I wish I could call it Kenpachi's Family tree but I can't... we simply know nothing about them.... but looks like Narita was right. Kenpachi = core secret of this show ''all information is 2 yo'' :shrug:

according to kubo, when he draw bleach, he leaves few secrets in the manga that he expect few readers to notice.

there are total 4 levels of secrets

first level is the easiest, he expected every reader to be able to notice it
the second level is a bit harder, about 1 in 4 people to 1 in 10 people can notice it
the third level is even harder, probably only 1 in a thousand can see though it


now, to the last level, which according to kubo, is something he put in from the beginning and something he intend to reveal in the grand finale of the manga, something he thought no one would be able to decipher
and that is... ZARAKI's TRUE POWER LEVEL

by looking on power of previous Kenpachis it's easy to assume that they all we're Hax... it Zaraki is probably superior to them all.

* Unohana 1st Generation Kenpachi ?

we know nothing interesting but here's what I found little naive but interesting
At this point we do know Unohana's ability can create a manta. Who is to say that her bankai can't create a younger child-like version of herself in Yachiru and that she has perpetually kept her bankai running for 100s of years. It could be that Yachiru was created to control Kenpachi so he didn't become a threat to SS.

*Kuruyashiki Kenpachi (7th Generation Kenpachi)
His bankai ability is

ability is to destroyed/crushed all living things and non living things within the area of certain radius ( several times bigger than Karakura Town).
But once he have use it, he can’t release it within half a year
(meaning, he only can use his bankai once every 6 months)
During his battle with Azashiro Kenpachi, Shunsui and 11th division members were there, so he did not use his bankai.
According to 46 chamber, his bankai is forbidden in Sereitei, but the problem is his shikai is extremely powerful as well.

*Azashiro Kenpachi ( the 8th Generation Kenpachi)
His bankai ability is

(融合) “fusion/merge” , and the area is the entire of Sereitei hence he is able to see through all situation and to hear everyone’s conversation.
Besides, he can produced a blade/razor from the air, killing his enemy with no motion. (eg: the moment his enemy releases shikai, he chops down his enemy’s tongue)
Finally, he has an ultimate attack call “ living body fusion” (生体融合), by opposing his enemy he can destroy his enemy’s internal body, an attack that even can damage himself.
Kuruyashiki Kenpachi was defeated by this attack.
As for defensive, Azashiro can fused with the air, hence all the slash from his enemy has no effect on him.
Every captain class shinigami from the past attacks him with their move (not include Uki and Shun), but Azashiro did not receive any injuries.
However, he surrendered when noticing an intervation from the Zero squads.
It seems like there is a different level between the Zero squad and Captain.
Because he can imitate/copy his mouth and hands within each spaces, he is able to chant hundreds of “ittokaso”, “kurohitsugi” level kido at the same time.

When i first saw him beat the ever living crap out of ichigo during his attempt to rescue rukia i was like yes there is a god and he doesn't let the main guy win every time ! Even though ichigo "won" i still consider kenpachi the winner of that match who else agrees ?

It was a plot. Kenny defeated every single enemy that isn't protected by a plot on HARD MODE - EASY WAY

I feel like he did that because he wanted to be known as terror itself amd bring back the kenpachi name to what unohana had built it up to be.

Well we won't know for sure of he is the most powerful, but who knows....I personally love Unohana so I'm hoping she doesn't just get put under Kenpachi after teaching him Kendo XD...But yes Kenpachi is an interesting secret that we are going to figure out rather soon.

it's interesting how everyone knew fosho that Unohana is one of the top 3 strongest Captains but yet never seen her fight. That's actualy one of the reasons I'm neutral to her... she just havent show anything epic yet... while Kenny just done alot of epic stuff :3

I think unohana was just like him but after she got her bankai she got interested on healing and lost her bloody ways so I believe kempachi would get a bankai that wont change his way maybe the spirit will be crazy like ichigo hollow

I wonder if Zaraki would even use his BANKAI if it would be powerful. It's like his lutherans, they have bankais but they hide it from him... for known reason...
But the best BANKAI for Kenny would be something like Ichigos.. some kind of a form he could transform to
