Kenshin desires to protect every individual from danger without harming others. Formerly from The Land of Iron he is the main target of many Samurai do to him wanting to learn Shinobi arts. Thus, he avoids letting others get too close to him personally for their own protection. However, upon arriving in Kumogakure he eventually begins relying on his friends, allowing them to fight alongside him. Kenshin is a polite person, so much so that he generally gives strangers and his friends the respect and courtesy often reserved for people of a much higher status. He feels that he fit in with other Kumogakure Shinobi due to his lightning affinity.

(Bunshin No Jutsu) - Clone Technique
Background Info.
History:
Originally born in the Land of Iron but left at the young age of Ten years old. The reason why he left is because his parents were killed in a confrontation that took place in there home village on the outskirts of the Land of Iron, between a small Samurai contingent and an unkown group of Missing-Nin. By the time a back-up squad arrived Kenshin's Mother as well as most of the village had been massacred, his Father was one of the original contingents causalities. As Kenshin's father was a Samurai, he inherited his family Katana, which is a full-length sword unlike the most commonly seen katanas in the Samurai general ranks, and was expected to take his fathers place as a Samurai. However, feeling that not being trained as a Shinobi was the reason why Kenshin could not save his parents, he opted to leave the Land of Iron in order to become a Shinobi in one of the strongest villages in the known Shinobi world, Kumogakure. This decision was not taken well by the surviving Samurai contingent that Kenshins father served with, who took it upon themselves to not let young Samurai abandon the already diminishing Samurai ways, decided that if he would not stay he would be executed without honour. Fearing for his life Kenshin quickley fled in the middle of the night, before making his final decision known to the Samurai, and went to Kumogakure. As a way of morning his parents he gave himself his iconic X-shaped scar on his left cheek. Upon arriving at Kumogakure, Kenshin vowed to protect everyone close to him at all costs, making this his Nindo. Kenshin moved quickly though the Academy and graduated close to the top of his class, partly due to his already developed muscle structure and agility that he learnt through his brief Samurai training. (Although he had already begun his Samurai training, this did not cover any Samurai sword techs, only basic self defence). His Nindo made Kenshin a valuable asset to his team, always returning with his full Squad. The success of Kenshin's missions allowed him to move through the ninja ranks with relative ease, eventually becoming a Jounin. Kenshin kept his families Katana as a reminder of why he left the Land of Iron, in battle it serve as a reminder of his Nindo to always protect those close to him.
