Its a simple but surprising attack in my opinion, it seems easy to preform yet i find this unexpected as it mixes two elements basic free form punches with basic kenjutsu sword swings.Whats great about this tech In particular is it can be combined with basic free form fighting or taijutsu,allowing the user to quickly surprise from changing blunt fists to a sword attack in a matter of seconds.Not only that but the Punches themselves can do damage.For example whats stopping the user from surrounding himself in a plasma ball punching the target shocking/paralyzing them then finishing them with two final slashes from their sword.In Essence if used correctly it can essentialy have the effect of 2 moves.
Drawbacks/counters:
I mentioned above how i saw the punching as a plus but in reality,the punches can be viewed in a different way.Being that the tech starts with punches,its not smart to use it against someone who already has a weapon out, a bear fist vs a sharp sword,thats a bad match up.Obviously when the user punches they are supposed to make direct contact with the opponents body,which can be very dangerous if the opponent has safety precautions like a armor of lighting or fire,it could backfire the whole move and be used to the opponents advantage.

Ok before I start I just gotta point out how fitting the name is,it suits the tech perfectly lol. Ok so another tech consisting of a simple action,the user jumps and pointing his sword downwards he thrusts it into the opponents skull.Like the name suggests this move is similar to that of falling water meaning the higher I am in the air the force I fall down with as I thrust my sword into his skull.Also as you mentioned its a good technique to chain into a sequence of events for example I use a gust of wind to evade an attack and now I find myself in the air,oh what to do oh what to do,I know Ill break his skull open.Its also a nice way to use a clone Ill go in depth in my performance because I have a cool combo in mind.
Drawbacks/counters:
Well the whole technique requires the user must be in the air,and that's not always a luxury one can just decide to have in battle.Preforming this move out of the blue is a hasty decision,and one that is easily counterable.Example-I run towards you,jump and try to preform the technique and you respond by covering yourself in a shroud of lightning.The lightning travels through the blade as a medium and me holding it,I cant help but be shocked/electrocuted. Meaning this is a tech that needs to be timed perfectly and isnt just any attack you can place into a battle.Also the jumping factor comes into play,it doesn't mention it exactly but it says from mid-air so to me that means their has to be a the certain point where the technique becomes dangerous,meaning If I coming downwards from short air it wont have nearly the same affect and might not even be considered viable,atleast that's what I think,feel free to correct me if im wrong.And lastly as I mentioned before the user,must take notice to when he is hitting the user things such as him shrouding himself in an element can have a terrible effect on the user like lightning being channeled through the blade and shocking the user.
How you would use it in battle:
Here ill go in depth about that combo I was talking about earlier.Well Fist I would create a clone,but a secretive one,one unknown to the enemy.I would then have transform into a large windmill shuriken like naruto did.I would then throw it exactly above the user that way its in mad-air yet above the user so there's no need to dodge it then the shuriken transforms once again into the clone which preforms the actual technique.
How you would counter it:Seeing how this tech involves the user punching therefore making direct contact through the use of their fists,i would cover myself in an elemental armor/shroud.
