Appearing in a blind flash behind the shinobi, sword unsheathed and raised to the shinobi's throat, Kakuzu proceeds to question him about his knowledge on Kenjutsu.

Man, this guy is serious!
Kenjutsu literally translate to "way of the sword", it was formed by the samurai from as far back as the Edo period and was primarily used throughout the wars at the time. Kenjutsu was later branched into two main modern styles; Kendo (the way of the sword) and Iaido (One with the sword) during the 20th to 21st century. Now during the countless fueds between shinobi and samurai, the shinobi later developed their own form of Ninja Kenjutsu which comprised of various weapons from the Ninjato, Ninjaken to the famous Shinobigatana.
That being said, a shinobi who mastered all of kenjutsu and even Nitōjutsu (double katana) was considered Godlike and was greatly adored. Of course in the Narutoverse kenjutsu is another fighting style capable of great damage, especially when infused with ninjutsu or elemental chakra.

I couldn't care less. Whether you're the founder of Kenjutsu or a veteran Samurai, in my Dojo all of this is meaningless.
(Ken Rendan no Jutsu) - Sword Barrage Technique
For your first technique, I want you to hit me with a sequence of slashes using your blade, before ending the frenzy with a final slash to my neck. Fear not, I'm going to keep my skin hardened throughout the usage of your technique, so I won't feel a thing. To give some realism, I'm going to feign pain and pretend that each of your hits have an effect on me.
Key Points: Despite the simplicity of my explanation, you must fill in the blanks so to say. Specify which hand you wield the blade with, the direction of the slashes (don't have to specify for random slashes and frenzies) and so on.
(Ikari Nomikomu no Jutsu) - Fury Swallow Technique
In quick succession, you will then punch me a few times before finishing with two final slashes with your sword, aiming them to deal fatal damage. Firmly gripping my sheathed sword with my right hand I pull it as hard as I can into a beginning horizontal strike, then I bring back down the sword in a vertical strike, followed by a another diagonal strike until my barrage of slashes has reached its pinnacle. Then grip my blade with both hands and deliver a final, powerful blow to your neck in a horizontal motion.

Just as I expected of you, make sure to invest that much effort and concentration in all of the techniques you perform. You will gain much more of this training session that way.
( Enjin Ranbu ) - Circular Wild Dance
Now, I'd like you to spin in the clockwise motion on the spot, striking me with his tanto with each successive revolution, making sure to target a new location with every spin. You will do this a total of five times. You have freedom of choice to choose the locations you strike, but the fifth and final strike must be aimed towards underneath my chin, sending me up into the air and setting up for your next technique usage.
( Rakkasui ) - Falling Water
While I'm airborne, you will jump up and pursue me, quickly overtaking my position before unsheathing your blade once more. Point your blade down towards me, before striking me with it and drilling me back towards the ground, spinning as you do this to mimic the exact motion of a "drill". Normally, your rotary motion would cause the opponent's body to spin also (since your sword would be lodged in their body) causing them to become disorientated even before they collide with the rock hard ground.

Tossing the blade to my left hand, I flip my hold to reverse grip 'Zatoichi' style. Then I bend one my left knee and begin a spinning attack. I ake sure to aim at your shins first, then your thighs, then your stomach, then your chest, and then, as I reel in for the killer blow I reinforce my left hand with my right hand, holding on to my wrist and literally pulling the bladed hand, with violent force. I deliver my killer blow to your neck, just below your chin, hoisting you into the air.

(Bakuchi Tori Kuzu Oujou) – Gambling Bird Arrowroot Death
Alright, this Kenjutsu will not involve the use of your blade, substituting its usage with hits dealt with the handle. I want you to utilize your chakra to bolt in front of the enemy, before striking them with the hilt of your sword. After doing so, deal several upward kicks to your opponent, sending them high into the air but also horizontally backwards. Whilst they're airborne, dash directly forwards (to the location they're about to land) and intercept them as they fall, punching them violently into a nearby obstacle or part of the terrain e.g. a boulder or tree.
Key Points: None.
(Rensei Shinkuken) – Drilling Crimson Blade
For this next technique, I want you to focus chakra into your blade before dashing towards the opponent and dealing an upward slash to their chest region, using the force behind the slash to send them into the air. After doing so, "appear" above and behind them, using your blade to deal a deadly drilling-type slash into their back, impaling and knocking them back towards the ground.

Brushing off the dust from my previous technique. I sheath my sword, and gave myself distance from my sensei, hand hovering over the hilt. With a powerful exhale I darted towards Knight, all my senses tensed on the new technique at hand. A second or so before impact I draw my sword, but not in an attacking motion, instead I struck the hilt directly under your chin. As my body twisted clockwise in drawing the sword I lifted my left foot along with the motion striking you the very same place my hilt just hit. Then I did the same with my right foot, sending you diagonally backwards. "There!" I breathed as I darted towards your predicted location. Reaching a mere second before your 'arrival' I deliver a powerful punch with my right hand, kicking my right foot for extra power

(Suraisu Shinku no Nami) - Slicing Crimson Wave
Unlike the previous techniques, these two will be focused around manifesting a lumnious coating of raw chakra over your sword to either fire off as a projectile or augment your sword slashes. Now, tighten your grip over the hilt of your sword and begin focusing your chakra into it, before slashing the air in a crescent-like shape to release the built chakra as a red wave of pure chakra in my direction.
Key Points: This technique can be stopped using elemental techniques.
(Chakura Bōsekiken) - Chakra Spinning Blade
Similar to the previous technique, I want you to focus your chakra into your sword, this time causing it to glow blue instead of a luminous scarlet. After stabilizing the coating of chakra, jump into the air and begin spinning at a rapid rate in a circular motion, whilst outstretching your sword to maximize its radial reach. Slash me as many times as possible in the interval of 10 seconds. This will depend on the speed of your spinning, the faster you spin, the more potential hits you can get in with your sword.

Feeling energy flowing through me like heat, I focused this energy into my wrist then my palm, then to my surprise this 'heat' was soon covering my blade causing it to glow red with tendrils of chakra falling off. I raise the sword (double-handed grip) over my head and just a little at the back of my neck. In one quick motion I brought down my blade, using my imagination of throwing something to properly fling my chakra in a crescent arc towards my sensei.

My body felt hot, as if I was walking on fire. As I hear you describe the next technique at hand I immediately knew I would have to change the form of chakra I was about to emit. Basic logic, if my crimson wave felt hot with a red chakra coat then this next technique wants a more chilled, blue chakra. I focused on the most serene place I've ever seen; the ocean. Then sure enough, I felt a calm, nice flow of energy from my stomach to my chest then, splitting in two branches, my arms, wrists, hands and into reality onto my blade. A low humming sound ensued. Not wasting any time, I tossed the sword into the air, leaped and grabbed it inches from your face, then started a spinning clockwise motion. I stretched my hand as far as I could, soon feeling an obstacle on my blade in the 3rd or so revolution, I continue until I could barely feel anything in my own hand anymore....

For these final two techniques, we will be dealing with electrical currents. One with allow you to imbue your sword with lightning chakra, the other will allow you to divert unfocused currents of electricity into the ground.
(Kusanagi no Tsurugi: Chidorigatana) - Grass Cutter Sword: One Thousand Birds Katana
For this first technique, I want you to grip the hilt of your sword tightly to prepare yourself for this jutsu. Lightning is wild and unpredictable element, which is why it must be used with great caution. Envision the nature of lightning, the sporadic nature of its movements, its ability to numb/paralyze on contact and the way it conducts along metals. Focus your raiton chakra into your blade, attempting to stabilize a steady current of lightning which produces the distinct sound of chirping birds. Instead of performing this jutsu on me, I'd like you to have a sword fight with my clone. When you feel the time is right, initiate this technique without any warning to cut through his steel blade, allowing you to land a fatal blow.
Key Points: This isn't considered an elemental technique, however it does have a elemental counterpart.
( Kenjutsu: Hirashin ) - Sword Technique: Lightning Rod
Noticing his blade being broken, as a last resort, my clone will release a unfocused current of electricity from his body, attempting to paralyze you with it so to stop your sword strike. In response to this, cease the flow of lightning to your blade and instead, point it towards the floor and stab the tip into the ground (to ensure conduction). Use your chakra to calmly divert the unfocused current of lightning through your body and straight into the ground, stopping any and all harm from coming to yourself.

For this first technique, I want you to grip the hilt of your sword tightly to prepare yourself for this jutsu. Lightning is wild and unpredictable element, which is why it must be used with great caution. Envision the nature of lightning, the sporadic nature of its movements, its ability to numb/paralyze on contact and the way it conducts along metals. Focus your raiton chakra into your blade, attempting to stabilize a steady current of lightning which produces the distinct sound of chirping birds. Instead of performing this jutsu on me, I'd like you to have a sword fight with my clone. When you feel the time is right, initiate this technique without any warning to cut through his steel blade, allowing you to land a fatal blow.
Key Points: This isn't considered an elemental technique, however it does have a elemental counterpart.

Noticing his blade being broken, as a last resort, my clone will release a unfocused current of electricity from his body, attempting to paralyze you with it so to stop your sword strike. In response to this, cease the flow of lightning to your blade and instead, point it towards the floor and stab the tip into the ground (to ensure conduction). Use your chakra to calmly divert the unfocused current of lightning through your body and straight into the ground, stopping any and all harm from coming to yourself.

Raiton. The only word on my mind, I try to imagine a creature, a fast moving, unpredictable creature running under my skin. I felt a small surge run through my right hand, it felt wild. I gripped the sword tighter, trying to focus on projecting this weird feeling chakra. A bead of sweat formed on my temple, by far the hardest chakra nature to manipulate. After a few seconds I felt it subside, it was still there in my arm but it didn't feel like needles anymore. Seeing you're clone coming at me I begin parrying the attacks, blocking, and striking but not as expertly as the clone. As I see a slight faulter in the clone's movements I performed a spinning kick to the left side of his temple then continue the spinning motion with my blade, similar to the technique I just learned [(Chakura Bōsekiken) - Chakra Spinning Blade] but without the blue coating, as your clone blocked with his sword vertically I initiated the jutsu, increasing the cutting capacity and cut through the sword- and its neck.

As the threads in its veins reversed the decapitation a jolt of electricity fired from its body. I immediately stabbed my blade into the ground and focused my raiton to act as a medium as the dangerous current ran through me and into the soil. It felt like a thousand rats scurrying through my entire body. Never the less, I was saved.
