I once take out my sword from it's sheath and start to run towards your direction while holding my sword in my right hand, the grip being firm and solid, there lays an another sword which is hanging to the left of my hip, as I close in the distance between I extend my right hand a little out wards and keep it at my shoulder height and slowly move my left hand near to the jilt of my second sword, as I get in striking range I use my right handed sword to perform a diagonal slash moving from right to left in one swift motion, and as soon as I initiate this strike I very swiftly unsheathe my second sword using my left hand and quickly spin my wrists and get my hand in an appropriate position to strike and perform a vertical slash using it, which is aimed for your belly and comes in from a left to right direction.
Your left and right, or my left and right?
Not bad though. You overcomplicate things a bit, but the move itself is pretty solid. I gotta tell you though; unsheathing the sword haning at your
left hip with your
left hand is no easy feat, but I think you pulled it off well.
*I jump back to a longer distance from you holding my sword with my right hand I begin charging towards you with my sword pointing downwards although held at an angle where it doesnt drag along the ground, as I begin closing in on you I try to find any openings to exploit as I notice you holding the sword on your left side I quickly grab my sword with both hands and raise it slightly above my chest pointing to my left and bring down a swift slash that looks like I am going to slash your leftside of your abdomen but instead I move the sword outwards away from your body a bit and continue slash at your legs hopefully catching you off guard*
Like Gitanshu; not bad. Your description is a bit mechanical, but that'll come with practise ^^
Now, I'm sorry for not having responded 0_0 I don't even know. Some threads, it seems, just hide themselves from me. I've subscribed to the thread now; so it won't happen again.
Anyway, I want you guys to pick a Kenjutsu technique, describe its inner workings, its advantages and its disadvantages. Just one each.
