eyes of trauma,” making it distinct from the Sharingan. The Shinkaigan possesses a unique connection to the Void itself. Its abilities exist in both space and time separately. This comes to be because the Void exists both as a separate dimension and a state in time. Rewinding the clocks far enough would cause everything in the universe to eventually converge onto the Void. The Shinkaigan is the only way one can view the Void directly, peering into it to gain intimate knowledge of the inner workings of the universe as it is today. Without the Shinkaigan exposure to the Void and Shinkaigan Dōjutsu causes one to lose Sanity; though, like a double-edged sword, the Shinkaigan user also suffers a loss of Sanity. But because their eye allows them to perceive and cognize the Void differently from other humans, they lose Sanity at a slower rate. In the left eye the Shinkaigan allows the user to visually perceive lifeforce and lifecycles of anything, including inanimate objects. It derives this ocular power through the nature of the Void itself. Mirko's elbow slammed into her opponent, dealing a devastating blow, her opponent's blood flung into the distance, during this brief moment of contact however she felt the tension in her opponents face, his muscles galvanised and she could see what seemed like a smile, observing the opponents chakra system it was obvious that the chakra now extended towards their eyes also, a Doujutsu? she thought, nevertheless she was prepared, until her opponent turned his head back round, eye contact was made and all Mirko could see was the endless abyss, just like how if someone looked in her eyes all they would see would be an endless void of white, they seemed to almost be two sides of the same coin but Mirko could tell that this was different..

Mirko's eye's were well attuned, she watched as her opponent became wreathed in flames, his speed shot up in an instant as he spun and came through with an uppercut, the strike broken through her guard and continued upwards, Mirko could see the motion but couldn't avoid it with her current speed, Mirko would instead allow herself to take the hit as she clenched her jaw tightly, whiles doing so she would burst chakra throughout her system and cloak herself in an ethereal shroud of chakra, a visor would develop over her face and lines of chakra would begin to spread, the hit landed, it sent her flying backwards slightly, Mirko would perform a backwards somersault as she landed back on her feet as they stopped her from moving too far back.

Description: By taking a stance and channeling copious amounts of chakra while drawing in natural energy into their blade, the user enters a swordsmen state known as Dokkodo or the Alone Way. The chakra creates several markings across the user's lower jaw and neck, extending down both arms to fully cover the forearms and arms in scale-like platings as a chakra shroud that grants a large Vizard-like mask across their faces. The general appearance differs from user to user but these traits are shared. After activation, the user gains access to the exclusive art of Senjutsu utilized via Kenjutsu in two unique forms. The first form allows the user's techniques to carry the ability to cause a foe to become petrified 3 turns after being cut, the wound drawing in natural energy and prevents passive healing until healed by outside sources or the target is petrified, whichever comes sooner. The second form allows for techniques to carry the ability to corrode techniques and targets resistances, eating away at natural defenses when striking targets to weaken and prevent natural damage resistances. Should targets be hit by the corrosive Senkenjutsu, they will take the listed damage of the technique. In addition to this, when techniques land, the amount of chakra spent will be deducted from the object's damage resistance capabilities to cause it to plummet ( i.e. if an A rank Kenjutsu was used and lands and the target can shave 20 damage, 15 ( half of 30 chakra ) of it will be removed to leave 5 Damage Shaving ). Should their damage resistance drop to 0, it will remain there until being healed by outside sources.
Note: Can only be used 3 times each battle, each use lasting up to 8 turns. After ending, the user cannot use A rank and above physical techniques ( Tai/Ken, Jutsu with extended/detailed physical movements, etc ) for two turns and the effects of the 20% Torso Health drawbacks trigger. Each subsequent use adds 10% to the Torso Health drawbacks.
Note: Samurai and Ronin are capable of using Dokkodo techniques without entering the state though if they do, they experience a 10 damage increase compared to shinobi using the mode.

She gently rubbed her chin, the blow itself wasn't overly powerful, but it had been a while since someone had sufficiently landed a physical blow on her, a grin stretched across her face as a trail of blood slightly escaped the corner of her mouth, of course due to the visor there was no telling if her opponent could see this wide grin.. or the blood flowing from it

His blow struck true forcing his foe from him, landing looking on reading for their conflict to ensue once more, though he notice a distinct change. He felt it though his YY sensory, feeling the change in his foe's very being as the mask formed over their face as a clear sign of what was to come. Well if his foe was going to bring the pain, he would have to respond in kind. The blood wiped from his face, as his foe activated their mode he would look on at it and read it, seeing what he was facing as his eyes that perceived the void would allow him to understand. Gazing, he read the life cycle of the state his foe was in understand how long his foe would be empowered for. He could see the duration of his foe's empowered state and knew what he was getting himself in for. He thought for a second, though it wasn't time to use the flames of emotion. He had his speed, he would rely on that alone.

It would seem, as he could track his foe's very movements, his body wasn't quite as agile as the one that now stood before him. His masked foe would launch forwards to re engage Natsu in a pursuit of intense combat. Thanks to his physical tracking he could time his next counter attack perfectly right, using his opponent's momentum against them. As his foe advanced he would time it so that as his foe was about to make contact he was doing two things in tandem. He wold bring his right hand around in a right hook form of strike. This may have seemed odd as a short range attack though this wasn't meant to be his only movement. As he brought his right hand around, before his foe's strike could land he used his half step technique, using precise chakra control to do a half step to his right side turning his body, going to the outside of his foe's strike before it can land. Though with this, his right hook would land striking the back of his foe's head as their momentum carried them past Natsu.

"Remember this dumbass!"

While this does not confer upon the user the ability to manipulate the duration of those techniques, though it exists in advanced applications, it does allow them to visually understand the duration of any active mode present on their target. This technique is activated instantly, costing a move but not occupying a slot in the timeframe, and lasts for four turns. It can be activated three times per battle.

As Mirko approached with her strike it was evident her opponent was already preparing his motions, as she performed her palm strike, her opponent seemed to step to the outside, avoiding her blow, Mirko however was not worried, she expected this outcome, meanwhile with her byakugan's sight active she would be able to perceive the incoming attack from behind her, just as swiftly, she would duck downwards, performing a sweeping kick whiles simultaneously dodging the incoming punch from behind, her attack would be fast and precise, sweeping her opponents legs leading with her right leg and striking with the front part instead of the back, she would continue the spinning momentum round in the same direction, this time attacking with the left leg striking the floating ribs with the back of her heel this time, causing a severe pain to spread throughout his abdominals, next came a higher kick to the head once again leading with her right leg and leading with the front of the foot, after striking she would then jump slightly and twist her body bringing her other leg back round and over her opponents head to perform a dropping axe kick leading with the heel towards the crown of her opponents head, smashing his head and directly driving his face into the ground below leaving an indent in the rocky terrain beneath

"Too slow Dipshit!"

Mirko's grin was wide and her eyes seemed to possess insanity, as she was overcome by the sheer excitement and blood boiling action of the fight

As he saw his foe avoid his attack, Natsu's innate reactions kicked in as he triggered his seal on his body that formed a barrier around him. With his foe's speed being counteracted by the barrier itself, before his foe could bring his leg around completely to take his legs he would be held in place as the barrier took the form of a none Newtonian fluid, binding them in place, preventing their movement. With this his foe would be held in stasis not capable of making the kick to attack Natsu. It was a underhanded trick to be certain but Natsu simply found it funny in the heat of battle.

In the recent months, he'd felt something within him that left him feeling different, strange, not quite himself as he traversed the world. Part of him which he didn't truly understand seemed to take control at times in the midst of battle, causing actions such as this. Though this was not something that was suited to him. As the barrier too effect Natsu was already tracking and taking action based on his foe dipping under his attack. In the same time frame as the barrier activating, Natsu brought his hand down at an angle, striking his foe in the face as they went towards the ground for their combo. Something within Natsu crept up to the surface, the grin on his face not currently due to the excitement of battle, but the thrill of hurting the one before him. Something with him was looking to make this one suffer and he wasn't sure he was in complete control.

Description: The user can start with this seal on themselves or one of their weapons, or even place it on a weapon in battle. The placing of the seal is passive. The user can activate the seal at any time. This seal effects a yin barrier around the user 5m in all directions. Due to its Yin properties, it can't be seen, taking on similar traits as the "Hands of the sloth" technique. Those with Yin, Yin/Yang can see/sense this. This barrier infuses the area within with its Yin properties, making it so area takes on the properties of a non-Newtonian fluid when coming into contact with a foreign chakra. What this means is the faster something enters the barrier, the more the space/air/water etc within, becomes solid. This does not affect the users summons/paths/creations etc. In RP terms, this barrier will bind anyone/anything that enters it, like a solidified jelly holding them in place, making it impossible for them to force their way through. Wherever the seal is, that's where the centre of the barrier is. This barrier lasts for 4 turns and can only be used twice per battle, with a two turn cool down between usages.

Natsu aimed to strike his bound foe as something rang within him. What was this? He wasn't sure, though something called to him. A voice? No it wasn't words. A darkness, something began spreading through him, echoing in his very being, reverberating like a chorus of demonic voices, growing louder and louder. His heart beat drummed, not faster, but louder, slowly, a beat at a time thumbing through his very being. Something within spread, consuming him. What ever the power was that bound his foe was of the same origin. Lost to the voice within a series of things happened at once as the blades manifested from his foe.

The strikes from his foe would find no home as Natsu's being burst into a field of molten darkness as smoke covered everything without warning, scolding his foe, consuming them in the pyroclastic shroud surrounding the area all around mid range. Natsu used this as a distraction to avoid his foe reforming kneeling before them looking them in the eyes. Their sanity to capable of withstanding the connection to the void as they lost 5 more sanity on top of the damage consuming them.

"Who... am.... I....?"

A voice spoke from Natsu. This wasn't his, it was a demonic confused voice.

The smoke which covers the entire battlefield, is thick and restricts people's visual prowess, while also making it difficult to breath [Those who stay within the smoke suffocates within two turns, passing out]. The user can use this as they turn their body to smoke or once they are already in that form.

Additionally, as the smoke body and the outwards burst of smoke to cover the field happens, the user is capable of moving through the smoke, allowing themselves to hide and move freely, to evade incoming attacks, by still being in smoke form. The user can use this to travel up to mid range in any direction. The user can retain their body of smoke form after using this or reform at an time.

In this form, the user becomes immune to all Taijutsu, Kenjutsu, and gas-related techniques unless they are elementally based. They can also manipulate the appropriate chakra for smoke, fire, and any of their own gas-related techniques. The user has complete control over the density of their smoke-like state, allowing them to solidify up to two appendages at once in order to wield standard shinobi tools for freeform combat and basic Ninjutsu/Kenjutsu purposes. This also allows them to use their own body as a source for smoke ninjutsu. However, the user is subject to smoke's weaknesses and strengths. A simple B-Rank Wind jutsu can knock them out of this form, forcing them back to their original body for sometime before they are able to transform themselves once again. As such, this technique forces the user to employ careful, yet effective strategies when it is in effect.

Mirko despite being bound in place was still able to see everything happening around her, she took note of the chakra changes happening within her opponent, she galvanised her chakra moulding it into that of water, she channelled her water chakra through her mouth releasing a torrent of water blocking off her opponent and his ashen like form and the wave and force of the water pushing her outwards away, releasing her from the zone which bound her movements.

Consumed by the voices within, Natsu's being erupted into a smoldering ash inferno aiming to engulf his foe and the entire area around him. Before the wave of smoking ash could wash of his foe a wall of water formed pushing the smoke, ash and Natsu backwards away from everything. This carried Natsu to mid range in his smoke form before he returned to his normal form. The seal he used, now ended. He tried to shake the voices from his head but something called to him and he wasn't sure what it was. The voices echoed in his head though growing more distant allowing him to regain his focus. He couldn't lose control in the fight like that again, though he didn't know how to stop it, feeling like he was being consumed from within.

"Natsu....!"

A voice reverberated through his entire being, one unlike those before. It was Igneel flying in the skies above. His voice resonating power and reassurance through Natsu. This was more than enough for Natsu to regain his bearings, grounding him here and now. Regaining his bearings, Natsu jumped to the side going forwards using his free form dodge, avoiding the strike with ease looking to close the gap once more. Bringing his hands together, Natsu stopped and made a single seal, it was time to demonstrate a portion of his real dragon slayer fighting style. With that he released an intense inferno from his mount, that drastically increased in size engulfing everything before him. His affinity for fight improving the initial damage of the technique but he wanted it to be stronger. Within the same time frame he infused it with even more chakra to make the attack even larger.

Though this intense wall of flames was daunting, it was the additional affects that made it a true devasting attack. First off, by releasing the flames, it would be like a flashbang going off to his foe, blinding them upon its release. Secondly this attack would be infused with the appetite of a dragon itself, the hungry ghost technique. A dragon is known for it's large appetite and greed, this infusion reflecting that. The hungry ghost sought to consume parts of techniques and the chakra of those it hunts down. Now because the true measure of a man's ability to battle falls down to the rule of cool. Natsu's jutsu has a magic circle formed as it's released, for no other reason that to be thematically lit.

Description: This technique is a form of basic shape manipulation applied when the user uses an elemental technique. It is thus used in the same timeframe as the technique it is affecting, and costs 5 additional chakra points to use this with another technique. When the user performs an elemental technique, through shape manipulation, the point of origin of the technique will form a Magic Circle made of that chosen element, almost looking like the formula of a Fuinjutsu technique. This in no way adds any power, or change the Jutsu in any way, not does it create any defensive properties, it is purely cosmetic. For example, if the user released a stream of fire from their mouth, the fire will draw an extra 5 chakra from the user and form into a circle in front of their mouth that is red in color, not burning the user, nor providing any additional effects. If the jutsu were to come from the ground, as the jutsu shoots up, the circle would form on the ground, etc. This is a passive jutsu and acts in the same time frame as another technique. Once activated it remains active as long as the user fuels the 5 chakra necessary into each of their jutsu.

When using an elemental jutsu, the user will form the ram hand seal to seal the hungry ghost within their technique. Sealing the hungry ghost inside one’s technique happens within the same timeframe as their elemental technique. When the user’s technique clashes with another technique, the parasitic Yin Chakra will eat away at the chakra within the technique, weakening it by one rank. Once the hungry ghost consumes foreign chakra it is released and immediately attaches itself to the source of the foreign chakra (the opponent). From there, the parasite continues to eat away at the enemy’s chakra every time they use techniques (all techniques reduce in rank and power by 1 degree). Once the Hungry Ghost is released, its tether is immediate and cannot be blocked or circumvented by ordinary means. The effects of Hungry Ghost last for 4 turns.

Natsu released his blast of fire the wash over the mass of terrain, demonstrating a fraction of his abilities. He could feel the build up of chakra in his foe from the distant at they initiated the rotation. As the chakra expanded through his fire, Natsu was able to see the technique and through his Shinkaigan, able to see the full life cycle of the technique. With his temporal eyes, he focussed on the expanding chakra as it's enveloped in a purple energy, consuming it and reducing it to nothingness, completing it's cycle. Through doing this though, his foe would bare witness to the power of the eternal void, unable to comprehend it's vastness, succumbing to even further sanity loss. Natsu stood unharmed, ending his foe's technique before it reached him as they come to terms with their own sanity.

His fire might not have landed, but his ghost had consumed part of his foe's chakra, latching onto them and draining their power. Natsu stood looking on at his foe, several meters from them now, within short range, waiting to see how they come to terms with the power of the void itself. Holding up his hand he released several explosive orbs aimed at the ground all around his foe to see how they react.

(Dōjutsu: Ashi Numachi) – Eye Technique: Reed Marsh

Description: Reed Marsh is the Shinkaigan’s basic temporal ability, used by the left eye, and is able to perceive and manipulate the lifecycle of what its gaze is set upon. The technique at a basic level invokes the Shinkaigan’s special precognitive ability; more specifically, this means that the user becomes able to predict the future of what the technique itself is targeting. In this sense, lifecycle is broadly defined as anything in existence. Through this technique, or its derivatives, the user is able to gazes at a rock and see it weathered into dust. The user is also able to gaze at a fireball and see its lifecycle, including forming inside the stomach of their opponent, its target, and the resulting explosion. Given that Reed Marsh is the most basic technique within the Shinkaigan’s temporal arsenal it is only able to be used against other techniques and inanimate targets. The essence of the technique is derived from the idea that all things originate from the Void, and that the Shinkaigan can return them to the Void. Through direct eye contact the user can cause a technique up to S-Rank chakra (40) to revert back to the Void. Visually this appears as if the technique is enveloped in a purple energy, consuming it before reducing it to nothingness. Experiencing Reed Marsh directly, meaning sensing it through either one of the primary senses, or through an extrasensory means, causes one to suffer from a 7 Sanity reduction. Reed Marsh can be used four times per battle, with a two turn cooldown between usage.

(Bakuhatsu Enhogan) – Exploding Flame Shots

Description: The user shoots multiple fire shots from their hands that are able to cause fiery explosions on impact with any object. The shots can't set the opponent on fire, though they can cause damage by exploding on him.

  1. Your character becomes afraid of heights. So much so that being ten or more meters above the ground reduces their concentration and makes hand seals take three times as long to use. Lasts for three turns.

Mirko felt that her technique had run its course despite her not having fully completed the technique herself, an unusual feeling to be sure, of course her technique had managed to disperse the flames coming for her but as for reaching her opponent, it seemed to full short.. perhaps a subconscious act of herself not wanting to hurt the young man before her who seemed to have taken a fancy to her.. alas it could not be and she wouldn't let the same thing happen again.

Her opponent seemed to be setting up for a display of fire works for her, but once again unfortunately this was not something Mirko was interested in, she would instead dash forwards (freeform dodge) closing the distance between them before her opponent could throw down his fireworks for her, she would take a horse stance as she closed the gap, her right side facing her opponent, her arm outstretched, with the knife edge of her palm facing upwards, her fingers pointing in the same direction as she was facing, performing a swift palm strike to her admirer's solar plexus, forcing him backwards, with enough force to the solar plexus the breathing would be effected, however there was no guarantee she hit the exact spot for this to occur.

She fell for his trap. It had been a while in the building but it was time to spring it. Looking on as his foe rushed, he chose not to do his fire technique, though remaining still for a turn allowed Natsu to ground himself increasing his sanity, returning to full. As she rushed him, Natsu did two things within the same timeframe. First of all, looking on at his foe, due to salt water sea being active, he could see the full life cycle of her current state. With this, he focussed his eyes, casting Freshwater Sea, accelerating her state by 2 turns, causing it to time out as she threw her strike at him. This would leave the attack severely weakened with the buff to her strength gone, while her speed plummeted. This was just the moment he'd been waiting for, the one to strike.

At the exact same time as his foe's speed been completely nuked and their mode ending, Natsu, still moving at x3 speed, stepped forwards driving his knee into his foe's stomach with such force causing them to keel over due to the pain. Due to her mode ending, his foe would be unable to even track his strike. To make matters worse, his foe's sanity would once again be severely hindered, causing her to lose her mind.

(Dōjutsu: Tansui Umi) – Eye Technique: Freshwater Sea

Description: The Freshwater Sea, named after Abzu, is an advanced temporal ability of the Shinkaigan related to the Saltwater Sea; this technique allows the user to reverse the lifecycle of any active state sustained by the target as long as they are in direct line of sight with the user. Naturally this technique requires that Saltwater Sea be activated in conjunction with it. Once active the user can reduce the duration of any state they have in their line of sight by two turns; this can only occur once on each mode they witness. The user, as well as those who experience or witness Freshwater Sea, suffer from a reduction of 7 Sanity. This technique can be used four times per battle but only once per state.

(Rīfu Oshitsubusu Bōfū) Leaf Crushing Storm

Description: The user strikes the enemy with a powerful knee to the stomach, causing them to double over and he finishes with a strong elbow from the alternating arm to the back of the head. If successful, it will render the target unconscious for 2 turns.

Unfortunately for his foe, they seemed to either be unaware, or completely foolish when it came to Igneel soaring in the skies above. But it was time for them to drop out of the sky. As his foe had approached Natsu, Igneel would drop down from the sky to enter the fray. In the same time frame as Natsu's combination, Igneel would release an intense blast of a unique form of fire covering the entire field from above in semi sentient flames. These flames would be empowered by the dragons natural affinity for them while containing degenerative effects to blast their foe. Fortunately for Natsu, these flames represented their bond as they would not hurt him.

Description: This is the basic creation technique of Breakdown Release. The user will combine their Yang with Fire Release to create a Breakdown Release technique. This can be released from the users body, formed out of their chakra in the air or from the ground. If formed out of the air or ground it must be 5m away from an opponent, unless the user himself is within that range. From there the user will create anything he can imagine; ranging from simple waves, pulses, streams, to shapes as intricate as weapons, houses, creatures, etc,. Due to being composed of Yang chakra, it will cost 40 chakra for a B rank then increasing by 10 chakra per rank. When releasing this jutsu the user will chose to apply the Degenerative or Regenerative effects. The Degenerative effects only apply to enemies of the user, while the Regenerative effects only apply to the allies of the user. These effects are outlined as followed:

Degenerative:
  • B Rank: Prevent the use of F rank jutsu, reducing the target's current speed by 20%
  • A Rank: Prevent the use of S rank jutsu & above, reducing the target's current speed by 30%
  • S Rank: Prevent the use of A rank jutsu and above, reducing the target's current speed by 40%
Regenerative:
  • B Rank: Heal up to 30, x1.5 speed, -10 damage, +10 tai
  • A-Rank: Heal up to 50, x2 speed, -15 damage, +15 tai
  • S-Rank: Heal up to 80, x2.5 speed, -30 damage, +20 tai
This technique, being semi sentient, will only harm those who the user perceives as enemies, where the flames will simply pass over their allies. The flames of breakdown will always damage the enemies of the user regardless of which effects are applied.

Note: For B rank and below, the user will use hand gestures to form the jutsu, for A rank the user will need to perform two hand seals, S rank will require three hand seals. A rank can be used once per turn up to 4 times per battle, S rank can be used three times per battle with two turns between uses and no Breakdown jutsu above A rank in the following turn with all effects lasting 3 turns.

Natsu's Sanity had risen to it's fullest though using his eyes once more hindered him. As he drove his knee intimately into his foe's stomach, something about her appealed to him, he couldn't tell what it was but he felt something strange....

  1. The afflicted develops a minor physical attraction toward their opponent(s). Lasts for four turns.
