Kirabi challenges ~Shigure~ for The God of Lightning

The jutsu works the same for everyone that uses since its on the jutsulist. so even though it would happen faster if I was 2nd Hokage, im more then sure the 1 second it takes for this jutsu to have enough water to kill him would be enough. it takes less then a second for someone to clasp their hands, try it.
then the next second enough water would be there so that it would kill him..

Just because Its in the jutsulist doesn't mean everybody can use it the same way. Temari uses wind jutsu with her fan, do all of us carry around fans to use wind jutsu? No, we use hand signs and such to create them. Same thing here it's just slightly different. Nidaime was said to be able to use some of the most powerful water jutsu out of thin air, he was also said to be the strongest water user ever. Even if it is only a 1 second difference(which it probably is a bit more but meh) at his current speed that's all the time he needs.

Anyway I'm not here to argue just stating my opinion. Get an RP mod to check it =/

and it does but as I said some characters do it faster then others would I have no doubt in my mind the jutsu would be complete by the time Shig got there if I was 2nd Hokage.. but the mass of water i would've conjured is more then enough.. I am a Kage Rank ninja. I could see if I were a S-Class or something. someone under Shigure's level but im not. and we all now even without the armor the Raikage reactions and speed are extremely high. clasp of the hands in less then a second is no problem. that's all it takes..the next second there's enough water to cause his armor to backfire and severly shock him.. and no we don't carry around fans. but if we did there's nothing stopping us from using wind jutsu exactly like she does. and yeah im doing that right now.

Don't take this the wrong way, but you started the argument and everyone knows what happens when the raikage touches water with his armor active. I don't see how this is any different.

I agree...If the armor is emanating around you like the raikage armor and you make contact with water you will be electrocuted no doubts about it.

edit: if you need proof the water would be nowhere near me. just watch the jutsu on Shig's video 0:11-0:13.

Umm, why would i hit myself with my own jutsu..? the water from that jutsu doesn't hit the user.

All I have to do is cause the water wave to spread outwards from me giving me time to jump out of the middle onto a mountain. or I could even use a another jutsu to get me out safely.

I doubt it would that jutsu is spread far away enough so that i wont get hit. i could and if it has any potential to hit me seeing as I can still direct the jutsu away from me long enough for me to escape to a mountain. and I didn't use any jutsu after my move I do have time to escape.

i'd hate to butt in but, technically the water is a summon, and i do believe the summoner would have directional control of where the water would go. But maybe im wrong.

Even if the water is around him, and Shig is running at 3rd-4th speed... He'd get electrocuted and die when he came in contact with the water, but it wouldn't stop his motion forward.. so, his dead body would fly through the water and ram into Kirabi, throwing him in contact with the water if he already wasn't.

ah, I see.. well then id like to point out this fact. Shig momentum would then carry us through the other side of the water. The jutsu wouldn't have fully completed as my focus would be broken. I'd get shocked as I pass through the water but not to the point of death as that split second wouldnt be enough to get all the lightning into my body. as im not wearing my own armor i would be safe but possibly slightly numbed taking a good but not fatal amount of damage. then I would be able to escape just narrowly from the falling water would I not. at least a low-rank technique as my body wouldn't be ready fro anything above a C-rank from being shocked.

if this isnt the case then my journey would continue... >___>
