how can you say that they are lame? The kin-Gin bros were feared. Even the Raikage was scared for the army and offered to go help out the army against the bros. also they were only shown for a little bit in the manga.
If youre just going to say theyre lame at least give some reasons why you think so.
I don't think they're Uzumaki. Just because they had a lot of chakra doesn't mean they are Uzumaki. Other characters like Kisame had monstrous chakra too. It means nothing. Surviving the Kyuubi's stomach has nothing to do with them being Uzumaki either. Plus, Raikage said he thought they were distant relatives to the so6p. It wasn't a fact.

The Uchiha and the Senju are also descendants of the Leaf so to just say they are Uzumaki is odd. The likelihood is that they aren't Uzumaki because their village was still in existence at that point and the surviving Uzumaki hadn't scattered yet.
@NLee - The reasons I think Kin-Gin are lame are:
1. They were never mentioned before. Not even a mention of the guys who almost killed the 2nd Hokage and their strange abilities...seems odd since we've heard of everyone else who's been resurrected. There was a Kinkaku Force mentioned, but no specific mention of them.
2. We got a very quick abbreviated backstory on them. That's not a huge issue, but mixed with number 3 it is.
3. They were gone as quickly as they arrived. 5 manga chapters, that's it. They showed up and in 5 manga chapters they're gone. Back into their obscurity, maybe without even being mentioned again.
4. They not only absorbed some of the 9 tails chakra they also had their appearance transformed (the whiskers marks on their cheeks like Naruto)
5. Their main weapon attack involves the word you've said most in your life.
Must implies proof, but you only have a belief.
Massive chakra doesn't equate Uzumaki as mentioned and they got it from the Kyuubi not their clan. Also, as mentioned, the Uzumaki weren't scattered at that point so I doubt they'd be members of the cloud village. I don't even think they have the "Uzumaki" red hair, so they can't at best be 100% Uzumaki, for example Naruto.

I hope not, that would be really lame, just because they survived in the Kyuubi for 2 weeks doesn't mean they are Uzumaki. They are special indeed but I highly doubt they are Uzumaki.
