"Thank you, Sensei. Interesting. I had a general idea about the ranges. Yes, I am aware that I have to be careful of Taijutsu, EIG, Jyuuken and other Kenjutsu users in short range. My fighting style is usually mid-long range, but with Kenjutsu, I hope I will learn mastering short range fighting. Mid-ranged Kenjutsu? We need more of those!", said Tenzo, as he placed his blade on the ground and relaxed his muscles. All the sword swinging had strained him a little bit. Getting back up after some time, he bent down and held his sword again. He listened carefully to his Sensei's instructions, as he walked back and jumped, reaching roughly about 6 meters from his Sensei, as his teacher followed the same. After which, he held the sword in his dominant hand, it's edge facing downwards.

He then remembered his time spent with Kakashi and Asuma, and thought about the art of flowing chakra into his blade. He had done so previously, demonstrating the same while performing some attacks on the clone. But, this time, he had to not merely channel chakra into the blade. He pictured Asuma's instructions of how to channel chakra into the blades perfectly, remembering how his chakra blades had cut through cleanly through trees and rocks. Focusing on that, he gathered a good amount of chakra, and channeled it to his sword, as the overflow of chakra caused it to flow outside the blade. Just as this happened, his Sensei formed a single handseal and released a water projectile at him, roughly the size of a small sphere. As the sphere took flight and came towards him in a linear path, he outstretched his right hand and bent slightly down, swinging the blade in a circular manner in front of him. The sudden swing of the blade had caused the chakra present outside the blade to give off a red aura, as it looked like an extension of his blade. The aura of chakra connected with the water projectile exactly at the centre and altered it's trajectory making it go sidewards, after which it burst, resulting in the water particles to fall on the ground.

Question: Upto what rank of projectiles does it block? And, what kind of damage does the chakra arc cause when it comes in contact with a shinobi's body?

For techniques and shit, you can either use the template or the other method, I've trained you a few times. So go with what you want. ^^

(Suraisu Shinku no Nami) - Slicing Crimson Wave
Rank: B
Type: Offensive
Range: Mid
Chakra cost: 20
Damage points: 40
Description: The user does a simple cresent-shaped slash at the opponent, expelling a red chakra wave.

This one is one of the more used techniques, since it is straight forward and well easy to pull off, what I want you to do is, gather your chakra in your blade and from there, I want you slash downwards to release a crescent shaped slash, at my clone. This technique releases a red wave of chakra, it's handy for targets that are at mid-range of you, and just an overall good technique.

What's the last one? ;_;

(Kusanagi no Tsurugi: Chidorigatana) - Grass Cutter Sword: One Thousand Birds Katana
Rank: B
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 20
Damage points: 40
Description: The user flows Chidori current through a katana in manner similar to flying swallow technique. The Radiating and chirping blade can easily cut through steel. Furthermore, the body of the person cut by the sword goes numb, taking away their freedom of movement.

Fairly simple technique, you can explain it.

Kenjutsu: Hiraishin is the last one. :3

Explain? Sweet.

Quite a simple technique. First, the user gathers Chidori in his hands and flows it to the weapon of his choice. After that, the electricity rushes through the blade, and reaches outward(short range) and shocks whatever comes in contact with it. Due to Lightning channeled through the blade, it's cutting power is increased and can easily cut through steel, which is a good counter against Steel Release techniques in short range. When an opponent charges at the user, he can simply outstretch his blade and paralyze the opponent there and then, the electricity flowing through his body and numbing his body parts, contracting his muscles. Useful in short range to quickly keep the opponent in place and then follow up with a finishing attack.

Oh my bad. @_@

Well done as always.

(Chakura Bōsekiken) - Chakra Spinning Blade
Rank: B
Type: Offensive
Range: Short - Mid
Chakra cost: 20
Damage points: 40
Description: The user will channel chakra into their sword making it glow blue and then jumping into the air they spin at a rapid rate creating a spinning circle and cutting through the enemy target.

Okay with this last technique that I can teach you, I want you to gather your chakra into your blade which will made the blade glow blue, from there I want you then to jump into the air and make yourself spin very fast, allowing you to cut threw your target, this technique looks useful, but I guess the fact you have to jump in the air to use it is, a bit of a downside.

Once more, it's quite easy. A good amount of chakra is built up in the body, which is channeled to the blade, via hands. The resulting chakra channeling causes the blade to glow with a bright blue aura. This is because the chakra channeled through the blade has a lot of power that overtakes and rushes out of the weapon itself. The chakra acting as the 'extension' of the blade as the before technique, thus the range being 'mid', unlike normal Kenjutsu techniques which go only upto short range. Once this process happens, the user jumps into the air and spins violently, outstretching his blade and cuts through the enemy target. Due to the violent rotation, the blade gains speed and it's cutting power is increased. Also, since the rotation encompasses a complete circle, the area of impact is 360 degrees, which is quite great. Also, this technique has more cutting damage than a regular Kenjutsu technique since it's chakra charged.

Last one!

( Kenjutsu: Hirashin ) - Sword Technique: Lightning Rod
Rank: A
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 30
Damage points: N/A
Description: The user by use of a sword can use it as a rod to attract lightning currents that are channeled into the user from opponents attacks and by pointing the tip of the blade into the ground the user is then able to dispel the lightning charge nullifing the effects of paralysis. However this only works on free flowing lightning based techniques such as the Chidori current and not on focused lightning based techniques

Pretty much attracts lighting techniques towards the blade. But the only lighting techniques that work with this technique are free flowing ones.

Finally. With this technique, my basic training is completed! :T_T:

So, in this one, the user outstretches his sword, and the sword acts a 'rod' for lightning currents, i.e. free flowing Lightning currents like Chidori are attracted towards the sword, after which the user can dispel it by pointing the tip towards the ground and thereby avoiding paralysis. The advantage here is that the user can completely avoid being paralyzed with the help of his sword, however, the drawback is that he needs to react in time to take out his blade and point it in the direction of the current. If he's not fast enough, then he's obviously paralzyed. Another drawback is that, it only works on unfocused Lightning techniques, like Chidori: Nagashi and stuff. Doesn't work on focused techniques like Raikiri. Useful in short range when the opponent uses Chidori to paralyze the user. You can pretty much channel lightning from your body towards the sword, thus ending the paralysis soon.
