One/three advantages:Good, I don't think I need to add anything more.
(Kage Buyō) - Shadow of the Dancing Leaf
Rank: C
Type: Attack
Range: Short
Chakra Cost: N/A
Damage Points: 5
Description: A technique where one follows the opponent, closely matching his or her body's movement, just like a leaf that dances in the air is followed by its shadow. The technique is usually preceded by a swift upper kick that will launch the target into the air. It is mainly used to position an opponent into a vulnerable aerial position. This move by itself is harmless, but it is usable as a stepping stone for a great many powerful techniques like Front Lotus and the Lion Combo. That said, it also has a rather high degree of difficulty.
With this one, I want you to watch for any sudden movement that my clone may make, and once that happens use it, appear beneath my clone, and perform a upper kick, kicking him into the air from there. Allowing you to have my clone in the air, giving the chance to use a combo attack on him. Go.
- 1. Surprise attack on the opponent to make him air borne.
- 2. Being air borne the opponent will find it difficult to evade the upcoming techniques.
- 3. Great initial combo technique.
- 1. Very high difficulty in performing the technique.
- 2. The damage caused by the technique itself is very less.
- 3. A raising thrust or a Regular upper cut can substitute this technique, which is less complicated.
Actually even in close combat this is a pretty useless technique. The user has to take advantage of the slightest chance give by the opponent and then quickly make an upper kick to make the clone air borne. By doing so, the clone will be in mid air, most probably his head facing upward towards the sky due to the kick in his chin. So, most probably the opponent couldnt notice even if the user appears before and behind him. So, once again the user has to make use of this little timing to execute the second technique perfectly and precisely. Its better to use a powerful technique like the Primary Lotus or a Lions barrage as the second technique, as it will be difficult for the opponent to counter in his confused and sir borne state.
How you would counter it:
There is no specific technique to counter this technique. The user has to just prevent the opponent from using this technique. i.e the user should not give any openings for the opponent, not even the slighest for the opponent to perform this technique. If the opponent succeeds in finding an opening, as the opponent tries to perform the upper kick the user may hit the rising leg of the opponent hard or use both his hand placed one over the other at his chest level beneath the chins in order to intercept the the upper kick thereby rendering the technique useless. Even if the user gets kicked and becomes airborne. In order to avoid the second technique. the user can very well use the wind stream technique in order to change his direction. or even force him towards the ground by blowing up steam of wind facing upwards towards the sky. by doing so, if the opponent was airborne too for executing his technique, the user will reach the ground before the opponent and this will give the user the big chance to take down the incoming opponent.
How you perform it (with as much detail as you can):
Now the Clone and myself start to engage in close combat. Instead of attacking the clone, I keep dodging the attacks of the clone. The clone tries to punch on my face and I dodge it by moving to my sides. Then it tries to kick in my waist, I stop it with mu left hand. As I stop the clones kick, the clone tries to punch my face with its left hand. I now quickly make use of this move and duck to avoid the attack. before the clone could even realize that I ducked, With the hand as the support, I raise my left leg with great force towards the chin of the clone from below. the clone gets hit by the attack and is now airborne. As the clone is airborne, I take a leap towards the clone and perform the Lotus on the clone inorder to finish off the clone and disperse it.
