People are absolutely biased here. Kidōmaru stomps in both.
People have forgot him able to create web, that withstands the weight of elephants. This is excellent for capture since he does not die.
He's slow? Intercepted a Dōjutsu user (Neji -> Byakūgan), Kiba's Getsūga with Akamaru, Naruto from point blank range and Shikamaru. Also, captured all of them. Hidan lost against this Shikamaru.
Locations do not matter, he uses two poles to get in a comfortable position and shoots Arō. His Arō are fast enough to push an 360 vision degreed, with at least 50 meters distance, to corner.
Kidōmaru takes this low difficulty. Sound Five are so underrated.

Last time I checked Shikamaru stands no chance against Hidan in a fair one on one battle and Kidomaru lost to a 13Y old Neji who can't even keep up with little KCM Naruto where as Hidan is fast as well as strong enough to push Kakashi a sharingan user to his limits.

And Hyūga are best in Taijutsu of Konohagakure, in fact even strongest clan.

Yes it is, if he in fact intercepted a Taijutsu-fighter with Dōjutsu, and beated the shit out of the guy and his team until Neji came who beated Hidan.

Neji's speed rivalled that of Sasuke's. Also, Byakugan seez chakra so he can gain sight danger perception. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

Kido stomps both scenarios. Scythe isn't getting through his armor and even if he didnt have that, webs easily capture the scythe and hidan too. While Hidan may be able to tank most fatal attacks, he can't regenerate. The arrows would literally tear his body into shreds.

His armor is not permanent, and with intel on both sides Hidan can avoid all of Kidomaru's sticky traps pretty well. If kido goes long range realize that no arrow is going to ever put Hidan down when it couldn't even put neji down, no matter how much you shoot at him, so eventually Hidan would find Kido and **** his shit up lml
