Itachi's won't waste time peaking in a fight like this. But either way. Itachi's genjutsu will work I think. Remember in the past. When he used tsukyiomi, Kakashi didn't escape and it took him about a second to torture kakashi for 72 hours. But when Itachi used a normal genjutsu on Naruto, chiyo and sakura woke him up. So I guess Itachi is capable of using stronger and weaker genjutsu, depending on the user and depending on his goal.

How will the Gin/Kin Brothers win against a master of the sharingan? whatever moves they will create it will be quickly intercepted by itachi >.> especially in Taijutsu and Kenjutsu. Genjutsu is literally useless against itachi, Ninjutsu meh Itachi would be able to copy it and use it against his opponents, an thats only 3tomoe sharingan

Perfect control over genjutsu- there isn't anyone known to uchiha capable of controlling genjutsu like uchiha itachi. He can even cast genjutsu pointing his fingers through a second party and only using his maybe 20 percent of his power
He has special items that equip them to his susano'o making him practically invincible
He uses amaterasu
He is extremely fast
He is not the type to speak a lot
He is the type who analyzes his opponent before making any strong move
He is the type of person who would turn a very small simple technique into a deadly technique
He is one step or several steps ahead of his opponent
Plus Itachi gave some technique to naruto powerful enough to kill sasuke which we haven't seen yet.
basically I don't care what type of power this brothers will show, they are still no match against itachi.

Another thing. There is just no way them cloud ninja's know about MS abilities cause they get to konoha once the 1st and madara are goners. (Against the second hokage). They don't know the guy they were dead before he was born.

MS is not a well known technique geez like only 5 ppl we kno hav them.

hmm did couple of sealing swords interest u guys already? sorry bt i think itachi will dominate them even though they gt alot of chakra n 9tails bt itachi can end it quick i reckon...besides itachi is incredibly fast, as u saw when he vs sasuke bt dats my opinion

Its one thing for itachi to lose to pain, pain is his perfect counter, but KinGin haven't shown any impressive speed. itachi appeared behind kurenai instantly after kicking her onto the river, can weave hand seals so fast it appears he doesn't use them at all seeing as only 3 tomoe+ sharingans could tell he even moved his hands, as well as weaving them in between matching sasuke's shuriken throws in a stalemate.
so hes fast enough to avoid getting hit with the rope, and if they can't hit him with the rope they can't bring his soul out, so they can't curse it or seal it which makes 2 of the 4 weapons useless.
If he did have to use tsukuyomi it will probably catch a brother they don't seem very smart and itachi is from a time after they died so they probably don't know about tsukuyomi or that itachi is famous for genjutsu.
and unless they were waiting side by side knowing he was going to use genjutsu, would they be able to disrupt eachother? and if they were close enough would that even work on tsukuyomi? since its the most powerful genjutsu you can cast on someone other then yourself (izanagi) and happens in 3 seconds but causes 72 hours or more of torture depending on what itachi wants it to do, that will affect them in some way afterwards and is pretty unavoidable.
He doesn't have to stop them both with genjutsu, its just his preferred method so even tho hes a genjutsu specalist he was as fast or faster then anyone else we've seen (besides gates opened guy/lee possibly minato) while sick. Even tho we don't know his "full power" not being fataly ill and on pills will improve your fighting ability noticeably.
hes also one of the most intelligent people we've seen, got into akatsuki and stayed undercover for year, led sasuke along, we all know the story. graduated the academy at 7 (may be wrong but isn't that the youngest age ever?) mastered sharingan at 8, chuunin at 10 and anbua captain at 13.
like someone else said KinGin just seem cocky they tried to take on 9tails together and got swallowed for 2 weeks, sure they came out alive and with some new chakra but that shows a serious lack of foresight which can lead them to getting their heads cut off if they were fighting itachi to the death.

by not saying dull and sealing them lol we don't know yet but its mighty big convienience that they have a gourd that can seal souls, the only way they can defeat edo tensei summons without tieing them up really well like deidara.
smh.. when i saw this thread and read the comments.. first off to anyone who thinks we seen everything the bros have to offer wake up! they are just toying around at the moment, and for those who think itachi will figure out the weapons at the beginning is retarted!(bout time he figure the weapons out he would of been touch by the rope and it would be to late) itachi know nothing bout the brothers, and has no where near the amount of chackra they have. but yet i still dont think we can choose a clear winner, its to early. after we see what there true powers are, then we can judge. but now i say it could go either way.

just because he doesn't know the rope's main purpose doesn't mean he'll let them hit him in the first place hes not a "hot-head" like that kumo dude who charged in against Famous Unkillable Criminals!O.O and yeah they need to show more before we know their full power but for the history from raikage and samui and the strat they use with the 4 weapons doesn't seem like something a kage-level ninja would fall to so easily, they ambushed the 2nd ho and raikage and "brought him to the verge of death" so he didn't get hit by the soul sealing jutsu they had to fight him with ninjutsu or something which we havn't seen yet, but for this week they don't have an edge yet.
i agree! and i also think that no one killed them (in battle), i think they were killed by the hidden cloud in like some sort of trial (death sentence). because they seem like they are the type that listens to no one.. or they got killed by the 3rd raikage.. idk but they are epic to say the lease.lol
