I dont know if Asuma was best CQC figher, but..,

I never said that Hidan is better than Kimimaro in Taijutsu, however his immortality and ritual gives him an advantage. Hidan is just skilled enough to get some of Kimimaros blood. I mean, this guy had advantage against Asuma, elite Jounin, who was strong enough to OWN whole Otogakure squad, a Jounin and several Chuunins just with his fists in less than minute. And Asuma had Shikamarus support, if it wasnt for that Hidans advantage would be even bigger.

So yeah, that guy was no pushover in that department.

Heck he even has the option of taking a hit to draw blood in return, its not like he has any reason to be afraid of Kimimaros attacks. Hidan has some sort of instant regen where breaking bones and stab wounds do nothing to hinder his mobility in any shape or form.

? Unless you have something that states gaara's sand coffin is not constant in terms of its pressure, his bone shield either:

A- Doesnt cover everywhere on the body
or
B- Is weaker in some spots on the body, hence why it was broken through.


Not to mention I doubt its something he can spawn all over his body in the midst of a CQC assault. (He was sitting in Gaara's coffin)

As much as I enjoy Kimi that is something that's pretty overrated constantly.

They didnt rekt crap. All they did was mention Kimmi's bones being able to block with bones in all directions without factoring

1. Kimmi protection have gaps.
2. Hidan's weapons design can go in between the gaps from the bones and gain blood.

While Base Guy was struggling against 30% Kisame in CQC (and needed to go gates), while 100% Kisame stop C@C against Asuma resulted in using ninjutsu to stop him. Foh.

Kimimaro most likely makes his bone layer between the dermis and epidermis. This would stop Hidan from getting any blood, as blood vessels are protected
