Note that Kimimaro doesn't use chakra based techniques. He uses pure taijutsu and he is damn good at it. Samehada wouldn't be able to replenish Kisame's chakra if it can't leech any from Kimimaro. Along with Kimimaro's bone density I'm pretty sure his sword (whichever one) can compete with Samehada in a sword vs sword fight.

Kimimaro may have the advantage until Kisame uses his water techniques and drowns him.
