Sorry guys. I posted in the wrong section. My bad. Here is what every one else said though.

What would happen if someone like Naruto and Hinata were to have a child? Would the child have the Hyuuga Clan's Byakugan?

What about Sasuke and Hinata? Two ocular KG, Will the child either get on or the other, both, or none? (just an example, please dont take too literal, use other combinations of KGs please)

What are your thoughts on this? I would love to know!!!!
thats a goog question

but i've never really come up with an answer sorry
its no problem. I just thought it would make an interesting convo.
the sharingan is auctally suposed to be derived from the Byakugan so my guess is that its just genitics so the odds of getting the Byakugan should be greater but i could be wrong lol i was never good a science.
yea I saaw that too. I dont believe it though. Two completely different Ocular abilities. Its like Taking Rasengan and Rasenshuriken instead of taking Rasengan and Making Chidori.

What the beliefs suggests is that you are taking one powerful jutsu and making its predecessor even more advanced. Rasengan - Rasenshuriken

I think its more of a Rasengan - Chidori. Same concept idea, completely different ability.

If that makes any sense to you. lol. :D
yea that makes sense lol
Wait if the sharingan is a dervived from byakugan does that mean the byakugan can go to a higher level like sharigan
Is it possible to move it without having to repost everything? wait disregard. I wil multiquote and move it. Thx 7Scaled

In my opinion it all depends on the dominant parent.
In the case of Sasuke and Hinata, I'd say, nd this is a long shot, tht the dominant occular KG btween these 2 would b Sasuke's Sharigan. Granted Kishi says tht the Sharigan drives from the Byakugan. So heres my question:
Where did the Byakugan Derive from?

This is a very interesting question, and I can see several ways to approach it.

First let's look at the eugenics approach.

Clans, Uchiha, Hyuuga inter marry, not brother and sister, but 2nd 3rd 4th cousins ect. This keeps the bloodline jutsu strong. Those who are born without it, are ostracized from the clan. Those who show strong aptitude towards the bloodline jutsu are highly sought after, and typically become a apart of the head family.

This however inevitably results in deformations, to offset these deformations, fresh blood from outside the clan should be brought in every other generation. Any offspring who do not develope the bloodline jutsu, are again exiled, hence perpetuating the cycle.

Now, if two bloodline jutsus were to produce offspring, there is a wide range of possibilities. In your example of a Hyuuga and an Uchiha, could theoretically result in a child with sharingan in one eye, byakugan in the other. Or a Byakugan with a Sharingan in both eyes. Mind you, from what we understand of these ocular techniques, this would be exceedingly draining, the child would need to be a jinchuriki just to have the chakra to maintain such a technique.
Or you could get a completely new bloodline jutsu, something completely different from either.
There is also the possibility of no transfer, the genetics of the two parents cancel each other's KG out.
Or a throwback, which in this case would suggest a rinnenegan, a point in the genetics where the two match up and hence are able to properly pair.
Then finally, given these are dojutsu, the child could be born blind.

Really, It would be a roll of the dice, but either way, the female in the pairing would likely need to spit out many children in order to start a new clan to support the new KG (if one was formed, or even to get one to form) This would really be a task best suited to Orochimaru
