The next technique on the list is Earth Shaking Palm, the idea behind it is pretty simple. The user will strike the ground, which will cause rocks, and a cloud of dust to arise which will distract the opponent. The user, after performing this technique can flee from the opponent, or surprise him with an attack.

Description: After performing snake hand seal the user slams their hand on the ground. The result is that the ground becomes heavily turned up with chunks of rubble popping out of the ground. This technique is used as a means to distract opponents to either create an escape or follow through with a surprise attack.

To perform this technique, coat your hand in Earth chakra. This may be done by gathering the chakra, concentrating, then continuing by channeling it through your chakra network and to your hand. Once the chakra is at your hand, strike the ground with your chakra coated hand. With the additional force from the Earth chakra, the ground will be turned up with chunks of rocks and a cloud of dust which will definately block the vision of your opponent, unless he's a doujutsu user.

*I begin channeling my Doton chakra around my body, using my right arm as the epicenter for the concentration of chakra. After building up a substantial amount of chakra, i perform the snake handseal and simultaneously slam my arm down into the ground with a tremendous amount of force. The result is rubble, dust and effectively a smog being created which masks my presence to the naked eye.*

Perfect, and you're welcome. Something you should know about that jutsu, the distraction created not only blokes the opponent's vision of you, it blocks the vision of your opponent as well. Unless you have doujutsu that is. If you are a sensor, you can sense his chakra to know where he is as well. Can I continue?

Ah yeah, i've noticied jutsus like that have the same effect on the user since its only logical for it to do so. Its why i prefer the Hiding in Camouflage technique when it comes to hiding from the opponent.

The next jutsu deals with encasing the dominant hand arm in rock. due to properties of Earth, the rock encasing has great mass, which increases the force of the user's fist. The other thing is, thanks to the rock encasing the arm, when striking certain substances/surfaces/persons, the user's hand is protected from harm such as burns or bone fracture. It's a great addition for Taijutsu techniques. It can be further strengthened by using it along with Earth Release: Added Weight Technique or the Earth Release: Super Added Weight Technique

It looks like a half-tiger/ram, is the symbol of combat and is a universal sign of engagement between shinobi. It represents half of a seal that might be used to activate a ninjutsu. Look at the seal being used in the image below

Gather your chakra then perform the Snake then Seal of Confrontation. Once done, channel the gathered chakra through your chakra network and to your arm you wish to encase. Once the chakra is at the arm, manipulate it, mold it to create a covering of Earth. As I mentioned earlier, encasing it has several advantages, the most evident being able to deal a more powerful strike.

*Envisioning the nature of doton chakra, i perform the snake handseal and seal of confrontation and then proceed to channel Doton chakra into my right arm, encasing it in a armour of stone, capable of protecting me from burns and broken bones. I then run towards a nearby tree, slamming my arm into the bark, causing a sizeable hole to ripped into the tree from the point of impact.*

Awesome job on the Rock Fist Jutsu. This technique, Earth Tunneling, is a technique used to transport oneself and others through the Earth without detection. What it does is basically creates hole in the ground large enough for you to pas through.

Description: The user after performing the required hand seals Ram → Dog → Rat → Bird is able to create a wide tunnel in the ground, this cannot travel through rock though or anything with a high density. The large tunnel that is created allows the user to transport others without detection.

To perform it, gather your Earth chakra then channel it through your chakra nework and into the ground below you. Perform the Ram → Dog → Rat → Bird , then use the chakra to manipulate the Earth, create an opening large enough for someone to pass through. The tunnel is started short range from the user, but it can extend to the widest range.

*After performing the required hand seals of Ram → Dog → Rat → Bird I visualize the jutsu in my mind, circulating my doton chakra around my body, building it up until i choose to release it down into the ground beneath me. After channeling my chakra into the ground, i envision the ground below me to opening up to form a hole in the ground, large enough for a person to go through without difficulty. I then move through the tunnel for 30 meters, constructing it as a go along until i choose to exit it, where i reopen the ground and exit, closing the hole in the ground with the same method i used to open it.*

Well done, as you should have noticed, the deeper you go downwards is the darker it gets which will temporarily make you unable to see if the enemy released something small down there (eg. small clay bombs). Since there's limited space in there, the opponent would most likely take the offensive and shoot fire/wind/lightning etc. down there. To escape such techniques, you can use Earth Release: Hiding Like a Mole Technique or Earth Release: Underground Projection Fish Technique to merge into and pass through the wall of the tunnel to escape. No problem, that's what I'm here for. I'll be teaching you these two techniques next. The first one, Flow Wave is required to perform the next technique, Violent Heavenly Earth Needle. Take note, Earth Flow Wave is a B Rank jutsu. Earth Flow Wave is a technique which allows the user to create and travel on a wave of Earth. It can be further manipulated to create a large needle which can impale the opponent.

This jutsu is basic shape manipulation, with the Flow Wave already created, channel more chakra into it, then manipulate that chakra to change the shape of the tip of the Earth Wave, forming a sharp edge. For this to be successful, you must perform the Snake handseal.

*After performing the the required hand seals of Rat → Snake → Tiger i channel my doton chakra into the ground beneath, causing it to loosen and create a wave of earth beneath my feet which can be manipulated to move about the terrain. I then move about on the wave, making sure it doesn't lose its form by continually channeling my chakra through out it and to become accustomed to moving about on the wave as a means of transport.*

*After stabilizing completely control over the wave, i perform the snake handseal, sharpening the tip of the wave to a blade-like quality, guiding it towards a nearby tree to cut through it with the needle.*

Good, good. Visualize this situation, I'm your opponent and I use that jutsu against you, aimed to pierce your heart. What would you do? What jutsu would you use to counter me?

It would either be a low-level Raiton attack or Hiding in a Mole Technique. The 1st being obvious due to breaking down the structure whilst the 2nd allowing me to travel underground without fear of them using Swamp of the Underworld (since they're on the wave and not on the ground).

This next jutsu deals with creating two walls of Earth which trap the opponent between the walls. It should be an easy one, we've already created walls of earth before, such as in the jutsu, (Doton: Doroku Gaeshi) - Earth Release: Earth Shore Return.

To perform this jutsu, gather a portion of your Earth chakra then channel it through your chakra network and into the Earth below your opponent. Perform the Snake handseal, followed by using the chakra to manipulate the existing Earth. Create two large enough walls parallel to each other, which close in on the opponent to trap him or her. Try this on a clone of mine. [Creates clone] The aim is to restrict him from moving, so please don't crush him.

*Channeling my Doton chakra through out my body, i perform the Snake Handseal and place my hands on the ground below, churning the built chakra into it, visualizing two parallel walls of Earth to be created in the process. As the walls rise up, i swiftly (but not too quickly) close up the walls on Drizzeh's clone, causing him to be firmly lodged between so he can't escape but not so much that he's crushed in the process of trapping him.*

Goodie. A suitable counter to this is not to smash the walls, but to stealthily and effortlessly pass through them, like Obito's Phasing Technique. Description: The user will manipulate their chakra releasing it into the ground and with a wave of their arm or through the application of a weapon can cause a small wall of dust particles and sand to rise up from the ground and thrusting forwards. This technique can be used to push back enemy targets or defend against thrown projectiles.

Simply put, channel your chakra into the ground, then wave your arm or a weapon to manipulate small dust particles and sand to arise. It has the power to push back opponents and even deflect basic projectiles.Ah, this is the last C Rank jutsu, so we're moving to B rank next.

*Manipulating my doton chakra, i feed it into the ground after stabilizing a good level of control. I then wave my hand, causing a small mass of dust particles to rise up from the ground forming a small wall which i propel forwards. The wall is capable of pushing back an opponent (though not significantly) and can be used against small weapons and projectiles.*
