Using Kikyo, swift release bio that you trained.

We're both in a large (20 meter diameter) clearing surrounded by a dense forest. 10 Meters from eachother, I'll go first.

Damn, I've been spotted.

His target was a man by the name of Mirio. Tall, blonde, well built; he seemed like a decent guy, to be frank. Called himself something of a "hero". Kikyo's employer was unfortunately NOT a decent guy and thus wanted this man dead. Too bad, but hey; business is business.

Despite this, the man was obviously skilled enough to detect Kikyo during his pursuit; that was something of a pain, to say the least. And of course, now, that led them to here. A direct confrontation, certainly not his strong suit.

Walking out from his cover in the underbrush surrounding the clearing and approaching the center of the large area (now standing at the 10 meters from each others mentioned in the beginning) he addressed the fellow shinobi in a respectful, professional tone while drawing a kunai from his side holster with his left hand, taking a seemingly non-imposing stance while he did so. During his speech, he weaved the boar handseal, making no significant show of doing so as was his usual tendency.

"Hey. Sorry about this... it's just a job and all. You understand, I'm sure."

In that moment, without any hesitation, Kikyo flickered out of sight, bolstering his already impressive speed using his Hayaton abilities, if only for a couple of seconds. During that brief time, he dashed to the man's left (my right) and entered melee range, reappearing only to deliver a casual left handed slash at the man's throat with the kunai he previously drawn, although at nowhere near the speed he had displayed only moments ago.

Mirio felt like he was being followed for the longest of times. Maybe it was because of his costume? He was a known hero throughout a decent amount of areas, so that would exolain him being followed. Could it be some sort of villain? Or was it a fan! Or was it some paparazzi trying to get the newest story on the big hero? Mirio couldn't tell at all by the average looks of the man. He'd continue to travel, but in case this wasn't a friendly follower, Mirio led him to a densely wooded area where they had stopped in an opening.

At this point, Mirio could feel the intent in the man's aura now. This was no friendly follower. His mind was fully made up as he turned around, hearing the man speak as he put his hands together to perform a single hand seal!

"A job -"

With that done, the man vanished in thin air, and had pretty much caught Mirio off guard.

"- Shit!"

He appeared in close range of Mirio, prompting the hero to instantly activate his Sharingan in Order to gain a better perception of the opposition. Now the man weaved in the same hand seal, moving again, but this time due to the Sharingan Mirio tracked the movement in raw detail. With the man moving in to extremely close quarters, Mirio smiled and began his own personal assault. As the man appeared directly next to Mirio, he did 2 things simultaneously. First of, Mirio would use his wind based chakra in order to great 5 spheres of wind that were nearly touching the man as they are conjured into existence. There was a sphere created basically in each of the man's palms, bursting in order to knock his hands away from one another while causing slight damage. 2 more were created directly behind his knees, bursting and causing him to lose all footing and also causing slight damage. The last was created directly behind the middle of his back, bursting and causing him to shoot forwards towards Mirio. All of the spheres were both created and burst at the same time.

On the other hand, without the use of chakra and simultaneously to the spheres being created, Mirio performed a tai based movement. Using his right hand as support, Mirio pushed his left elbow into the man's gut, digging it in before pushing a bit harder and sending him tumbling a few meters away.

"From what I've deducted, you need a hand seal for your little speedy dance there... Who are you anyway, stranger?!"

Description:
One of the Three Great Dōjutsu (San Daidōjutsu), the Sharingan is the kekkei genkai of the Uchiha clan. Unlike the other Dōjutsu, not all members of the Uchiha Clan possess the Sharingan. This great Dōjutsu seems to awaken only on exceptional Uchiha members and only in times of great stress. Once awaken, the pupil turns red and a single tomoe (巴) seal appears around the center pupil. As the user masters and evolves their eyes, the tomoe (巴) seals increase, topping 3 per eye. The main ability of the Sharingan, like any other Dōjutsu, is to enable the user to see the flow of chakra. This ability is further improved as the Sharingan gives color to chakra, enabling the user to differentiate chakras from different people or from different sources. Although the user can see chakra through matter, he cannot see beyond dense matter or in long distances. Coupled with the ability to see chakra, Sharingan users gain acess to an incredible clarity of perception that enables them to read insanely fast movements or minor details, enabling them the ability to foresee in an easier way, traps, incoming attacks, etc. This clarity of perception is so great that a Sharingan user can sometimes start performing a counter to an attack that is still being performed, enabling the counter to be launched only a split a second after the attack. This clarity of perception leaves Sharingan users able to track high speed movement easily as well as to read through handseals. This last ability enables them to learn techniques much faster and sometimes copy them directly from the enemy, as long as the user has the necessary chakra affinities and requirements to perform it. Finally, the Sharingan is often linked to Genjutsu and mind-manipulating illusions, mostly because the user can, mostly through Eye Contact, directly and precisely use his chakra to manipulate the enemy's chakra flow. In return, the users clarity of perception gives him the ability to more easily decipher visual illusions cast upon him and see past them. The Sharingan has a great cost to the user though. The chakra consumption disables its use for long periods of time and, even when the user grows stronger, it's still hard to keep it active for long periods of time.
Note: The user, if he hasn't gained full mastery over his Sharingan, will need to spend a move to activate it, although as long as he has chakra and enough stamina he'll be able to keep it active until the end of the match. If the user is Sannin Rank or above and has gained his 3 Tomoe Sharingan and held it for one month, he becomes able to passively activate it, meaning he'll no longer spend a move of his 3 per turn.
Note: To avoid direct Eye Contact and be able to focus only on the body movement below the chin, the opponent needs to have mastered Taijutsu to possess the necessary skill
Note: C rank usage is for 1T Sharingan, B rank usage is reserved for 2T Sharingan. A Rank usage is reserved for 3T Sharingan.
Note: Predicting the nature of a technique or what it exactly is requires the user to either know the technique or that its a cannon technique.

(Fuuton: Tobideru no Jutsu) - Wind Release: Popping Technique

Description: The user focuses wind chakra at certain points in range, manifesting small balls of pressurized air (max 6) which immediately burst and push away objects near them but have no effect more than 2 ft away. They may be created all at once or in sequence and each one is capable of knocking over an adult. While this technique won't deal much damage to enemies, it is a good surprise attack and could leave them open for additional attacks. If the user creates a ball beneath himself he may evade attacks by launching himself upwards and can do the same for allies. Defensively, this technique could deflect weapon strikes and projectiles with enough precision to even launch objects like shuriken back at the enemy.*

He can keep up? That's an annoyance.

Upon noticing his opponents eyes swirl into a dark red, Kikyo knew that his most notable advantage was nearly gone. The sharingan was without a doubt one of the most powerful counters to his abilities. He'd faced the sharingan before, and had won while doing so, but it had never been easy.

I doubt this will be any easier either.

It was in that moment, as Kikyo began to make the second boar handseal, that he realized the extent to which the difficulty of the situation had amped up. Two spheres of what appeared to be wind appeared between his hands before he could finish the handseal, blowing them apart and leaving them stinging a good bit. Furthermore, his kunai was blown to who knows where.

Shit that hur-

As if that wasn't enough, Kikyo then found his thoughts interrupted by his legs buckling beneath him and his body being blown forwards towards the man, who appeared to be chambering a left armed elbow that was heading straight for him. Yes, this Mirio's speed was looking to be quite a bit of bad news. The good news?

I'm still faster.

Flying through the air, in the moment just before he impacted the man's elbow, using a burst of chakra Kikyo flickered out of existence for a brief moment, only to be replaced with a nearby log. He was now standing five meters to the man's right, watching as the log splintered.

That could have been me.

Despite that thought, there was no time to waste. He had already taken enough damage; taking more would have just been overkill. Hopefully having gained some surprise off of this development, Kikyo did two things to avert the disaster that was his last approach. First, he allowed Raiton chakra to begin to flow throughout his body, accelerating the speed at which his brain communicated with his body. This would effectively double his speed, attack speed, and vastly increase his taijutsu damage, even giving his attacks the potential to cut. Then, he once again wove the boar handseal, allowing his Hayaton chakra to spread throughout his body, although this time for a more specific purpose. By now, the man would have noticed he'd hit a log.

So I need to act right now.

Thus, upon having that thought grace his mind, he launched off of his right foot in a blur of speed, appearing only after having chambered an incredibly powerful right straight aimed for the left side of Mirio's face. If the punch impacted, which Kikyo had no doubt it would, the man would be launched ten feet to his right, sent flying by the sheer force and momentum behind the attack. Hell, even if it missed, the vast aura of lightning surrounding him would likely enable the punch to cut on a near miss, slicing the man's cheek open and dealing significant damage (20, the value of the boost the tech provides). Once again allowing himself to speak casually, Kikyo was breathing the slightest bit heavy as he did so.

"That's always a tough one to pull off."

Overdrive is always tough... and using it this early scares me.

(Kawarimi no Jutsu) - Change of Body Stance Technique

Description: Kawarimi no Jutsu is a basic Ninjutsu technique. When in danger the ninja will quickly substitute themselves with another nearby object. This can be a block of wood or even another person. This allows the ninja to quickly flee and hide while the original object takes the brunt of their opponents attack. The technique is a mix between high speed movement and the use of the transformation technique but has its limits.

OOC: Overdrive makes it so that my movement is a level 20, twice yours. Swift (when active) makes it a 25.

The wind spheres had bursted and brought the man close just like Mirio wanted in the first place, but before the elbow could happen, the man saved himself from being completely knocked out from the combination. Using the Sharingan, Mirio watched the movements closely as the man had replaced himself with a nearby block of wood; Completely evading the elbow and taking himself out of dangers way. The elbow would of course continue, destroying the block of wood in place of the human flesh that was supposed to be there.

"Heh. It's almost over. He's injured!"

Mirio says this as his sharingan still gives him the ability to track his targets chakra and whereabouts. At this point, the man in his new position away from Mirio would activate a sudden surge through his body that seemed like a much more controlled and lighter version of a lightning armor he had seen before. Once the technique was activated, Mirio wasted no time, performing 2 swift hand seals and trapping the man in an illusion. He'd witness Mirio dissolve into thin air as the floor rumbles and a maze erects from the ground around him. The man found himself moving forward through the maze in search for the vanished Mirio, though in reality the man was standing their in place unable to move a single muscle.

(Genjutsu: Gensō no meiro) | Illusionary Arts : Illusionary Maze

Description: The user performs the Tiger → Boar handseals and seems to dissolve into the air, at the same time the opponent will see a maze rise around him, trapping him in it. The opponent thinks he moves forwards trough the maze to find his way out, but in reality he stands frozen on his place, unable to move and making him vulnerable for attacks.
Note: Maze stays in place for 3 turns

Mirio, whom hadn't vanished at all would simply had taken the time to blitz into close combat, leaping about a foot into the air and back handing the shit out of the man; Knocking him down to the ground and out of the illusion due to the pain that would surge directly through his jaw. The back hand was done with Mirio's right hand, making the connection with dudes right cheek with full force.

"I said who the hell are you! Who sent you? You're clearly out classed..."

Ah. I wasn't quick enough, I suppose.

Mirio's eyes had caught up to Kikyo faster than he had expected. Well, such was the nature of the sharingan. It was upon eye contact that his opponent began to weave a pair of handseals, both occurring prior to his usage of the swift release technique he had prepared. Following this, his target seemed to vanish entirely, dissipating into thin air. After this, what appeared to be a massive maze erupted from the ground, showing no indication of having been naturally formed.

Tch, he could do with being a tad more subtle.

It was genjutsu; this was obvious. First, the man had disappeared, then a technique of this scale had seemed to come from nowhere; this was simply not within the realm of a shinobi's power as far as Kikyo was aware. Of course, he could have been wrong, but that wasn't a chance he was willing to take. Biting into the side of his cheek, he tore a chunk from it, quickly breaking out of the illusion.

This was, of course, only in time to see Mirio leaping towards him, preparing what appeared to be a backhanded slap. Did he think this was funny? Well, Kikyo's performance thus far had been lackluster, so he wouldn't blame him. As the man flew through the air while speaking, Kikyo made the boar handseal, once again allowing his Hayaton chakra to flow throughout his body. This enabled him to crouch beneath the incoming slap, prior to his opponent his the ground.

Following this, Kikyo would proceed to use his legs as a sort of spring, pushing off of them while chambering a right handed uppercutting palm attack which he infused with a significant amount of Raiton chakra. This uppercut would fly straight into the base of Mirio's jaw, sending him up into the air and backwards five meters.

Finally, as if the weather had changed via an act of god, clouds began to gather above the battlefield following Kikyo's attack, then starting to pour rain onto the two combatants.

This will make things much, much easier.

Making a single handseal upon noticing this, Kikyo shaped a mass of Ameton chakra in his belly and then proceeded to expel it from his body, directing it into the sky. This would cause the rain above the clouds to condense, forming a spear which he could call down at a later point in time, should he wish to.

If the spear is not used by that time it will fall uselessly as rain. The only warning this technique gives is a second pause in the rain when the water is gathered and condensed.

Again with the speedy antics. Whoever the guy was he was definitely a fast one. This skill he used to swiften his movements seemed to come from bursts of chakra throughout the body to temporarily enhance the movement. Mirio's sharingan helped him keep up with it, but his body itself wasn't fast enough to out do the speed. This was shown when the man broke the illusion and swiftly ducked the backhand slap.

"Tch... What a nuisance..."

At this point Mirio had gotten a bit serious, flexing his pure intent to kill the man now. This would come in the form of paralysis in the middle of the man's punch, as gruesome visions of his death overwhelmed him instantly in that moment. He'd feel a slight pain in his gut as nausea also hit him. It was purely a flex of power difference. On what truly could happen if Mirio was to actually attempt to take the man's life!

Simultaneously to the killing intent happening, Mirio had feigned the punch anyway with a body replacement technique before attacking the paralyzed opposition. This would be done with a freshly drawn sword being swung laterally across the man's tosrso from his right side.

Description: Killing Intent pertains to the ability of the user giving off their pure killing intention and having it affect their opponent and others around them up to the point of paralyzing them. When the Killing Intent is particularly strong, it can even give the victim visions of their own gruesome death, nausea, pain, etc. This can cause the Killing Intent to be confused with a genjutsu, despite not being a genjutsu at all; simply a showcase of intention and power. The target will feel as if facing an overwhelming enemy and, even if not a sensor, will suddenly feel the pressure of the users chakra and its magnitude, making the effect that much more dramatic. To effectively be used, the user needs to focus on his target and concentrate on the killing intent towards it, meaning that one must see the target and be focused on it. The strength of the Killing Intent is dependent on many factors and go through several levels. If a difference in rank smaller than 2 ranks exist, the enemy will feel only the pressure and the ominous presence of their dark intentions. Its enough to lose your grasp on a weapon or stay clinched to it (depending on the situation) or even to hesitate in an attack, stumble or mess up a handseal, all depending on the situation and proximity. The effect is small and normally not that significant but can be effectively used to pressure enemies into making a mistake. If a difference of 2 ranks or more exist, the enemy will be frozen, almost unable to move as the overwhelming killing intent dominates their own conscious and riddles them with nightmarish versions of death. The paralyzation gradually weakens as time passes and can only be maintained while the user is focused on the target. The further away the target, the weaker it is and it can only fully paralyze a target within short range. Similarly, the more targets one focuses on, the weaker the effect is in each one (divinding the effects equally between the number of targets). Lastly, the stronger the user is in relation to the target, the stronger the effect will be. The target can counter Killing Intent directed at it through pain, "mind cleansing" techniques or their own Killing Intent.

I've got hi- holy hell, there's no way I can do this.

In the moment before Kikyo's punch impacted his opponent, he felt himself become overwhelmed with an immense sense of fear. This was an enemy FAR out of his league. There was just no chance at victory. To put things simply, he felt absolutely and utterly hopeless. A bisection, a beheading, a punch through his gut... there were so many ways he could just keel over and die in this fight. Even as his uppercut met thin air, Kikyo found himself too distraught to care, taking deep, heaving breaths.

Come on! Get ahold of yourself... he's a target. You can fight. You can still fight him! If you don't fight him, you WILL die!

Taking one more deep breath, Kikyo steeled his resolve and bit into the left of his cheek; he needed to focus. And focus he did, just in time to witness his opponent rushing towards him, Mirio's sword prepared to swing into a lateral slash across his chest. He had to react quickly, and in such a manner that would allow him to avoid getting hit.

I can't let myself get hit again; another one of those attacks from earlier and I'd probably die or at least get knocked unconscious.

The good news was that Kikyo was quite good at not getting hit. That said, he still had to counter his target's move effectively. Thus, using the last of the energy provided by his Overdrive, he rapidly spun over his left shoulder, chambering a kick by raising his left leg as he did so. This also allowed him to evade the slash from his opponent, the sword coursing past his right hip as it was parallel to the opponent.

Finally, interrupting Mirio towards the end of his attack (and by extension exploiting his vulnerability in this position), Kikyo's left leg flew into a blisteringly quick back kick as his spin completed, landing square on Mirio's upper chest. This would launch the man backwards about five meters, hopefully dealing at least some damage. With this, his Overdrive petered out, the aura of Raiton chakra surrounding him beginning to dissipate. He was panting now; this battle was drawing on for far too long. He'd already used nearly half of his chakra.

I need to finish him, and damn soon.

With Mirio barely missing his target when swinging his blade, he had gotten slightly irritated. This man was clearly out matched, yet he kept trying and trying. Whoever was paying him for this job must've been giving a hefty amount of cash.

Mirio's Sharingan helped him track the man as he evaded, and as he did so, he notices the man was doing a counter attack. Mirio simply swayed his body slightly, casting a minute illusion upon the man in the midst of his taijutsu movement. He'd feel a jolt of pulsating sensations throughout his body which would make him stumble and fall short on his attack completely; Missing and leaving Mirio untouched. During this slight moment of the man being off balance and his perception of the world being heavily slurred, Mirio hopped back a few feet to activate his next technique.

Description: This is a counter technique that utilizes the Drunkard's Genjutsu style. Instead of using the genjutsu to lead an opening for the offensive, the user waits for the precise opportunity to strike. Upon being attacked by another taijutsu technique or closed ranged attack, the user sways; either his hands or body, whatever to induce a hypnotic like illusion. The illusion creates the sudden pulsating sensation that jolts the victim’s body, disturbing their focus for a very brief, yet effective enough moment. From there the user’s perception of the world around them becomes heavily slurred and the actions they were doing before will falter. Should the victim have been attempting a taijutsu movement they will attack short and miss all together or simple stumble. If they were using a ninjutsu of some sort their hand seals will mess up or the aim of their attack will be off and miss (within reasonable circumstances). In that momentary laps and the drunken slur of their opponent’s movements, the user can then execute an attack of their own.

In a moment's notice Mirio's body would be covered in a crystalline armor made of pure stygian water. This armor would keep him protected in a dangerous weapon for his next attack. He'd rush at full speeds towards the man, extending an abundance of spikes from his armor that aimed to pierce the man. Mirio would simply chase and charge the man until he skewered him enough to grab him bear hug him; Burning him alive with the deadly armor.

Description:
After gathering a large amount of Stygian Water chakra, the user releases it throughout his entire body, emanating in the form of a blackish chakra shroud of Water though this is not all; in addition to this, the user would simultaneously compresses the water at incredible levels, turning it hard and almost crystalline in nature to form a black armor that protects him. This is very similar to the "Hidden Waterfall Style: Water Slicing Blade" technique used by normal water users, and comes with high amounts of durability. The armor resembles that of a black knight (see depiction below) with a light Stygian Water mist pouring off of its backside. Though the armor is dark in color, it is also transparent due to its crystalline form that it has taken on. Though the armor is mainly used as a defensive mechanism, it can also be used similar to the earth release hardening technique in order to create spikes, blades and other tools that protrude from the armor as an offensive mechanism. These protrusions would cost a move to do and would be S rank (80 dmg) in strength overall, being able to extend into the edges of short range (5m). Due it being made of compressed Stygian Water, it can also be used as a source for other Stygian water techniques, thus making it that much more versatile in its usages. The user will also have full control over the armor to the point where he/she is able to create openings on portions of his/her body so that they can release attacks from there. I.e. retracting the armor from the hand in order to do a rasengan etc. This control in itself comes as a passive ability.

Note: Can only be used 2 times, lasting 3 turns each use.
Note: Needs a 2 turn rest period in between usages, while also limited to A rank and below Stygian Water during that period.

Ah. So this was how it ended. As Kikyo had been in the process of throwing his kick, he found himself doing something he never did; miss. Mirio had swayed a tad, and as if he'd been hypnotized, Kikyo felt a jolt of energy run through his body, seemingly for no reason. Having paid no mind to it, you wouldn't believe his expression when he figured out that he'd thrown his kick off course. His leg harmlessly flew past the opponent, and his eyed widened.

I never miss. Did he do something?

Kikyo didn't even have time to finish his thought. Within moments after missing his kick, his Overdrive petered out and he was stumbling and hazed as a result of whatever Mirio had done. By extension, Kikyo found himself unbelievably vulnerable, his muscles aching from their continued exertion. Mirio, skilled as he was, capitalized on this. Only having time to spare a glance upwards from the floor as the man leaped back, he couldn't even bring himself to try and evade.

He was finished, swaying from side to side and sweat dripping from every pour.

Kikyo's enemy, dangerous as ever, was now covered in a dark, metallic substance which resembled armor; of course, it also came with several clearly weaponized protrusions. If his guess was right, one of those spikes was aimed straight for his gut.

Stabbed? Really, I thought it'd be a bit less lame when it happened... well, it won't do just to TAKE the hit. I'll give him one more for the road.

Thus, painful as it was, Kikyo allowed his Hayaton chakra to spread throughout his body once more as he shakily made the boar handseal. This would be his last technique. As his opponent rushed him, armor clad and all, he allowed himself to look up once more. Right hand at his side, he prepared himself.

Then, in one last burst, Kikyo thrust himself forwards, using his Kekkai Genkai to amplify his speed vastly, only to appear in front of the man and throw a right hook at his face. Even prior to striking, he knew he would do nothing, but regardless, if he was going to die, he would make sure he did so while fighting.

The fist made contact with what felt like steel, and suddenly his chest felt very warm. Glancing down, Kikyo choked and coughed, the blood that was now leaking from a stab wound in his lower abdomen somehow also finding its way to his mouth. Yes, this was it. Could he even manage last words?

No, they were too much effort.

At least I didn't get killed by somebody weaker than me. That would've sucked.

And so it all faded, the greens, grays, browns and blues of the world around him all melding before simply turning to black.

I'm tired.

With the man skewered, Mirio deactivated his armor and let him fall into his arms. Once the dying man was in his arms, Mirio placed a sealing tag on him and sealed him away before he lost his life.

Description: A basic sealing technique where the user places one or more tags either directly on a target or on a technique which is restraining it. As its placed, a sealing formula spreads around the technique or the target, sealing it. This technique has been seen used with Sand ninjutsu, Earth, Water, Wood, Cloth Ninjutsu, etc but basically any technique in which you can apply the tags can be used. In the case of expert ninjas, the tags might even be incorporated into the restraining technique, with no need to actually manually place the tag or tags. Additionally, less experienced ninjas can find that throwing one or more kunais with the sealing tags attached at the technique which will trigger the same effect when the kunais stick on the technique. This prevents the target from moving, molding chakra or even being summoned.
Note: The seal takes a while to form, so most opponents can either counter the restraining technique (thus preventing the sealing formula of taking effect) or rip off the tags from themselves negating its effects entirely. If the target, however, fails to counter the restraining technique or is counter to it fails or if he doesn't remove the tags in his next move, then the seal will fully be placed and the target unable to release himself.
Note: This technique is specially designed to be used on summons and Edo Tensei Summons but will work on any opponent except Jinchurikiis.
