I once asked a group of kids (i think there was 7 of them) if they knew what Dragonball Z was....they said that they've never even heard of it. I truly feel sorry for kids nowadays. They weren't there when everything was good and the tv actually had something to watch.

I remember asking some kids at my school in 2004 if they knew what dbz was, they were like " i don't know what these balls are, or whatever" even then they didn't know about it, but i've met plenty, and i mean plenty, of kids, who know about it even now.

I also remember a "who wants to be a millionare question" the question was "what color is pikachu" he didn't know. He even made a call to another friend and even he, himself, didn't know the color, he had to theorise it. And i died.
