My bad Drizzy

Anyways, now describe to me what a stab is, and why it is important.
A stab is a thrust of any object/weapon with intent to bore, rip or damage any person or thing. It's important because by targeting specific areas of the body, it can deal massive damage and can even result in death.

Good. Stabs are not very powerful, but they are quick, and if one lands a blow on the right place-can be quite fatal.

So, please demonstrate a stab for me on the training dummy with your bokken. Make sure to specify where you stab it.

I grip the bokken, holding it in both my hands. I then charge towards the dummy, I hold the sword in a straight forward manner. The tip pointing straight towards the dummy. As soon as I reach in range, I perform a spin to quickly move directly behind the dummy. This done to target a lethal area. I perform a stab on the back of the dummy. On a human, this area would be the spinal chord/backbone.

Ok, now since we earlier distinguished the difference between what a one handed and a two handed slash is, why don't you demonstrate for me a Two Handed Horizontal Slash on the dummy.

*I adequately grip the bokken. I the charge towards him, along with great speed and force, though less maneuverability, I diagonally slash the dummy on the right side of his neck.*

A sudden forward thrust of the body, typically with an arm outstretched to attack someone or seize something.
Yeah, pretty much:

Stabs are less powerful, but can have a higher fatality, due to their speed- you can get in and out, quickly. But, they do also cover a shorter distance.

Lunges are full-body, where as stabs use only your arms; so, they have much more power behind them, but also leave you open, due to the way that can be preformed.

This woman demonstrates a very good lunge in SPORT fencing. Being as this is battle training, our form is a bit different - your movement will be quicker, harsher, and you'll most likely flair your arm diagonally behind you to stabilize instead of diagonally behind you.
