Alucard walks towards a building in Konoha. The sign on the house clearly said.

"Here we teach KinKenjutsu"

"Is this the part where my teacher will come out and say; I used to be a ninja like you, then i took a tnj to the bodeh"

Alucard walked towards the entrance and noticed a guy in the shadows with a huge mop-liked haircut.

"I was under the impression the schooling would take place insidethelocal but if you insist. That is if you're my trainer right?"

Alucard stared at the man and waited.

Why does it have to be in Konoha though? e_e

Anyway, let's start with the basics. Explain, in your own words of course, what is:

-A Ninja

-Chakra

-Ninjutsu

-Taijutsu

-Kenjutsu

I'd have you describe more but this is mainly for just kenjutsu, so a shortened list was made.

Because i said so U_U

Why does all my trainers need to know what this is? Who's teaching really ~_~

Alucard closed his eyes for a sec..

"A ninja(LOL) opened his eyes and looked at his teacher...
Also known as shinobi is an individual, a fighter who's prepared to sacrifice all for his allied village. They're taught in what we call ninjutsu, which includes the other topics you so needed me to describe ~_~. A ninja utilizes and relies on chakra in their battles, not all but most do(refrains from taijutsu users such as Rock Lee). Each ninja has their own specialties. They can favor a certain element beside the other, some are born with blood-line limits also known as Kekkei Genkai. These are strong combinations of nature elements or hidden abilities such as clan ninjutsu and/or dojutsu such as Byakugan. Or that other emo eye sha..something..
But like i said, a ninja is a "soldier" or intel gatherer, spy. You name it, they get tasks from their ninja leader aka the kage of their village. They do these missions and are most important loyal to their village, some more loyal to their village than their families(wtf).

Chakra(Hm, i didn't think sword-arts relied on this subject that much but oh well)
Chakra is what gives ninja "life" to their abilities, it's the energy that ninjas project into jutsus. It's a spiritual energy that every ninja has but not all can use it. It takes a serious amount of training to project chakra into actual jutsus and even longer to utilize nature transformation that would allow a ninja to transform raw chakra into fire chakra or air chakra. Raw chakra itself can be used in many ways and is the course of Ninjutsu. A ninja can focus their chakra to climb trees by utilizing their chakra in their feet acting like a grip under their feet. A ninja can transform chakra they've gathered into spikes, shields and weapons to use in battle.

Ninjutsu. The utility of chakra, the arts of ninjas and projection of power. This is what ninjas relies on in battle. They gather up their spiritual energy and projects it into ninjutsu. As far as we know, you can also transform your chakra into five individual elements. Fire, rock, air, water and lightning. These can later be combined via bloodline limits or by extremely skilled ninjas who have mastery of the two/three elements of combination. However this is an extremely difficult process and requires time and patience. Two things that not all ninja acquires in their ninja ways >_>.

Taijutsu is another ninja art. It doesn't necessarily rely on chakra and is thus based on physical power. More than spiritual one. That means it doesn't drain the ninjas chakra reserves as much as ninjutsu, but instead it drains stamina. However there's more to taijutsu than just that, you can use it to break genjutsus(which are ninjutsu that paralyzes the opponents body or makes them see illusions by utilizing the chakra from the user into the mind of their opponent). Taijutsu can also help a skilled ninja avoiding eye contact, which is necessary in a fight with certain dojutsu users. Especially those of the mangekyo emo gaze U_U. Taijutsu training also increases the ninjas physique and thus grants speedboosts and close-combat experience. There's also free-form taijutsu that lets ninjas dodging weapons flawlessly or creates dangerous combinations of physical offenses/defenses.

Kenjutsu is the art that i so far lack any training in. It's the art of weapons, mostly swords i assume. The masters of kenjutsu would be the samurai, who completely rely on their kenjutsu in battle instead of ninjutsu/taijutsu. The arts of weapons could be used in many ways since ninja also can carry weapons but lack of kenjutsu training i believe doesn't unlock the weapons full potential and would make the ninja carrying weapons feel like they're carrying a pair of socks instead. I don't know much of these arts, but i am sure that's where you come in mophead >_>.

It's to see what you know about the basics of the RP, which you seem to be off on in some points.

Well, a ninja doesn't necessarily have to be allied to a village. Chakra is the combination of spiritual and physical energy. Utilizing this chakra is often through either Ninjutsu, genjutsu or taijutsus. One can mold this chakra for jutsus and Shape Manipulation can occur, which gives the chakra a definite shape and form and Nature Manipulation can cause it to take on traits of the elemental affinity channeled.

The others are okay for the most part, just small mistakes here or there but no biggie. The main thing to note though is in relation to your answers for Taijutsu and Kenjutsu.

Taijutsu is the field of using one's own body for attacking. It's ideal for close range and inflicting direct damage. In close range, it's more useful than ninjutsu due to how ease it is to move the body to punch, kick, strike, etc than it is to form a handseal and then attack. Speed boosts aren't a trait of taijutsu alone as this can be acheived through ninjutsu and even nintaijutsu as well as some fuuinjutsu seals performing the same effect. Taijutsu itself has nothing to do with breaking genjutsu or avoiding eye contact; any field can break genjutsu if used right, that isn't a trait of just genjutsu. Avoiding eye sight has little to do directly with taijutsu, it is more so an "ability" learned once one has mastered taijutsu, but only in that way does it relate to taijutsu. Kenjutsu is an extension of taijutsu, using one's sword to cause damage. Basic kenjutsu, the application of using non chakra enhanced kenjutsu, can essentially be used by anyone, much like the general field of taijutsu. Kenjutsu that require the use of chakra to fuel the jutsus or elaborate attacks utilizing swords requires training on how this should be done.

To use a sword efficiently is to use taijutsu efficiently. Without proper skill in taijutsu, kenjutsu usage will never be as great as it could be. Your sword is an extension of your arm, after all. Since this is a taijutsu related field, I tend to take the trainings more seriously and as such, trolling and spamming around aren't going to be allowed. That being said, let's begin.

One-handed Techniques:
  • Basic Horizontal
  • Basic Vertical
  • Basic Stab
Two-handed Techniques:
  • Basic Horizontal
  • Basic Vertical
  • Basic Lunge
Movement:
  • Side-stepping
  • "Arc"-stepping
  • Some other movements
Defense
  • Parries
  • Blocks
  • Countering
Advanced:
  • Taijutsu Integration
Graduation Spar

This will be the progress of the training. To begin, what form of sword do you feel most comfortable using, a katana, longsword, broadsword, etc? That'll be the one we go through training with

Speed boosts aren't a trait of taijutsu alone
Hm..

Speed increasing:
Taijutsu user: +2 lvls
Taijutsu master: +3 lvls

O__O

Taijutsu itself has nothing to do with breaking genjutsu or avoiding eye contact; any field can break genjutsu if used right, that isn't a trait of just genjutsu.
Hm..

Release Rules:

Now, this can be done in 3 basic ways:

1- Altering the balance between physical and spiritual energies in your chakra by disturbing your physical energy. This is done by producing pain. Pain comes from the body and thus it makes your physical energy fluctuate by "shocking" your body. Because of this fluctuation, your chakra flow experiences a spike. This spike is a disturbance that will dispel other disturbances present in your chakra by unbalacing its flow and reseting it to its normal flow. The higher the pain, the bigger the spike. The more resistant or accostumed to pain your bio is, the less effect this has. Kaguya bios for example have a very high tolerance to pain, making them unsuited for this release method. While genjutsu can mimic pain or any other sensation, it will always pale against real sensations. While Pain is subjective, certain guidelines can be followed.
D Rank Genjutsu: Chipping a Finger (like one does as he bites to draw blood for a Summoning Jutsu)
C Rank Genjutsu: Low level Physical Attacks, Bitting a chunk of your Cheek
B Rank Genjutsu: Low ranked Taijutsu/Freestyle
A Rank Genjutsu: High ranked Taijutsu, Stabbing Yourself in minor muscle, Cutting yourself, Breaking Smaller bones, Low level Burning/Voltage, Painful Cold
S Rank Genjutsu: EIG/Sage level Taijutsu, Breaking Bones, Deep Stabs or cuts, Medium Voltage/Burning, Extreme Painful Cold, Bitting your tongue off

O____O

o use a sword efficiently is to use taijutsu efficiently. Without proper skill in taijutsu, kenjutsu usage will never be as great as it could be.
Does this mean there are ranges of free-form kenjutsu?

I'd say a broadsword is pretty fitting. I also like archery, but thats not covered in Kenjutsu i believe.

You still misunderstand; "Speed boosts aren't a trait of taijutsu alone" means that speed boosts aren't exclusive to taijutsus alone. There exist Fuuinjutsus that enhance your speed, there are Lightning and Wind jutsus as well. Taijutsu isn't the only field that gives speed boosts so it's not really a trait of taijutsu by itself. Same as with the line about genjutsu: Taijutsu can break genjutsu indeed, but it's not the only field that does. You can use a full body surge of Fire jutsu, use Senjutsu, or a foreign source of chakra to break them. The art of Taijutsu, and kenjutsu by extension, in it's core has nothing to do with Genjutsu or avoiding eye contact. It's about hand to hand combat, might and skill to it's greatest to win. We're able to avoid eye contact as well as release from some Genjutsu with Taijutsu but it's not really a trait of Taijutsu, which is what I was saying. z.z

And no, archery is not really a field we teach as there are no canon Kyujutsus that can be really taught on a wide scale lol. I like broadswords, though I favor a katana myself. Find it...idk, easier lol.

Anywayyyyy......we need to see what you have! Grab a broadsword from the wall and follow me. =D

*walks into an arena*

It's the Flavian Amphitheatre! Or the Coliseum! Not exactly a Greek place...but it'll do. No wait!

*walks away and cross sea*

It's Sparta! Kenjutsu usage is big here in this city-state; it's one of the pillars of life actually. Sparta is well known for its brutal way of life and love of war. There are a group of men who will attack you at the first chance they get, 5 of them. I want to see your current skills in use, defeat them or die because they seem to have noticed you and are coming your way.

*5 Spartans rush towards you, swords drawn and angry*

Alucard witnessed five shitfaced mandolls running towards him. They where so angry over absolutely nothing that they didn't seem to know what they had gotten themselves into.

Fair enough, Alucard grabbed his broadsword from his back and threw it towards the men. Two of them was cleaved in half and the other three stopped for a secound and looked at their comrades bodies. Alucard didn't stand still, he rushed towards his sword and picked it up again, while finding himself surrounded by the good, the bad and the ugly(although all three where ugly..). Alucard then gripped the sword with both his hands, adding extreme control of the blade as he then was attacked by one of the men who had a katana. Unfortunately for him, the broadsword was more powerful and so the Katana broke and Alucard decapitated him easily. The rest of the two then backed up for a combined assault with their katanas. As both of them rushed towards Alucard, he made a back flip and landed behind them as they where continuously running forward. Without realizing, they continued rushing forward like *******s and was an easy target for Alucard as he then threw away the sword like the first time and cleaved both of them in half.

That was okay at best, but try again. Something I should point out: Taijutsu and Kenjutsu are descriptive styles, requiring you to be thorough in explanations of what you do and how you do it. It's okay to say you swing your sword at a foe. It's much more clearer and better when you say things like you use your right hand, holding the sword in a reverse grip, and slash downwards from right to left, hitting their left shoulder and going down to their right hip. Detail makes all the difference. ;)
