Kimi's bones protrude from multiple locations on his body, coupled with the bone sword he wields in his hand. The scythe never makes contact.

Not relevant unless you claim it can cover his whole skin. The shape of the scythe can go inbetween the bones and gain blood from his skin.

Even without knowledge, there is no reason for Kimi to stand idly while his opponent catches distance and begins doing something. Kimi is a CQC fighter... there won't be a moment when he isn't on Hidan's ass. Even if unintentionally, Kimi never lets him make it.

No reason? Have you seen his fight with Naruto? Have you seen his fight with Lee? Base on manga, Kimmi has good reasons to not jump to conclusion, without understanding his opponent.

Hidan wins.
Both have unorthodox fighting style, capable of catching well known taijutsu users.

At the same time, Kimmi's style is ending his opponents with piercing effects, which Hidan is invulnerable to.

Hidan eventually gains blood, then its gg.

I disliked your post because:

1. Hidan doesn't win.
2. Kimimaro's moveset relying on piercing moves doesn't translate to Hidan winning. Not a chance in hell.
3. Hidan won't even get past his bone armor let alone deal enough damage to actually draw blood. Especially when he's using level 2 of the curse mark.
4. Kimimaro can protrude bones from nearly any part of his upper body. Those easily block Hidan's scythe from cutting him.

Match ends with Sawarabi no Mai finishing Hidan off. Immortal or not, he can't fight when he's been skewered on top of humongous bones, and if that isn't enough, then his head gets ripped clean off and turned to mush with Tessenka no Mai like FT said.

2. Kimimaro's moveset relying on piercing moves doesn't translate to Hidan winning. Not a chance in hell.

It translates that going for moves that Hidan can ignore just leaves him getting cut out of his LoS.

3. Hidan won't even get past his bone armor let alone deal enough damage to actually draw blood. Especially when he's using level 2 of the curse mark.

Um yes it would. The shape of the scythe being thrown is going to be hitting in between the bone and the skin exposed.

4. Kimimaro can protrude bones from nearly any part of his upper body. Those easily block Hidan's scythe from cutting him.

What? Blocking the scythe doesn't mean its capable of blocking his skin inbetween it. Its literally design to do that.

Match ends with Sawarabi no Mai finishing Hidan off. Immortal or not, he can't fight when he's been skewered on top of humongous bones, and if that isn't enough, then his head gets ripped clean off and turned to mush with Tessenka no Mai like FT said.

It could end. Not like Kimmi starts off with it. So there's also a possibility it back fires.

No, that means Hidan doesn't get killed by what pierces him. It doesn't mean that Hidan automatically pierces or cuts

Um yes it would. The shape of the scythe being thrown is going to be hitting in between the bone and the skin exposed.

Read the Manga. Clearly not what I was talking about. I was talking about Kimimaro's natural durability and his ability to form bones under his skin. That's how he survived 3 of Gaara's sand burials, one of them which was 200m underground. Hidan never pierces him. Ever. Not with a regular metal scythe.

What? Blocking the scythe doesn't mean its capable of blocking his skin inbetween it. Its literally design to do that.

Not even sure what you are saying here. If the scythe is blocked, then his skin never gets touched.

It could end. Not like Kimmi starts off with it. So there's also a possibility it back fires.

Unless Hidan can kill Kimimaro before he does it, no, there is no possibility that it back fires nor is there a possibility of him winning.

Please, let's not argue such a dumb match up. Kimimaro parries all of Hidan's attacks, and when he realizes that the conventional attack won't cut it, he one shots him with Sawarabi no Mai.

Kimmi is the same guy that let lee drink his medicine...

Lol.

Hidan style is to catch the opponent away from their LoS. Meaning Kimmi isn't going to expect it, when he goes from the pierces, thinking the damage will withdraw Hidan's own attacks.

Kimmi's natural durability (the skin layer) isn't durable. Dont know what manga your reading that shows this? Forming bones underneath the skin is irrelevant as Hidan's target is the skin itself.

Not even sure what you are saying here. If the scythe is blocked, then his skin never gets touched.

KG, a silicone cylinder model (via bones) directly above skin, is not capable of blocking a triple-blade shape weapon without making skin contact in between.

You mean unless Hidan gains a drop of his blood?

Please, let's not argue such a dumb match up. Kimimaro parries all of Hidan's attacks, and when he realizes that the conventional attack won't cut it, he one shots him with Sawarabi no Mai.

This isn't a dumb match up as intel is the crucial point. Also have not understand what happens when bone style would mean against a triple blade shape weapon.

People are probably forgetting the clear difference in speed between Kimi and Hidan :lol

Kimi can't really land a hit except with braken dance, location would help as he can avoid it in plenty of locations..

Also pretty sure people are forgetting that Kimi clearly still bleeds.

Did Kimi cough blood at any other time then right before his death? I believe he did. If so then Hidan takes this.

Nothing Hidan can do will cause him to blood. Only chance is Kimi coughing up blood from his sickness.

? Unless you have something that states gaara's sand coffin is not constant in terms of its pressure, his bone shield either:

A- Doesnt cover everywhere on the body
or
B- Is weaker in some spots on the body, hence why it was broken through.

Not to mention I doubt its something he can spawn all over his body in the midst of a CQC assault. (He was sitting in Gaara's coffin)

As much as I enjoy Kimi that is something that's pretty overrated constantly.

He doesnt have to. Just wherever Hidan is about to hit him like he did to stop the impact of Lee's kick. He could either release a bone in that spot or create the mask under it.

Hidans scythe is quite large, it won't just need to be in "one spot" and could he really do that if he goes in to try and stab Hidan, succesfully does so but then thinking he has killed Hidan is blind sided by a strike?

Even with intel hidan can always use his immortality to his advantage and merely recieve a strike from Kimi and take the oppurtinity to deal a blow too quick for Kimi to react with.

Although again what you said doesn't justify why he was bleeding against Gaara's sand.

Robin this weapon is being hurled at you.

Circle where Kimmi can successfuly block the weapon from his body without skin making contact.

LMAO. I'm sorry Hidan is a dope character, but in a full blown fight against Kimimaro?! The dude gets fucked badly. Unorthodox fighting style my ass @ Hidan, that fighting style compared to Kimimaro's is child's play.

Kimimaro low-mid.

Not that big. Its got a small area where it can actually pierce you. Kimi can definitely protect that small area when it gets near his body.

I think its obviouswhy he bled from Gaara's attack.

Robin it pierces and cuts.. And the length of the blade is more then arm's reach. You have yet shown how a bone is blocking the triple blade at all.

So lets try again. Circle the picture I showed where the bone can protect Kimmi without it going in between, yet alone no skin contact.

It only pierces with 3 tips. I see nowhere it can cut.

Even with lee's speed Kimi could still create a bone shield to stop the impact of Lee's kick. He can easily do the same to stop the tips from piercing.

Asuma knocked it backwards, due to it being quite a distance, Hidan could have even pushed it further with his chain, but was aiming only to obtain blood for his ritual. Regardless thats completely different from a less than a meter away slash.

Hidan>> Injured part one lee's speed with his weights on. (if he still had those idk)

None of that matters. My point was, Kimi only has to worry about a small point of entry by the tips. It can easily be stopped by bones piercing out, he has also shown the speed(Above pages) to be able to do it.
