By controlling the wind released, the user can entrap his opponent in something like a vacuum. The opponent recieves many tiny slashes caused by the wind. If projectile were throw directly before this attack, the projectile would be swept up along with the user. the user may or may not hold his ground, if the user has low stamina or was caught off guard, then he would be swept up into the air. Plus, he may or may not receive injuries from his own projectile as they would also be spinning in the wind.
3. 3rd Jutsu
This jutsu is presumably invisible to the naked eye and is good to use against Taijutsu attacks as the opponent is within range. with little damage, this jutsu gives the user the upper hand as he could follow up with a powerful attack.

An offensive wind Jutsu that uses only the "Ram" seal. The user concentrates chakra around him that can be used to stop an opponent's movement. It can also be used as a trap, as the technique doesn't necessarily push away the opponent. Since the user is in the middle, the wind's effect is around him. If the opponent tries to move throught the wind by force, the user may activate a fire jutus, igniting the wind an causing srious damage to the opponent.
Or it could just be shot at the opponent.

2. 2nd Jutsu
By making the following handseal: Tiger, sanke, ram The user shoots out a vortex of wind with high slicing power. Vortexs are hard to escae from, if this jutsu is not countered the results can be devastating. S-Jounin shinobi (who can use up to 3 elements) usaully combine it it earth (for restriction) and fire (Fire+wind= Boom!!!).

3. 3rd Jutsu
This jutsu was introduced in the series by Sora, a halfjinchuriki. From the anime, this technique was very efficient and Sora used it alot. By focusing chakra in his palm, the user makes a slash and releases the chakra inthat form, carving to bits any opponent standing directly in front of him, or smashing down far opponents. Used as a quick resorts when opponents surpirse you at a close range. beware of fire!!! it would back fire
