Nathan you never have a dull sig xD
One/three advantages: :
At first I was a bit lost with the technique because I wasn't sure how I was supposed to hit with the handle, but alan got me a visual aid and I feel like I understand it now. Ok now onto the advantages! The trigger or start of the technique seems a lot faster and overall more user friendly as initiating the technique seems to be a lot easier to pull off then some of the other techniques I have learned thus far.Speed is obviously a cornerstone of this tech and as such depending on the user current level of speed or even with enhancements the user can easily build on the technique through speed or strength enhancements. Also as you mentioned the technique is a cluster in one.The technique has many parts first the hit of the handle then the kicks send the opponent to the air and ending it with the clone falling and the user punching the opponent sending him far away.As a result each individual component of the tech is easily able to do damage alone making it so that even if the user was not able to pull of the full sequence of events damage could be done nonetheless.
Drawbacks/counters:
As you stated,a Domino effect is embedded into the technique meaning the sequence of events rely on one another to work.If the start of the technique "The hit by the Handle" does not connect that's essentially screwing up the whole technique as the whole tech was built on that starting move in fact that starting move is actually the only move associated with ken or a sword in general. Another disadvantage is running while I made it somewhat seem as if it were an advantage that was not my intent my intention was to show that speed of the tech and the alteration of it are not the actual running. With all the talk lately of Running able to be counted as an offensive move I couldn't help but list this as a disadvantage. While running the user is easily susceptible to counter attacks ranging from simple shuriken to various jutsu all able to harm or screw up the moves.A fireball Causes the user to stop and defend an earth tremor gets the ninja off balance and easily stops the move before it had a chance of starting.Another Drawback is something I both personally like and dislike like as for when I am Defending against it and dislike as in when im preforming.Being that the initiating move is a simple extension of the handle to hit the user ways in which this is done I find very limited a straight extension making it an easy move to perceive if the opponent is into details or god forbid an uchiha defending against the tech becomes sharingan 101.
How you would use it in battle:
With my explanations I tend to often include the presence of a clone,as I find the level of success higher with them on the field. However for this technique I don't really see myself using a clone at all.I see myself using this directly no trick no gimmicks just a nice starting move to commence the battle.Directly running towards the opponent and commencing the move although I find that having that cranked lightning Armour could be quite useful just in case the opponent gets the upper hand and tried a quick counter using tai.
How you would counter it:
I briefly mentioned this in the disadvantages.Being an uchiha I have the luxury of great eyes "The Sharingan" and therefore great reflexes. These Reflexes easily allow me to anticipate the simple starting sequence of the tech which is the the straight extension of the handle of the sword to hit me,something that is already easily perceivable. The sharingan just tones up the level of success detail and timing. However im pretty sure you don't like counters associated with things such as bloodlines,so Ill also list counters achievable by all ninja. An obvious weak point in the tech is the running although the distance remains short a number of techniques can be preformed in that interval of time that could easily stop the technique while the opponent is running. The one I mentioned being A jutsu such as one that causes an earth tremor having the running ninja fall off balance.
Perform the technique:
The calm atmosphere of the terrain is broken as Yusei jets toward his opponent after shrouding himself in an armor of lightning. Once Close enough Yusei extends the handle of his sword hitting the clone as he then delivers a series of kicks that knock the clone into the air.Only to have it punched as its falling its falling down, sending it a good distance away with some shocking damage into the mix due to the lightning infused kick and punch from Yusei's lightning shrouded body.
