Slavery was okay in the US 150 years ago. That's a very short time in relation to human history.
Slavery was completely different and homosexuality was considered worse than slavery. You'd be surprised that in some parts of the world, they treated slaves better than others did. But homosexuality was considered to be one of Satan's hobbies. :|

What ignorance? I should thank you instead for confirming to be among the buffoons with donkey brains who are choosing to legalize homosexuality today. It's funny because just 5 years ago, you had people rapping and making music to incite hatred against homosexuals. In England you had people giving homosexuals names such as "***", "Nancy boy", "queer" and made a laughing stock among the whole community. In Jamaica, the local people would dub you a "batty man". Even in America there were many homophobic people. So homosexuality was liked because the nature of it is just incorrect, immoral and just impractical since it yields no useful result. You cannot open a lock with another lock or use a key to open a key. There is no real logic in that. You would use a key to open a lock, suggesting a man is only suited to having sexual relations with a woman. They are made for each other. This might be hard to digest for some people but there just are some things in life which are wrong even if justifying they're right is easy.
