The best to defend against I could think of is using Earth Pillar or Lightning Jutsus which are capable of making him fall halfway since the Opponent can't see us properly. Even a few side steps could do.

Yes, good. You got it right on the head. His vision will be hampered unless he some sort of dojutsu because he will be spinning.

One of my favorite techniques. On downward arc of your jump, hold your sword with both hands with the blade facing directly downwards. You basically just plunge through the top of my clone's skull.

When I notice a clone near to me, I jump into the Mid-Air and draws out my sword and holds it with both of my hands before me. While Holding it, I face the sharp point of the sword towards the Opponent and falls downwards in upside down type and drills into the Clone's head causing it to disappear.

When I locate a clone near to me, I dash towards it and and punches it a few times using both of my hands at the chest area and quickly places my right hand on the sword handle and draws it. Then I quickly draws it and slashes the Clone two times.
While the clone is injured a lot, I grab the advantage and sheathes my sword back into the holder placed onto the right hip. Then I quickly grab my tanto and jump a little above the land and spins around 360 degrees along with the tanto and slashes the Clone several times causing the clone to disappear.

I start to gather my Raiton Chakra into my Right hand and manipulates it to create a Lightning Ball as big as a Rasengan. Then I throw it towards the clone which got shocked a bit when the ball touched him.
(Raiton: Raikyu) - Lightning Release: Lightning Ball
Then I dash towards it and punches it a few times using both of my hands at the chest area and quickly places my right hand on the sword handle and draws it. Then I quickly draws it and slashes the Clone two times.

You could run at my clone while you make the lightning ball in order to lessen the time it takes for you to strike him with your second technique.

Bash them with the hilt, and then hit them with a few kicks, the last one pushing them into the air. Then run to their landing spot, and smash them into a boulder. If there is nothing on your terrain, hitting them into the ground works too.

(Bakuchi Tori Kuzu Oujou) – Gambling Bird Arrowroot Death
I look around to check the terrain to see any good and bad news. To my horror, I just got bad news. But I get excited on hearing the good news that it works on any terrain of sort. Then I create a clone of myself a little far from me and makes it to chat with me. While the clone is chatting, I get angry on it because of the words it spoke, "I will rule the world!!". Then I quickly appear before the clone and draws out my sword and turns the sword's blade at the back end and hits the clone's stomach using the sword's handle causing a little amount of blood to ooze out. After doing that sword handle thing, I say "This will not be enough". Then I place my sword back into my sword holder and lifts my right leg and kicks the clone at the chest area. Then I start to spin around before kicking the clone increasing the power of my kicks due to the momentum. I use the spinning round house kick and kicks the clone 5 times delivering it into the air. Looking at it, I starts to calculate the location where the clone will fall down to. Realizing the location, I check the time when it reaches the ground and waits for it. After 3 seconds, I dash towards the landing spot and steps back a few steps waiting for the clone to arrive from the clear sky. When the clone is near to the ground, I punch the clone at the stomach using my right hand delivering a severe blow and breaking a few ribs including the back to be injured due to the impact on the ground it fell on. "You are done for"
