They stopped trying to capture him alive halfway through the fight.. when suigetsu literally says we need to go at him like we're gonna kill him. B beat sasuke once, while sasuke was trying to capture, and again when everyone else jumped in and went at it, after they decide to go full tilt. You can look at the fight however you want, sasuke was still lucky to leave alive considering the only thing he did to hurt bee the entire fight was a chidori that shocked him a bit(iirc) and ama... cause his kick didn't do sh t

He would have been dead twice before sasuke even used amaterasu. He may have had no killing intent but im sure he had to fight as hard as he could seeing as to how he literally got stomped the whole fight
